I saw the pictures uploaded in the comments were very beautiful, so I tried it with a try mentality. The hotel recommended by the website is really good. The space is large, much larger than similar hotels. The bed is 1.8 meters long, with brand new bedding, which allows you to fall asleep easily. The hotel's toiletries are also very complete. The hotel also has free parking spaces, and the windows are very large and ventilated. The price is also very affordable. I personally think it is much better than those chain hotels. The most important thing is that there is a laundry room, which is really affordable. Overall, it was a very satisfactory hotel trip. I will come again next time! The service of the hotel staff is also very good and enthusiastic! ! !

The bedding is clean and comfortable, the mattress is very comfortable, and I slept very well. When I ordered takeout, a robot delivered it to the room. In the evening, I sat in this rocking chair here to have afternoon tea and watch the sunset. It was so comfortable. I really like the design of this suite. DDaniel LukeBack at this hotel however the woman receptionist is SO SO SO RUDE, has no patients, bad manners, she nearly tore my passport as she couldn't get it to scan on her computer, left a big crease on my photo page, this is an official document...
She called up our room to apologize but she lacks manners and seems can't work under pressure. Sort out your reception staff, if too busy employ more people on front of counter and awaiting 45 minutes to check in is not acceptable plus expecting a 5 star review, are you crazy?????
However apart from the check in issue due to an angry Receptionist whom should be representing the company and first impressions always count the hotel is lovely, I would come back again but not to see the angry receptionist, left a sour mark in my mouth

GGuest UserStayed for one night here. Was able to check in early at no charge as room was available. Fantastic location, part of a large mall and plenty F&B options available. Room is decently sized and offers good value for money. Near metro station and many bus services stop here.
There is a Hilton nearby, part of the same mall but the price is double of Lavande.
If you walk further can explore local produce market and eat like a local.

OOtautahianNOTE FOR NON-CHINESE: I was able to stay here in the end, but the process was complicated. At check in, guests should scan a QR code and fill in a form that completes the registration process with the local police station. As at December 2023, there was no field for non-Chinese ID. The check in staff told me it wouldn't be a problem, but an hour later I got a phone call from the police telling me registration wasn't complete. Finally, the check in staff and police had to talk twice on the phone, and the police eventually completed the process on their end. I am still not sure whether this was simply an issie with my registration, or if all non-Chinese guests would face the same situation.
The hotel itself is basic but fine: quiet, next to a pretty riverside, about a ten-minute walk from the main pedestrian street.

The first impression while i got to the lobby i was a bit disappointed and afraid that it might not as good as its picture. Because the lobby is quite old and smelly (cigarette)
But when i got into the room, it is very nice. I bet they just renovated the room.
Oh and another plus point is, they have a washing and dryer machine that we can use for free! Staff is also helpful.. housekeeper was friendly.
Overall I recommend this hotel! Location also very strategic. It has many supermarket and near to the night market and shops.
We can get around by pedicab! Which is easier and cheap! I recommend you to pay auntie pedicab to take you tour around the city zhongshan..
