This place could easily be called the pinnacle of guesthouse living; it's the house of my dreams, nestled deep in a bamboo forest, secluded and serene! The owner is incredibly welcoming, the food is delicious, the rooms are clean and quiet, and the bamboo forest is right outside the window. There's also a large balcony facing the bamboo grove, perfect for evenings with drinks and conversation with my loved one. The restaurant overlooks the mountains, offering different views at different times of day—it's like a painting. Besides the vast bamboo forest, there are orange groves, vegetable gardens, and a cute, well-behaved dog—a truly idyllic and peaceful pastoral scene.

Hunan men seem to be very good at this; several Hunan friends I know in Shenzhen are also excellent cooks! 3. The manager is very experienced in tourism and can help you choose the best and most suitable routes, avoiding peak season congestion! Crucially, they can also get cheaper tickets. 4. Convenient transportation. The owner provides a high-end business vehicle for pick-up and drop-off from the scenic area gate to the guesthouse. 5. This is very important. For out-of-towners, this effectively avoids the massive crowds at the East and South gates during peak seasons. This is the most important thing to note when visiting Wulingyuan during Golden Week! Otherwise, you'll be queuing for hours to enter the mountain and queuing until midnight to descend! Staying at a guesthouse near the West Gate allows you to avoid peak travel times! Therefore, I highly recommend it!!!

The guesthouse located near Ximen has a wonderful environment with both cats and dogs. The dog even comes out to greet you at night—it's incredibly friendly! There's also a large swimming pool on the first floor, perfect for children. Next to it is a bamboo grove, and a few minutes' walk away, there's a wheat field—perfect for taking photos. The rooms are clean, and the owner is very welcoming. They can help plan your route based on your needs, avoiding crowds, and they also offer discounted packages. Overall, a very good travel experience. Ximen is quite far, and the road up the mountain is a bit difficult. The owner can provide a shuttle service. There aren't many restaurants nearby, so you can eat at the guesthouse or drive out to find food yourself; it takes about an hour and a half. My only suggestion is to improve the service. For example, please explain things like room precautions. There are many mosquitoes in the mountains, so please prepare mosquito repellent and mosquito coils in advance. Don't keep asking. When we left, we saw an electric mosquito repellent liquid behind the TV, but we couldn't find a plug. The toiletries were in a basket without any clear label, and we didn't see them either… The owner said the spring water could be boiled and drunk, but we only found out when we asked because there was no water in the room. However, getting into the scenic area is very inconvenient; you can only enter from the west gate, and you have to take the Yangjiajie cable car to enter and exit. If you plan to visit the scenic area, staying here isn't as convenient as staying at other gates.
