The biggest feeling of this trip to the town is that I chose the right hotel. Crowne Plaza really makes people feel at home! The hotel is magnificently decorated, with a superior geographical location. It is very close to the ”Three Mountains and One Ferry” and has convenient transportation. Wang Ting, the hotel housekeeper assigned by Ctrip for us, contacted us before we left~ The service attitude is very good! After arriving at the hotel, the staff are very warm and friendly~ Especially Lu Xinran, the head of the lobby concierge department, is particularly good~ Polite and very professional! He introduced some local customs and customs of Zhenjiang to us. Gu Jia at the front desk also has a very good service attitude. The hotel's breakfast is also very rich and meets the needs of the journey. The aunt who cleans the room is particularly kind. By the way, the hotel room type is also very NICE, and you can directly see the super-large Jinshan Lake river view! The photos are also very good. In short, I am very satisfied with this hotel. At night, there was a small problem with the air conditioner, and the staff solved it as soon as possible, which is also worthy of great praise. Choosing a good hotel will add a touch of brilliant color to the journey. Crowne Plaza Zhenjiang is still very good!

Zhenjiang is my father's hometown. I once passed by on a business trip in the late 1990s. I remember that time I only visited Jinshan Temple. So this time I came to Zhenjiang after retirement. I read the Zhenjiang travel guide on Xiaohongshu, which recommended staying in hotels in the Xijindu area. So I searched on Ctrip and found that there were many hotels with good locations in Xijindu, and it was almost difficult to choose. After comprehensive consideration, I chose Shuxiang Xinbo Hotel. Among the hotels with a rating of 4.5 or above, I prefer the design style of the hotel, which is a combination of traditional and new designs. I was just worried that there would be no parking spaces for self-driving tours (the reviews said that there were few parking spaces at the door), so I contacted the hotel in advance to confirm the parking spaces. They said that there were still parking spaces at the door, and the hotel had another parking lot nearby, so there was no need to worry. Fortunately, we were able to park at the door for the two nights we stayed. Probably because of the off-season, I booked a double bed room, and the hotel upgraded it to a suite for free, with an elevator (the hotel was renovated from an old house in the Republic of China, and the building is about 4 or 5 floors high). The suite has a living room + cloakroom + standard king-size bed room. The space is relatively large and clean. The 2-meter-wide bed has good bedding, soft and comfortable, very nice. In addition to the standard toiletries, the bathroom is also equipped with a bathtub film. This is the only one we have seen in the multiple hotels we have stayed in since we drove all the way from Guangzhou. For this reason, this is also the only time we dare to take a bath in the bathtub in the hotel to relieve fatigue. The plastic slippers in the room need to be called to the front desk (this is the experience gained from this self-driving tour). The little robot will send the slippers up and will notify by phone. It is silent when walking and does not disturb people. It is very cute. Looking at the comments, there are criticisms about the electric control switch in the room. Sure enough, the design of the electric control switch is too alternative and niche, and the operation is not intuitive. You can only grope for the buttons. It feels that it is not suitable for hotel use, especially for the elderly. However, the switch is a small flaw and has little impact. Overall, the hotel experience is still very good and cost-effective.

The location is very convenient, next to Zhenjiang Station, it is convenient to go to the surrounding attractions, and there are many choices for eating nearby. The rooms are clean and tidy, the staff is attentive, breakfast is purchased separately, 20 yuan/person, and there are many varieties. Unfortunately, my big bed room is made up of 2 beds. The bed is too soft and feels not so comfortable.

The location of the hotel is excellent! Walking distance from the train station and many restaurants and stores in the area. The breakfast was really delicious and the variety was a good balance between western and Chinese. The rooms were a little small considering the price, but they were very clean. There was a problem with the AC system, because the settings could not be changed from heat, and we were getting extremely hot. The bed was so comfortable. It made us want to sleep so long. The front desk clerk was not very friendly or welcoming. He kept coughing and therefore was a bit hasty to check us in. Overall, I would say the stay was enjoyable purely for a few amenities, and I would recommend the hotel, but not for a long stay.

The place is not so bad, it’s in a good location close to many good places, but they must really work on improving their hygiene… under the bed was dusty yet the bed in a corner I was suffocating

Great hotel with good amenities. Not far from downtown fun. Breakfast was good & hot. Staff was super helpful friendly & professional. Shower and bathroom had more than enough room (a pet peeve of mine is a tiny bathroom). Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel to a friend. Great deal for the price

Uniquely designed, feels very western. Staff was great and had advanced knowledge of English. Beds were so comfy. Lots of shops and restaurants south of the building. Wifi was fast. Windows we’re big. Only thing I didn’t like was the breakfast hawker outside of the lobby. It was so loud and violent that I thought it was a demonstration lol. I have the feeling that this is a daily occurrence so if you don’t want to hear yelling and banging pans for an hour every morning request a room on the east side. Even still, this place is fantastic and I recommend it

I have to say that the location of the hotel is really good. It's on the south side of Xijindu Ancient Street, or it has been integrated into a part of Xijindu. Whether it is day or night, many landscape paintings can be taken. Hotel facilities are good, the room is very large, the service is very intimate, not yet to the store, three days in advance, the service staff Xiao Ren contacted me, gave a lot of intimate tips, also answered my travel questions, sent me some guides and good dining suggestions. In the morning, Xijindu, no one around, is really beautiful. Breakfast can go to Zhenjiang pot cover noodle tasting hall, or Chunshunhe, eat it yourself, it is OK. There are also many other stores, all good, friends who are not nervous about time, you can try a few more.

The hardware is very good and the room is also very large. Because it is in the park, there are not many tourists, and it seems that most of them are on business trips. The room is cleaned very cleanly, and I also saw that some rooms were disinfected after cleaning with machines, including a wall-mounted disinfectant spray next to the toilet. In addition to the fruit plate sent by Ctrip, there are bread, yogurt, and even warm Tremella soup at the bedside! There is a gym and an indoor swimming pool, and there is a free self-service laundry room in the business building opposite. There are also many varieties of breakfast, especially Chinese breakfast, which tastes very good, and there are local specialty pot cover noodles. In general, it is a great value for money and a very satisfactory experience.
