Well ... location is good. It seems to be the nearest hostel from the station. Get out of the station and it's right on the right. I was surprised at the spacious room and there is a small family bath on the rooftop (about 3 people can enter) so you can take a hot spring bath while watching the night sky. However, there were many processing necessary for check-in (even ... who asked for passport number and workplace) and I left my clothes carelessly, but I took all the way to contact them, but there was no answer. I couldn't find my phone number, I contacted quite a lot by email, but there was no answer and ... facilities were pretty good, but the service was ... by the way, no one at the counter at night. It was my first trip to Yufuin, and thanks to the owner of the hotel, he took me from the station to the hotel and to the tourist attractions, and took me from the hotel to the station, so it was very comfortable. It's easy to understand because it's a straight road, 6 〜 7 minutes walk from Yufuin Station. Cross the river and turn right. From the small front desk to the second floor by stairs, there are ５ guest rooms. Japanese-style room type with tatami mats and futons, toilets and washrooms are indoors. The bath is ２ on the first floor, and since it is a chartered type, we use those who are vacant. I took a bath twice before arrival and departure because I can enter for 24 hours. Of course hot springs! I used it with a plan without meals, but breakfast is from 8 am at the dining room on the first floor. It was a simple and easy to use, bath was very satisfying inn.

It took us a while to find the Minshuku as there were no English signage. Luckily we asked us a passerby who pointed us in the right direction. The tatami room was enough for our family of 4 with an 8yo and 11yo. The communal sink was right outside our room and the shared toilets were right around the corner. We liked their small bath house too around the the back of the main building. We were very kindly greeted and shown our room. They most spoke Japanese but we managed to get by using translator apps. Ample parking and we were allowed to park for a while after checking out so we could walk around the small town. They also returned my daughter's bolster and purse which she accidentally left behind. The location of the minshuku is very good - just a few hundred meters from Kinrin lake and the tourist spots nearby.

Very good hotel, clean and tidy, hot spring bath is also very good, the geographical environment is quiet. In the morning, my aunt took me to Yufuin Station. If you want modern facilities, I do not recommend it. Keep the check-in time and go And you must take a taxi from Yufuin Station to your accommodation. I walked, but the road is rough. The hot springs are until 10pm and the entrance door is closed after 10pm, so I went to a convenience store before that. You have to buy food (it takes about 10 minutes to walk to the convenience store) I want to visit again. I will rest very comfortably and come again next time.
