We chose Parador de Zafra because we were traveling through Spain and it was in the right location to rest that night. But that wasn't the only criterion: it was a historic building, very beautiful, with good conditions and good reviews. We were not disappointed! Even though it is in a castle environment, it has all the comfort conditions, the service was very friendly. Parking was paid.

Excelente parador. Personal muy agradable, y comida mucho mejor. Situado en Zafra. Una de las razones de elegir este parador, fue porque admiten mascotas. Si vas debes visitar el pueblo y sobre todo la plaza Chica y plaza grande. Por las noches de verano, hay mucho ambiente. Zafra es cara

Good hotel , beautiful place. Would stay again , Parking worked very well. Dinner and breakfast good although service a little slow at dinner , (shortage of staff on holiday maybe)

Das uns angebotene Zimmer fiel durch eine extrem schlechte Belüftung, extrem intensive schlechte Gerüche, ungenügend gereinigte Sanitäreinrichtungen, eine geringe Beleuchtung, eine wenig ansprechende Inneneinrichtung sehr negativ auf. (Im Rheinland sagt man: Es war usselig!) Umgehend nach dem Einchecken haben wir wieder ausgecheckt und sind ca. 400 km zur eigentlich erst für den Folgetag vorgesehenen Unterkunft weitergefahren. Die war deutlich besser

Fantastic service at reception and throughout this lovely Parador. Some very interesting rooms fitted into the castle turret and a beautiful building with the possibility of walking the battlements. Beds were as comfortable as any I’ve had anywhere.
