First, you are presented with coupons to redeem free mini shampoo and conditioner of your choice - fill it up yourself; and coupons to redeem milk. Next, collect your egg n boil it in Onsen water. Take a bath and enjoy your Onsen egg with beer. After that, give your legs a massage at the leg massager and enjoy a popsicle and drink. Dinner was scrumptious! Excellent cooking and delicious beef - teppanyaki, steamed and stew. Sashimi was so good too! O toro that melts, sweet shrimp and scallop. In the room, enjoy 3 types of tottori snacks - Nishiki jelly, sand biscuit and manju.

It was the first time that I was taken care of by this inn because it was the first time that I was on the hot spring. The room was a corner room with a view of Lake Togo. The open-air bath is several meters to the waterfront of Togo Lake, so the view is outstanding. The dishes are good and satisfying with the taste volume.

Business Hotel Yamamoto is a family-run souvenir shop and hotel. The souvenir shop is on the first floor, and the hotel is on the second floor. The rooms were immaculately cleaned, and had a handmade feel that was different from that of business hotels. There is also a hot spring with a unit bath. Although it is a unit bath, the quality of the spring water suited me, and I felt quite relaxed. In my opinion, the quality of the spring water was good. The price of the accommodation was reasonable, and Business Hotel Yamamoto was better than I expected.

The hotel is a walk from the lake; near Matsuzaki Railway Station. Thanks to the reception staff and restaurant service staff, even in the face of foreign passengers who do not speak Japanese at all, they patiently communicate and introduce; the quality of catering and service is really great!

A lovely little stay in Hawai Onsen! The local area was so quiet and peaceful, with a couple of good restaurants and a convenience store within a short walk (we were also offered assistance with an izakaya reservation, if we wanted it). The room was big and clean, with comfortable beds and a good selection of provided ameneties. Owner was also very attentive to our needs, and offered additional towels and cleaning if/when we wanted it. Bath was always warm and very relaxing, including an outdoor one. Although the rooms were clean, the shared areas could have done with some additional cleaning - the sinks were not always clean (some hair/dirt), and there were sometimes holes in the bug netting. The trip listing is a little incorrect, as the ”run of house” listing is still only a room with a shared bathroom. The ”shared bathroom” also refers to a full shared onsen experience, with no private shower cubicles etc available. There was a kettle/fridge available, but it would've been nice to have some more kitchen items (plates, chopsticks) as well as a microwave available.
