The location is very nice and the service is amazing. You are very close to the park which is very convenient. The rooms were nice but the bathrooms were a bit less. The water pressure was pretty low or a bit too cold. The tiles were also not really clean. The hotel itself is nice, you can pool and have a nice time with your friends and the staff is really great.

The hotel is not a bad property overall. My room was simple but spacious and I particularly enjoyed the bathtub. However, I felt the hotel had seen better days. By Chinese standards, I found the property outdated, esoecually with the rate they charge. They have visible signs of wear and tear in several areas. There were a few aspects of the stay that could be improved considerably. Noise levels were one of my main concerns. The rooms do not appear to be adequately soundproofed, and there is a play area on the ground floor where guests were frequently playing games, shouting and making considerable noise. This was quite disruptive, particularly when trying to relax in the room. The afternoon tea arrangement was also rather inconvenient. The afternoon tea area is located in a separate building, which makes it particularly inconvenient to reach when it is raining. More importantly, the seating is positioned directly within the reception waiting area, meaning guests arriving and departing can see you while you are having afternoon tea. I found this setup quite unusual and lacking in privacy. Amenities should be given in an appropriate area. Better even at the breakfast area than reception. Also, they didn’t bring my welcome fruit basket until I asked The service experience was mixed. The person responding to messages via WhatsApp was attentive and responsive, which I appreciated. However, the face-to-face service from some members of staff was noticeably less welcoming. Communication was often very brief and transactional, with little warmth or friendliness. At check-in, the first gentleman who assisted me actually told me that I had no reservation. Fortunately, another colleague subsequently took over and located my booking. My biggest concern, however, was the approach to social media and activity sales. I found it inappropriate for hotel staff to use interactions with guests to promote their personal social media accounts. David sent me multiple messages asking me to add him on Instagram so that we could communicate there, which I found unusual and unprofessional. In addition, the person responding through the hotel’s messaging channels repeatedly encouraged me to book activities and purchase tickets. While offering assistance with activities is perfectly reasonable, the repeated promotional messages became uncomfortable and made the communication feel more sales/commission-focused than guest-focused. It’s felt like staff earn commission to sell activities hence why they keep insisting on selling them. Overall, the hotel has some positive qualities, particularly the spacious rooms, views and bathtub. However, the outdated condition, noise levels, unusual afternoon tea arrangement, inconsistent service, and repeated social media and activity promotions prevented the experience from feeling as polished and professional as I would expect from a hotel of this standard.

If I could rae higher I would! Especially for the staff who work there - so helpful, so friendly,super proactive in helping also which meant their advice saved us money in places. Stunning views from the room and an amazing location for Zhanggijajie national Park! The fact we could walk there was such a bonus. 10/10 would recommend to anyone staying in Zhanggijajie

There were a few things we found could be improved during our stay. The hotel is somewhat outdated and a little worn in certain areas. However, the room itself was in good condition, clean and looked just like the pictures, so we had no complaints about the room. It is also worth being aware that toilet paper cannot be flushed down the toilet and instead has to be disposed of in the bin. The bin in the bathroom was an open one, which was a little challenging for us as we come from the West and are simply not used to this setup. We also tried some of the food available to order at the hotel, but unfortunately this was not one of the highlights of our stay. The fries were very sweet, and the pasta was quite bland compared to what we expected from the pictures. Breakfast was adequate, with a few Western options such as toast, croissants, two types of eggs, yoghurt, butter and jam. The majority of the buffet was Chinese food, which is of course understandable, but there were limited Western choices. On the positive side, the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly throughout our stay. They helped us with our tickets for the national park, and the entrance was only around 500 metres from the hotel, which was very convenient. They also gave us a map of the park and recommended two really good routes for us, which was a great help. Another major advantage was the included transfer from the airport to the hotel, as well as the transfer to our next hotel. This was a huge plus and made our trip much easier. Most importantly, we really liked our room. It was clean, comfortable and in good condition, with an absolutely fantastic view. Overall, the helpful staff, excellent location, convenient transfers and beautiful view made our stay a positive experience, despite the areas where the hotel could use some updating.

Everything was perfect ! Resorts is located 5 min od walk from main entrance to Forest Park. Everywhere you can walk. Around hotel is located local shop and local restaurant with delicious Chinese food. 2 min from hotel you have located coffee restaurant with beautiful view on rice land. Here you are paying for location and view. We travel a lot of China. This hotel have same Chinese standard like all. Don’t compare it to Hilton or Sheraton - this will be big mistake. We will back here of course ! We recommend this hotel !

The resort is on top of the mountain with a nice quiet town vibes however, is quite far from the city area and the main entrance of the avatar mountain so didi cost was definitely on the higher side. However if your looking for a quiet resort like vibes this place is good.

The staff was really helpfull for the itinerary and the room was big and very nice and we can finally enjoy western food :)
