Meteorite Snow Mountain Resort (Rizhao Jinshan Roof View) Reviews

We absolutely loved our stay at the Meteorite Snow Mountain Resort! We wished that we had more days here. We were being pampered with the most delicious afternoon coffee and snacks (see photos below). We enjoyed visiting the nearby Joseph Rock’s Former Residence, the beautiful Jade Lake and simply walking around the Yuhu Village itself. We watched both the sunset in the evening and sunrise the next morning while "being on the top of the world" and standing on the rooftop of the facility :-)

This is an up and coming small town, very cozy and unique character. There are still many renovation and construction along the mainstreet. This hotel has a famous photo shooting point that the snow mountain is on the background. The hotel is very nicely decorated. The staff is very helpful to take care our luggage into and out of the room. The room and deco are very nice and warmth feeling. It's not a big hotel, and feels like private villa. There's also a coffee counter downstairs, but they open a bit late, I think 10am. The room comes with breakfast, and it's ok breakfast (rice noodles and some small bites). It would be great if coffee was served but no, we could only get somewhat warm milk. We only had breakfast once because there are other places that serve more interesting food. You will definitely love the hotel's vibe and atmosphere, and we highly recommend.

Amazing staff, amazing service. They are so helpful in every way, from carrying our luggage to our rooms, giving suggestions to good restaurants and tours. There are even a heater on mattress. What a relief for cold weather in December. The hotel is close to the snow mountain, the view from the room is so beautiful. I would recommend this hotel to everyone who wish to come Yuhu Village.

A good homestay in Yuhu Village. There is a checkpoint in Yuhu Village. If you drive or take a Didi taxi to enter Yuhu Village, you need to call the front desk to report the license plate number in advance. The room is in a secluded place. Getting up early to take pictures of Yulong Snow Mountain is not as expected. Breakfast is good [Snow Mountain View] Afternoon tea for two: Did not try it [Western simple meal] Tomato meat sauce pasta: Did not try it.

Apart from slightly poor hygiene and slow and inconsistent hot water, everything else was perfect. Every clerk was very enthusiastic and polite. The afternoon tea and tomato pasta they gave me were delicious!

The whole homestay is very design-oriented. The outer courtyard is mainly a cafe and a few guest rooms, which are the characteristic stone houses of this village; the inner courtyard is a Naxi residential style guest room with a wooden frame. The view of the rooftop public terrace is very beautiful. You can see the snow-capped mountains standing like a high wall behind the whole village. To the south, you can see Baisha Town and Lion Mountain in Dayan. Location: Yuhu Village (Xuesong Village) is at the foot of the snow-capped mountains. The homestay is on the main road in the village, on the same street as the Rock Museum. It takes more than 20 minutes to walk to the lake. Transportation: There is a gate at the entrance of the village. Tell the homestay in advance to report the license plate number, and the gate will release it. The car can drive to the door of the homestay. It is very smooth to take a taxi in and out. I took a Didi taxi to Yulong Snow Mountain Scenic Area at around 9 o'clock on Friday morning, and the order was received in seconds. Room: Very clean, large room area, and comfortable bed. There is a heater and electric blanket. It is 0 degrees at night, so I don’t sleep cold. Disadvantages: 1. The double bedroom faces the street, and you can hear the sound of cars rushing over the stone road, horse bells, and dog barking all night. If you have a light sleep, I suggest you ask the B&B to arrange a room in the inner courtyard. 2. The air conditioner was broken the night we stayed, and it did not heat. The heater only worked in the small bedroom. The living room and master bedroom were very large and cold. Fortunately, the rooms in Shanghai are colder than this, and we got into bed early to solve the problem. Meals: Coffee, tea, Western pastries and pasta are very good and delicious. And the store is very generous and the portions are very large. Breakfast is a set meal, a local specialty meal, rich and exquisite in taste, with amazing mushroom sauce, sweet potatoes sweet and soft, and porridge and rice noodles are delicious. By the way, the bakery next door has first-class ingredients and baking technology, and the bread produced is better than many European shops. Service: Help with luggage. Answer all questions, and the information provided is accurate. When encountering problems, they also accept them first and find ways to make up for them. The attitude is very open and gentle. In addition, the coffee shop and accommodation are "different departments". Accommodation includes afternoon tea in the package, so remember to tell the front desk of the B&B about anything.

I booked a double room. The room facilities and sanitation services were very good. There was also free afternoon tea to enjoy. Thanks to the butler Yamato for promptly and enthusiastically answering all kinds of travel questions.

Facilities: The hotel is retro-style. Locking and opening the door gives you a sense of time travel, and it is very complete! There are humidifiers, electric blankets, and electric heaters, but the air conditioning is already very powerful. Environment: I like the overall environment of the hotel! The lobby is a coffee shop. The stone house in Yuhu Village is really unique, and then there is the golden mountain in the sun + the snow-capped mountain on the roof! It's so photogenic! ! ! Afternoon tea and breakfast are also very rich! ! I will stay here again next time! ! Service: The service is really thoughtful. I got off the taxi and felt a little dizzy. The waitress helped me carry my luggage throughout the whole process and gave me a cup of flower tea in time. Especially the shopkeeper Xiao Li was thoughtful and enthusiastic! ! When I left, I also deposited my luggage to visit nearby attractions. When I came back, I helped carry my luggage and put it in the car~ Overall, there is nothing to say. I will definitely stay here again next time!

A very satisfying stay, right at the foot of Yulong Snow Mountain. You can see the snow mountain from the observation deck. There is a cafe on the first floor. You can order a cup of coffee and look at the distant mountains. It is very comfortable. The breakfast is also very exquisite. There is afternoon tea in each room. The waiter is also very good. It is a very satisfying journey

The room is large and in good condition in every aspect. You can see the Rizhao Jinshan Mountain from the rooftop in the morning, which is beautiful. The room is very characteristic, the courtyard is also very special, the most surprising is to see the naked eye visible night sky on the rooftop,  big and bright and many, really amazing. The small village is very special with stone roads, Be careful when driving into the hotel at night that there is a section of the road without street lights at all, In addition, the car must be parked in the parking lot 300 meters away. After watching the stars in the evening, it is very nice to get up in the morning to see the sunshine and golden mountains. The service attitude of the hotel staff is very good and help with luggage.

A small village at the foot of the snow-capped mountains, the houses are all built of stones, very distinctive. The Pu Shi Hotel is very uniquely designed. There are many people taking pictures with the snow-capped mountains on the roof, which is very beautiful. The waiters here are all young people with good attitudes. The housekeeper Xiao Li is particularly good at service. He is a simple and handsome young man. On the first day of check-in, he gave a big plate of afternoon tea and juice, as well as pasta. The children were very happy. The coffee and simple meals at the entrance of the hotel are also good, and you can get a 15% discount. It is worth recommending!
