Coronado Motor Hotel, a Travelodge by Wyndham

Our stay at the Coronado Motor Hotel was fine. The service was good and friendly. The room was clean although it may need a bit of an update. Parking was very nice, right outside the room. The only real critical concern was that the guests in the room next door were able to be heard from our room, like they were in the same room.

It was so cool. We felt like we were back in time in the 70’s it was great. The breakfast in the morning was awesome. Can’t wait to stay again soon I hope 😁

We had a double queen room with a full kitchen which made our meals easy. The hotel also gave us a cook breakfast from their restaurant each day. The staff is friendly, helpful and professional. They have a laundry room and we were able to do our laundry twice during our stay.

People that work there are friendly but seemed bothered if they have to do their job Room never got comfortable temperature wise. Bed pillows seemed like throw pillows with covers over them Drain in bath tub shower would not drain. So you are standing in water. Yes this is an old historical hotel but these are basic items that house cleaning should have noticed while cleaning the room and could have been addressed. You can get a far better value for the money somewhere else.

Great location, close to the freeway.

Nothing fancy here, just a comfortable older motel in the heart of old town Yuma. Staff was friendly, location was great for walking to nearby shops and restaurants. Nice touch to be able to get a complimentary breakfast at the restaurant next door. The king bed was comfy and the room was clean. My only complaints would be the very small bathroom with no place to hold your personal products (easily solved if they would add a shelf above the toilet) and noisy neighbors who don't stop to think that talking loudly on their phone outside their door at 6:30 in the morning might disturb their neighbors who are still sleeping. Enjoyed reading the history on this hotel.

Really enjoyed our stay at the Historic Coronado Motel. Conveniently located, great room even had a little kitchen. A little noisy from traffic but tolerable.

Great value and friendly, professional staff.
