Travel with a group of friends to Beppu but only 4 of us decided to stay at Amanek for 2 nights. This was the best decision ever as we were closed to the JR station, eateries, Tokiwa shopping mall, Donki and the beach were within walking distance. Only few staff could speak English. Those who speak Japanese only also try their best to serve the guest. I am impressed by how clean and new the whole hotel is. Best of all, I love the free flow of juices & beverages. You could also do take away in the UCC coffee disposible cup. Love the choice of either western or local breakfast with free flow of side dishes. I am surprised by how big the bedroom is and spacious bathroom. The gym equipment tho basic, are new & in good condition. The onsen is clean & modern & I love the warm rooftop pool with an awesome view! Amanek is thoughtful to provide guest with a basket to hold all your onsen needs. Upon check out, I was overcharged for my 2 days of breakfast. The staff was quick to rectify the problem & refunded me on the spot. Yes, would definitely stay in Amanek again in my next visit to Beppu! Thank you for the awesome stay!

We enjoyed our stay thoroughly. Service was very good. Parking was an extra 550 yen per day. Breakfast was Japanese style but did include a bacon and egg cooked in front of each guest with the small Japanese hotpot. Our room fit 3 adults was very nice with clean modern amenities consisting of one room with two single beds, and a sizable living room with futon in the evening for the third bed. Nice view of Beppu tower in our room. Hotspring outdoor was totally enjoyable with a view of the sunrise and the Beppu Bay. Gotta be careful though because for ladies, someone in a boat at the bay might be able to see our naked upper bodies with telescope if we stand up.😅

Each morning, I looked forward to a delightful spread of Japanese delights that tantalized my taste buds and left me feeling energized for the day ahead. It was a wonderful introduction to Japanese cuisine. Now, let's talk about the onsen – an absolute highlight of my stay. The soothing hot springs provided a tranquil retreat where I could unwind and relax amidst the serene surroundings. It was an experience I'll cherish for a long time. One of the things I loved most about Dormy Inn Oita was its convenient location near the JR Station. This made it incredibly easy to explore the local area and find delicious dining options for dinner. It was like having the best of Oita right at my doorstep! During my stay, there was an unexpected earthquake, but I was so impressed by how the staff handled the situation. They kept everyone informed and checked in regularly to ensure everyone felt safe and comfortable. Their kindness and professionalism truly made a difference during a challenging time. And let me tell you about the incredible assistance I received when my car ran out of battery. The front desk staff went above and beyond to help me out, contacting the necessary services and ensuring everything was sorted out quickly and efficiently. It was such a relief to have their support. In conclusion, my stay at Dormy Inn Oita was nothing short of amazing. From the warm hospitality to the comfortable accommodations and delicious breakfast, every aspect exceeded my expectations. I can't wait to return and make more wonderful memories at this fantastic hotel. Dormy Inn will always hold a special place in my heart.

We were warmly greeted by staff who helped us with our bags and checked us into the hotel room . We had booked into the twin room . Wow it was huge with a bedroom , dining room as well as a wash basin and toilet . Only letdown was that there was no shower nor bathtub . Another friend had booked the one with private indoor and outdoor onsens and they were beautiful . This hotel had two private onsens that one could use anytime . You hang a “in use” sign on the door each time you use and it was very beautiful . The public bath was also unique and picturesque . Kaiseiki dinner was delicious with wagyu beef . Breakfast was Japanese style and was also delicious . What made the stay special was the Nepalese staff Pathak with his good explanation and his ability to communicate English with us . That made a difference to the stay .

This is a warm and comfortable hotel. I stayed with my family in the two guest rooms of Anzu and Ajisai at Yufuin Bettei ITSUKI. We chose the package with dinner and breakfast. You can park your car at the hotel first and then go out to play. It takes only 7 minutes to walk to Kinrin Lake. There is also a MaxValue supermarket near the hotel, which is super convenient. After half a day of sightseeing in cold weather, the hotel lobby welcomes their guests with the warmth of firewood. This is one of the things I like about this hotel. The staff are very polite and the service is superb. They call before dinner reservation time to let you know dinner is ready. Dinner is arranged in a private room in the restaurant which allows sufficient privacy. Local seasonal ingredients are used in every dish, tasted fresh and delicious and served on fine pottery. Such an absolute feast for the tongue and eyes! I would like to appreciate the mindfulness of the hotel. When making hotel reservation, I told the hotel that we have a member who does not eat raw food. At that time, the hotel replied that the sashimi in the meal could be served cooked. When we check-in, hotel staff took special attention with that. The room is spacious and tidy with air purifiers and humidifiers. One of the rooms we stayed in had an indoor and an outdoor onsen and the other had a semi-outdoor hot spring. Flowers and plants are planted in the garden of the room and around the outdoor hot spring. You can feel the natural atmosphere of Yufuin when you look out from indoors or in onsen. There is another point worthy of praise. When I was seated for dinner, I asked the staff at the front desk if I could buy stamps for sending postcard. They did not have stamps for sale. To my surprise, as soon as the first course of dinner was served, hotel staff handed me a beautiful envelope with a stamp inside. They even checked the postage fee to make sure the stamp fee is enough. How efficient and thoughtful they are. This is the best onsen hotel and I would recommend it to everyone. Family raves about the stay. Overall it's impeccable. If I have the opportunity to come to Yufuin again in the future, I will definitely choose this hotel again.

