Fantastic hotel everything perfect enjoyable stay. I can’t say more

Very good hotel, the room is small, but it has its own characteristics, and the taste of the food is also good. Overall 4.5 points. But to drive in and out, it is not suitable for and without the car's itinerary.

Hotel got a refurb this year, and looks nice on paper. Staff very service minded, BUT that is also to cater for a few shortcomings. * Pool/sauna great, but they lack pool towels. Asking reception or housekeeping for an extra one on the room is just cumbersome. * Restaurant 'Baron' has nice HB dinners, a la carte also looks fine. But nothing like an amuse or bread with oil with the drinks, then the wait for the meal courses is long. Great staff, they found a replacement dessert for us as the standard offer was not our taste. Spacious rooms, often with shared balcony. Great buffet breakfast. Good free walking and biking routes.

All was good, location, rooms, facilities, breakfast, service ....In short, very good welcome. Beautiful centrally located. Many folders available about the environment and all kinds of activities. Friendly and helpful staff. Clean and clean. Always someone accessible if necessary.

I had a single room. Probably the room with the least favourable. :-( It was a problem to enter the room because the door must first be turned over the box before there is room to enter. The hotel has a fixed floor cover. I don't think this is hygienic anyway. There were several doubtful points in the tape. I didn't like to walk on bare feet through the room. The night box stood behind the bed, and the wall, against which the bed stood, was with a screw, and you could lose something. The night the light was difficult, because the lamp was behind the bed. I'm currently staying at the bastion hotel, we arrived late on Sunday but the restaurant was still open, I'm here as a group on business and so far as a collective we seem very pleased with our experience, special mentions to Anouk and Ben who stand out as very professional!! And also all other staff at the hotel! I'm sorry as I've not had time to catch their names yet. If in the future I get the chance to travel to this area I will be very grateful if it is to this hotel!! Many thanks to the Bastion staff!!

Excellent hotel with very friendly people to the boss. Dick plus for helpfulness and remember when one of our friends had suffered an accident. Come back. Small comments: if you stay for several days, the menu card for the arrangement may be a bit more extensive for us. We will certainly come back once!

First of all let me tell you that we booked 4 nights in a Topsuite.Fotos are really amazing and look quite new BUT do not trust the fotos.They do not reflect the reality of this Van der Valk hotel.Location to visit the Floriade as well as the check-in were ok. Parking is free.When entering our Topsuite we immediately realized that an empty cup of coffee was still on the floor in front of our door.You can see several trays with the rest of room service food in front of many doors during the whole day....nobody cares.(see fotos)The suite was so dirty in corners,next to walls,or inside shower !You could even write your name inthe dust INSIDE ALL wardroabs and cabinets.Worst of all was the Nespressomachine(please see fotos!!)Frames,TV as well as all other details haven't been cleaned since days....You got a rainforestshower as well as a handshower,BUT the last one did not function.Impossible to get your shampoo out of your hair! We went down to reception to clarify with the manager.We were told that she was out of office at that time but they could reclean?! the suite if we want. Referring to the shower we were told that they would check...As we asked to change the suite we were told that there was no availability at that time.Ok! May be everything would be arranged the other day....As we returned back in the late morning on the following day NOTHING DID CHANGE!No shower,the room was made but still dirty and the cup of coffee still in front of the door.... Let me tell you guys that in this hotel they don't put Kleenexpapers near the sinks!you have to use toiletpaper if you are missing your Kleenex.. For dinner you will meet a very unprofessional service(so lived on OUR table),may be other guests get a better one. For breakfast we noticed that ALL white yoghurts did pass there Expiry dates!!We told the staff about the fact and they took all away.Nobody seems to control expiry dates when putting food on the buffet.We did show the yoghurt pot at the reception and everybody was ”really” sorry about that fact and promised us to tell the manager.... As on second day in the evening no message came from the general manger about our complaints,I once again went to reception and finally met the manager.She told me that she heard about our ”Problems” and that she would understand our frustration....nothing constructive from her side.”the suites have to be clean dear guest?”...Ok we agree..BUT?As we didn't want to spoil our holidays in this famous hotel we CHECKED OUT after the first night and leaved this VAN DER VALK hotel in the evening.

I had a wonderful experience at this place. The staff greeted me warmly with smiles, and I thoroughly enjoyed my time here. The rooms are modern and impeccably maintained, and it's conveniently accessible by car with paid parking near the Jumbo store. The breakfast was also delightful. I highly recommend this establishment.
