Naspa New Otani Reviews

A convenient family resort hotel with swimming pool, onsen, ski rental, ski lesson and ski club for the kids. This is a ski in and out Resort for NASPA. The room is well design, spacious and complete with an Expresso machine. Convenient stores, coin laundry, vending machines are all available from within the hotel. The hotel is also conveniently located so you can drive to other ski resorts within the Yuzawa valley easily within 30 mins drive.

Very satisfied. The hotel has its own ski slope and there is a shuttle bus to Echigo-Yuzawa Station. The only drawback is that the hotel's food and beverages are not up to Japan's average. It is recommended to eat near Echigo-Yuzawa Station.

It was my first time to visit Naspa New Otani. There was a hotel shuttle from Echigo-Yuzawa, which took 5 minutes by car. It was very convenient! For skiing, Naspa Ski Garden is not a big snow mountain and only has a few slides. But if your family has children or beginners, the Ski and n Ski Out hotel facilities are very good. There is a free bus to the three major D's nearby. ski resort. Moreover, the ski pass for this mountain is free, and the room price includes breakfast and dinner buffet.

There is a ski resort downstairs in the hotel, but unfortunately the ski resort opens first on the second day after leaving. Remember not to go to Qingda Ski Resort to rent ski equipment. It is convenient to rent ski resorts! I had to wait for 2 hours when I went to rent Qingda ski equipment. The clerk was a novice and couldn't solve the problem at all. The worst thing was that the children's snowshoes and snowboards were not compatible! A child's snowboard part accidentally fell out of the sky, which is extremely dangerous‼ ️

The hotel has a beautiful environment, free hot springs, shops, and private transportation. Although the pick-up time is not flexible enough, it is still acceptable. The hotel staff has a good attitude and can communicate in English. The room is quite large and the items are abundant.

The staff were friendly, and although the facilities were old, they were well maintained, so I had a comfortable rest. Unfortunately, I couldn't go skiing because I went a little early, but it was a memorable trip where I enjoyed seeing the snow that lived up to the reputation of the snow country.