Because it was located in a quiet place, I felt a quiet rural atmosphere. It may feel far away because it is located at the end of an uphill road from the station, but it is located right in front of Kinrinko Lake, a famous spot in Yufuin. The clerks were also very friendly, and when I asked if I could store my luggage, they said they could, so I came in after playing with a grateful heart. He even helped me bring my luggage to the room. I was impressed from the beginning thanks to the comfortable and considerate service. However, we wanted to reserve a place with a private bath on the first floor. They said it was already full..! Oh my gosh,, An open-air bath that can be reserved for 1 hour and used privately. I made a reservation at night and used it, so there was actually no inconvenience! Also, we all go to the shared public bath early in the morning. Since it was just my family, it was also unintentionally private. As expected from Yufuin, the hot spring water was very good and neat and clean. Even when checking out, the owner greeted me kindly. Even if Jim Carrey is carried to the first floor just like the first time... I'm really touched in many ways,,,🥹 There are many ryokans in Yufuin, but this is a really great ryokan for the price. Next time I visit again, I want to experience the first floor as well. I'm planning to re-book ㅜㅠㅠ It was such a friendly experience,, And there is a soba restaurant with the same name right next to the bathhouse. It looks like they only sell lunch, but this place is also really good and there is a long wait, which is a shame since it is located right next door. 🤭

The room is shown as 11 square meters, but it is at least 20 square meters. The hot spring pool in the room is also very large. The toiletries are all from Pola, and even the skin care lotion is also from Pola. The two meals brought by me are both Japanese, which is quite good.

It is a 5-story inn. To commemorate the anniversary of its founding １１１, there was a free beer drink service in the lounge. It is a long-established inn in Yufuin Onsen. The customer service of the front desk staff was polite • and kind. I was able to answer the difference between Yufuin and Yufuin properly. I stayed in a large Japanese-style room on the ５ floor. When I opened the curtain, Mt. Yufu was approaching in front of me. The bathrooms are not unit-type, and the bath • Toilet • wash basins are independent. Supper is a summer Oitagawa kaiseki course. All the dishes were delicious. In particular, the dishes that left an impression on me were grilled on a Japanese black beef hoba miso ceramic plate. The warmed miso has a hoba scent, and the slightly sweet taste goes well with the beef. The more you want to refill it with an exquisite taste. Breakfast is buffet style. I was satisfied with the local menu of Oita Prefecture, including dango soup. There are two indoor baths in the large hot spring bath with a spacious space. There is also a whirlpool bath and a Louis Bosti hot water of the incense hot water. The open-air bath has natural rocks on the side facing the garden. The hot water temperature is a little hot and has a feeling of slimy. What is it in the indoor bath! Yunohana. Yunohana, which crystallized the hot spring ingredients, was in bloom in the bathtub. The hot spring is a good proof. I was able to stay at this hot spring inn and became a good memory of my husband and wife trip.

Room accommodation with open-air bath [Room] Yufu Dake was well seen from the open-air bath. It is convenient to wash shampoo and body in the open-air bath or in the inner bath in the room. There are chairs and tables on the balcony. 【Amenities】 There are several cosmetics for men and women on the washbasin in the room. There are cleaning, but for the price of the room, including other amenities, it was .... 【Bath】 Small towels are prepared in the public bath, so you don't need to use wet things. There are few amenities in the dressing room. [Meal] Private room in the dining hall with evening breakfast. Dinner and Bungo beef steak were soft and delicious. When I entered the private room, I was already prepared for sashimi and baked fish on the table. There may be corona measures, but the baked fish was cold, so it was a little disappointing. There was breakfast, hot tofu and specialty ryukyu. There was a matcha and sweet service at check-in. It is good to spend a leisurely time walking to Lake Jinxi. I just felt that it was not as expensive.

I thought it was self-service and no one was there. I didn't expect that there was someone to greet you at check-in. Someone told you the precautions. I thought the hotel was old, so I was prepared for it to be dirty. Fortunately, it was very clean. There are supermarkets and restaurants nearby. It is very close to the JR station. I rented a private hot spring. I agreed with the front desk and registered. I can soak in it at will. It is quite clean. If possible, it is better to bring a disposable quilt cover. There are still some places that are not covered by their quilt cover. There are not many sockets, so you need to bring a multi-plug one. The quilt is based on the number of guests. Small disposable cups are given. Remember to buy some at the supermarket.
