Exit at east exit from train station Walk straight ..owner very nice . Can use laundry after asking him . Onsen at 2/F. Can lock up for private use. Family mart nearby

The hotel is on the East side of the station which we hadn't stayed before. Its quieter then the West which was nice but still close to some restaurants and the main bus stops for ski resorts. Its about a 5 min walk from the station. We arrived and nobody was at reception and even dinging the bell we had to wait a while. It is a bit of a mess downstairs in reception with the owners clutter but that has nothing to do with your stay so not to worry. We did request a Japanese room if available but nothing was ever mentioned about that and we just got a western style twin. The owner didnt know much english so we didn't want to bother trying to explain. It was clean, neat and every day we got new towels, yukata, new tea, bed made etc. There is a dry room downstairs for your skis and boots and gear and everything was toasty and warm in the morning. You leave the key in the box when you leave each day and get it back from reception once you return, though if we went out for dinner again later or to the konbini we would just keep it on us. You have your own bathroom but they also have 1 Japanese Onsen and you can use it for private and lock the door. It was so nice to have private Onsen as we have rarely been able to have Onsen together in Japan as a couple. It is also a close walk to a Lawson so you don’t have to fight the other tourists for food at the 7 Eleven on the west side. Or you can go to Matsumoto KiYoshi at the station East side. The hotel was quiet when we were there. Perhaps there wasn't many guests or maybe they were just considerate and quiet people. I would stay here again for sure but would like to get a Japanese room next time.

We stayed here for 4 nights for the Fuji Rock Festiv al. Turned out to be a really good decision because after a long and hot summer day, we could always crash to a comfy bed and a clean room. The room itself is very spacious by Japanese standards. We were able fit in a couple of medium-sized luggages.

I stayed with my husband and friends and had the best time! The owner is a sweet old man who usually waited for us to get back even if it was around midnight on most days! Clean and well-kept rooms that are very spacious compared to most places we've stayed at in Tokyo and the location is great too! Will definitely stay here again and recommend to others. the boss is very casual, he will allow you to do anything and let you feel like live in your home, and the view is very good

The accommodation is clean and quiet. and got a room with a beautiful view of the snow-capped mountains Wake up early and open the window to take photos.

The friendly grandpa welcomes you at the counter. There is a bathhouse on the second floor where you can take a bath and the door can be locked! The room I stayed in had a Japanese-style tatami floor. What surprised me most was that the room had its own bathroom facilities. The overall stay was very comfortable. It was not too far from the station and there was a FamilyMart convenience store nearby.

It takes about ten minutes to walk from the hotel to the station. When you go out and turn right at the door, there is a supermarket at the first intersection. If you don’t want to go to the station to eat, the supermarket sells cooked food, instant noodles, vegetables, and fruits, which can meet your dietary needs. . When you return from the snow park, you have to put it in the storage room on the first floor. If you have a reservation, it will take you to nearby ski resorts (GALA Yuzawa, Ishiuchi Maruyama) in about 5-10 minutes, which is quite convenient. The room was fully heated and the laundry was dry in less than one night.

Although it's a short distance from the station, it's okay. The mountain view from the room window is really beautiful! The room is quite big and comfortable. The boss is very nice and will help with anything~ I will choose this hotel next time I have the chance to ski~

For simply coming to ski Go skiing early in the morning and rest in the evening Far more privacy and space than a youth hostel But the price is much more affordable than mid-range hotels Really worth a stay
