I arrived outside of check-in time, but the owner was kind enough to open the doors for me at 5:30AM. Of course I had told them about my arrival. I also booked a day tour with them. We went to Matisi Temple in the morning and Zhangye Danxia in the afternoon. The rides to both places were very comfortable. It’s a great place for solo travelers, prices are reasonable and service is wonderful.

This place was so nice and super clean/tidy with a very cute aesthetic. There’s a resident cat named Pudding which is a nice novelty, and the hostel is in a great location walking distance to plenty of food, shops and sights. Rooms are spacious with big windows and the owner is so helpful. She speaks English and will send you a list of food recommendations for the surrounding area. They also helped us arrange plenty of sightseeing for a good price! Had a wonderful stay and would gladly go back.
Make sure you try the beef “rice” from the list, it’s so good!!

This has been one of the best places where we have stayed in China. Nice atmosphere, common areas for sharing, clean and beautiful rooms, washing machine and kitchen. And above all, wonderful staff that took care of us. Thank you ❤.
They can also organize trips to Danxia Mountains. Don't miss it!

Really good experience. The staff spoke really good English and helped to book different day tours for a reasonable price. Great place to meet other travellers. The shared room is a bit small but you can manage. I came early around 9am but I was able to check in straight away. The food street is really close but the neighbourhood is quiet. I would come back!

The hostel is very nice and very well located.
Rooms are clean and the hostel offers amenities which are always appreciated.
Price is excellent.
A street food market is just at 5 minutes walking from here

Recommendations and help to organize my stay were great. Friendly, enthusiastic and dynamic service. Location is excellent. Stylish and comfortable facilities. Whether for a night or a week, highly recommend for both foreigners, locals, backpackers or groups.

I had a great time here. Everyone was super friendly and helped organise trips to the various sights around Zhangye. This made everything very convenient and saved a lot of travel time. They also send you information about the places to visit and eat on check-in.
The hostel is very close to the Big Buddha Temple and museum, so very convenient for seeing sights in the city itself. It was also very clean and had lots of space and laundry facilities. Highly recommended overall!

This is definately the place to stay in town - they can organize group tours to the sites far from the city center, and it's a really social and interesting place!

This must have been the best hostel I've ever been to. The host and service was so good, very kind. I highly recommend it.
The only drawback for me was the bed, I didn't feel it was comfortable, but other than that the experience was so great. Thank you!

This hostel has a little kitchen which provide microwave oven and refrigerator for guests to use. But beware, there is notice telling guests some facilities may have charges.
Laundry is available with charge on top floor.
The proprietor also introduced shared vehicle transportation to Danxia Geopark, which is famous in ZhangYe city.

Overall, the hostel was quite nice. The beds were very comfortable, the airconditioner worked well, and there were lockers available. The staff was incredibly nice and did their absolute best to make you feel welcome. They truly went above and beyond. My only complaints are with the toilets and the tours. The upkeep of the toilets is a little slow, which results in there almost never being any toilet paper and having to bring your own toilet paper everytime you go to the toilet, which was quite annoying. The hostel also offers a wide variety of very interesting tours for quite reasonable prices, however they are sometimes quite vague about the pricing. I went on a tour and they forgot to mention that the main activity of the tour was not included in the price, which resulted in me being surprised to have to pay another 300 something yuan on arrival at the location. If I had known the original price beforehand, I likely wouldn’t have gone on the tour. So please ensure that you know what is included in the trips to not be confronted with unexpected costs. However, the staff felt incredibly guilty about the misunderstanding and tried their best afterwards to make up for it, so I truly don’t blame them. It’s just something I want to put out there so others are aware. Overall, I would really recommend this hostel!
