We were allowed to freely take alcoholic beverages, such as draft beer (Maruef), to our room, and there were also some snacks available.
The room was clean, and the private bathroom in the room was definitely the best part. The attached photo is of breakfast; in addition to this, we also received grilled horse mackerel, white rice, and pork miso soup as hot items.

The hot spring water was very nice.
It was also great to be able to drink freshly brewed coffee using the coffee mill in the room.
It was a relaxing time.
Thank you very much.

The environment was lovely, and the hotel's location on the mountain was a delightful surprise. All rooms had indoor hot springs; we stayed in room 11, which was about 35 square meters and very spacious. The hotel had an all-you-can-eat lounge, and the breakfast was plentiful. I would definitely come again.

I stayed at this hotel in December 2025. It was rebuilt by Real Quality, a company that operates several all-inclusive resorts, from a former Taisho-era inn that had closed down. The renovated facility has low ceilings and a maze-like layout, but I personally liked the sense of history. The food was delicious, and I enjoyed the hot springs attached to my private room. The staff were also very friendly. I did not use the sauna. I'll summarize this for future guests. It seems that the number of negative reviews has increased over the past year, mainly related to the all-inclusive theme. This was my first all-inclusive stay, and I wasn't particularly picky, but having to travel to the lounge and carry my drink by glass was inconvenient. The lounge's service level is comparable to that of a slightly more luxurious airport card lounge. Apparently, they discontinued the in-room wine bottle service around April 2025. Currently, they only offer canned beer. The hotel received high praise for its high level of service when it first opened, so it seems unlikely that a single can of beer would have led to its current reputation. This leads me to suspect review hacking. It seems that Real Quality is using a similar strategy, as other properties have received mixed reviews for their all-inclusive packages. Returning to the original topic, I think this is a case of downgrade. It seems this is also contributing to the low reviews for other areas. Several reviews stated that the cleanliness was "not very good." While this may be due to the property's age, there was clearly visible mold in the shower room, suggesting a failed renovation. This likely stems from poor ventilation. While I personally don't find it particularly bothersome, it certainly leaves the guest room feeling less than expected. There were some surprising points not mentioned in the reviews, so I'll mention them here. First, during the winter, wind chills the guest room's open-air bath, which is typically cold, making it impossible to bathe in. I checked the wind speed data and found that it measured only around 2-3 m/s, but it felt like 5-7 m/s, enough to "kick up dust and send leaves flying" (according to the Japan Weather Association's standards). On the other hand, while the wind wasn't particularly strong, the water temperature was 43 degrees, and there was no way to adjust the temperature in the guest rooms, so I imagine there will be quite a few days during the winter when you can't even enjoy the hot springs. There's no large public bath, so your only option is a moldy shower room, not a hot spring. I stayed two nights and was able to use the shower on the first night, but I couldn't use it from the second night until checkout on the third day. If I had only stayed the second night, I probably wouldn't have been able to use it at all. I asked the staff about this casually, and it seems to be a known issue. They should definitely install heating equipment. Second, while this only applies to guests staying multiple nights, the water in the guest rooms is cut off around noon. There was no announcement about this, and when I contacted them via intercom, they also asked, "When are you planning to leave?", which was a bad experience. I wasn't planning on staying overnight, so if I had been informed in advance, I would have left before the water was cut off. Overall, I felt it was average for a ryokan, if a little pricey, and clearly overpriced for an all-inclusive resort. While value for money isn't everything, I wasn't entirely satisfied with the experience, especially considering the psychological benefits. I don't think I'll recommend it or return.

We visited for the first time as a couple in November. There is no shuttle service, so we went by ourselves (bus and on foot). It's about a 5-minute walk from the nearest bus stop. You have to go up a steep slope. If you come by car, you may be surprised. When we arrived at the inn, we saw a wonderful entrance! It was renovated less than a year ago, so it was clean. When we arrived after 2 p.m., three or four groups had already been accepted. We were shown to our seats, had a welcome drink, and went to our room. We stayed in a room with a good view, but the stairs at the top were quite difficult. There is no elevator, so we carried our luggage such as suitcases by ourselves. If you have a large luggage, it may be difficult to go to a room that goes up to the top. There are coffee beans (mill) in the room, and the refrigerator is full of your favorite drinks. If you can't drink it, you can take it home. As soon as we arrived at the room, we reserved a private bath! I think there were three types of private baths. There is a sauna, so I was really looking forward to it and made a reservation first. After that, there is a place like a rest room, so we went there. There are frozen curry, wine, and juice. Snacks?! Not exactly, but there are a few snacks like cheap snacks. There was some delicious wine, but I wish I had some cheese... There were three or four types of Japanese wine, so it's good for people who like domestic wine. You can drink as much as you want in that space and at dinner! When you leave the rest area and go to the private bath, they set up water for you, so you can enjoy 90 minutes with peace of mind. The first time is free, and the next time you reserve a private bath, it costs 3,300 yen, so I only used it once, but I would like to use it twice if possible. As for dinner, it was a Japanese meal with a wonderful presentation. You can enjoy a menu like the Yayoi period or the Stone Age. If it's your birthday, you get a surprise celebration (lol) Breakfast is a Japanese set meal. It comes with a meal with kenchinjiru. If possible, it would be nice for men to have ham or sausages, but the dried fish was also delicious. Green tea is available if you ask. Check-out was at 10:00, but I would like to visit again as it offers sauna and wine (all-you-can-drink). This inn is not suitable for the elderly. Also, people with disabilities may not be able to climb the stairs. I highly recommend this inn for young people and sauna lovers!
