Three years later, I came to Yangzhong again to eat puffer fish, and my fond memories are still of Fairs Jinling Hotel.
There are large parking spaces on the ground and underground, which is safe and convenient. The hotel has complete facilities, first-class service, rich breakfast, scientifically equipped gym, and average equipment maintenance. Some equipment is damaged and needs to be repaired and replaced in time.
Opposite the hotel is Wuyue Plaza, where there are many supermarkets and restaurants. 2.4 kilometers away from the hotel, there are several old restaurants specializing in puffer fish, which are worth trying.
If you want to eat pufferfish, come to Jiangsu. If you want to eat pufferfish with white sauce, you must come to Yangzhong.

My children took the high school entrance examination these days, and we booked a deluxe standard room for 3 days.
It is about an eight-minute drive from the test center. It is very convenient to eat and buy things around the hotel, and there is a Suguo supermarket community store next to it. After the first day of check-in, the sound of the square dance downstairs was a bit noisy. After explaining the situation to the hotel front desk, the front desk manager was very enthusiastic to help us upgrade to the executive suite that is not facing the street! Really touched ♥ The breakfast is also very rich, and the little friend is very satisfied 🌷 The uncle in the hall also wished my little friend a successful exam! The service is really attentive! I will stay again next time I have the opportunity!

GGuest UserThis is our first time to Zhenjiang. This hotel is within 10 minutes taxi ride from Zhenjiang railway station. On 27 Dec 2023, we arrived late at night and all the shops nearby the hotel have already closed. So, no dinner. The reception staff, Fang Rong and 张师傅, took good care of us by offering snacks and carried our luggage into the room. The hotel’s location and environment are fantastic! It is located at Xijindu ancient street where you can stroll along the ancient street. The museum and old British consulate are within walking distance from the hotel, through the ancient street, past a 观音 cave. Another tourist spot, Jinshan 金山 is also within 20 minutes walk from the hotel. The hotel’s breakfast is delicious and good value for money. The hotel’s room is very clean, very comfortable and very nice. The hotel’s staff Steven is friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable about the area. Upon check out, we got a small trinket as souvenir. I had a pleasant stay and will definitely choose this hotel again. Thank you all for the outstanding service and warm hospitality during our stay.

AAnonymous UserHonestly this is the best hotel I stay during my whole trip in China. Once I enter the lobby to check in they serve us with a tea. One of the lady also know how to speak some English which is good for foreigners. They don't really question us that much regarding our visa like any other hotel. The lobby is also spacious and very nice interior. The room I book for 3 people is so big too it can fit for 4 people. We were given the 8th floor so we get the view of the front of Nanshan. The laundry area is really nice, everything is there! The laundry detergent, the iron. And what I like the most is they have laundry services in which the aayi will help you do your laundry and even fold them for you! 🤗 In our room we also have a sofa which is great! I also ask for a late checkout but they don't have problem with it at all. After check out they gave us another bottle of water. Overall this is the best hotel I've had so far and will definitely stay here again when I came to Zhenjiang!😍 5 STAR!!

GGuest UserAll good except the room service, which I was forced to use, as I had to work late from my room. Ordering was not at all simple (having not spotted the QR code notice on the fridge work top. But response was swift, so too was delivery of the order. However, the ”Ceasar Salad” was sorrowful! Lettuce leaves awash in some sort of watery white fluid, with no discernable taste, some croutons and a few pieces of dried bacon. Especially disappointing given how lovely the fruit and vegetables are most of the time in China. Main course ”Lemon and Herb Chicken” should have been listed as ”Lemon and Herb Skin and Bones”!!! There was virtually NO actual chicken meat. Roated tomatoes and asparagus were lovely, Dessert was uninspiring, but compared to the salad and main course for sure the best course. The Wine? Completely undrinkable. Opened, poured a small amount to taste, spoilt. It happens, sadly! Would be a good idea to open the wine to test before serving

GGuest UserAlthough this hotel has a good facility, its management left me with very bad impression. First, it asks customers to pay unreasonably large amount of deposit though the hotel room has been fully paid. I booked three rooms with two of them fully paid and one unpaid for three nights. I was asked to pay 4000 yuan though the room rate is ~ 650/night. This sounds strange to me compared to other hotels I have stayed. Second, I forgot to return two room key cards and didn’t realize this until I arrived in the train station. When I called the hotel, I was told I will be charged 50 yuan for each unreturned key cards, or they could not give me the deposit until I mail the key cards to them. I have never heard of such an unfriendly policy for any modern hotels. Overall, I didn’t get good experience at this hotel.

It is too difficult for my sleep-difficult family. The baby fell asleep. If there is a problem with the door lock, it can be repaired and solved at that time.

My stay was very comfortable and enjoyable.
HOWEVER, there is only one small problem.
When you book a room, please check very carefully if the room you are booking has a window or not. On the Trip.com site, it says; 'Has a window' 'Partially has a window' 'A fixed window' or something like this. Not only see some photos of the rooms on the website, but also carefully check if the room you are booking surely has a window or not.
When I checked-in, I was told that my room had NO window. It was O.K. if you were in your room only to sleep, because the room is large enough, clean enough and comfortable enough. Nothing is wrong with the room itself at all. However, I found on the following morning that I could not see how the weather was like until I actually went outside, because I could not see outside from the window.

AAnonymous UserThe location of the hotel is excellent! Walking distance from the train station and many restaurants and stores in the area. The breakfast was really delicious and the variety was a good balance between western and Chinese. The rooms were a little small considering the price, but they were very clean. There was a problem with the AC system, because the settings could not be changed from heat, and we were getting extremely hot. The bed was so comfortable. It made us want to sleep so long. The front desk clerk was not very friendly or welcoming. He kept coughing and therefore was a bit hasty to check us in. Overall, I would say the stay was enjoyable purely for a few amenities, and I would recommend the hotel, but not for a long stay.
