I booked a hotel for a friend on a business trip and the feedback was pretty good. There is a parking lot with charging piles at the entrance of the hotel, and the room facilities and toiletries are all complete. I will choose this hotel when I visit Zhongshan in the next year.

There are many varieties of breakfast, the room is big enough, the view from the large French window is very good, the soundproofing is very quiet, I had a good sleep, I have to praise it, hot tea and daily necessities in the lobby are free to take, mineral water is free to drink. The service of the lady at the front desk is also very good, with a smile that leaves a very deep impression on people, the parking lot is big enough and easy to park, no worries about finding a parking space, the most recommended one is not far from the highway intersection and easy to find.

The room is large, like an old hotel, but there is no peculiar smell and it is very clean and has good lighting. The front desk clerk was very enthusiastic and had a great attitude. Both the location and the hardware facilities are great.

Back at this hotel however the woman receptionist is SO SO SO RUDE, has no patients, bad manners, she nearly tore my passport as she couldn't get it to scan on her computer, left a big crease on my photo page, this is an official document...
She called up our room to apologize but she lacks manners and seems can't work under pressure. Sort out your reception staff, if too busy employ more people on front of counter and awaiting 45 minutes to check in is not acceptable plus expecting a 5 star review, are you crazy?????
However apart from the check in issue due to an angry Receptionist whom should be representing the company and first impressions always count the hotel is lovely, I would come back again but not to see the angry receptionist, left a sour mark in my mouth

The room was ok, but the service was average. The lady at the front desk rarely smiled, and the room service really gave me a bad impression. My family came with a child, and I just wanted to get an extra set of children's toiletries. However, the room attendant's attitude and tone were as if I had offended her. She was very reluctant to give me the things, and even if I asked a few more questions, she just left in a hurry. I was really surprised by the service.

The price is not expensive in the city, and the location is good, right on the pedestrian street. The owner is also nice, and there is no extra charge for overtime for three hours, which is really good. The accommodation environment and hygiene are much better than those of the same price express hotels, and the service attitude is standard, which is worth recommending.

Stayed for one night here. Was able to check in early at no charge as room was available. Fantastic location, part of a large mall and plenty F&B options available. Room is decently sized and offers good value for money. Near metro station and many bus services stop here.
There is a Hilton nearby, part of the same mall but the price is double of Lavande.
If you walk further can explore local produce market and eat like a local.

GGuest UserThe overall experience was not so great. Not sure it's because we checked in quite late at night. There was no one at the lobby reception, and we waited a while when someone realized our arrival. The handwriting of the room number on our room card envelop was poor, and hence we went to the wrong room and it's quite embarrassing.
The size of the room was quite small as compared with similar room rate at other hotels in Zhong Shan. However, it's neat and clean, the breakfast is good and the location is excellent.

I also appreciated the fast and reliable Wi-Fi, which allowed me to stay connected and work efficiently from my room.
The hotel’s facilities, including the fitness center and business lounge, were top-notch. I found the business lounge particularly useful for catching up on work in a quiet, professional environment. The staff there were attentive and provided excellent service.

OOtautahianNOTE FOR NON-CHINESE: I was able to stay here in the end, but the process was complicated. At check in, guests should scan a QR code and fill in a form that completes the registration process with the local police station. As at December 2023, there was no field for non-Chinese ID. The check in staff told me it wouldn't be a problem, but an hour later I got a phone call from the police telling me registration wasn't complete. Finally, the check in staff and police had to talk twice on the phone, and the police eventually completed the process on their end. I am still not sure whether this was simply an issie with my registration, or if all non-Chinese guests would face the same situation.
The hotel itself is basic but fine: quiet, next to a pretty riverside, about a ten-minute walk from the main pedestrian street.

CChristianWe visited Zhongshan for 2 days to have a look at the real estate and potential investment. The Crown Plaza is welll located not too far from a large nature park where we took a run in the morning.
The service is outstanding in particular during the morning breakfast, where an attendant brought me a cappuccino I did not ask for, he just presented it saying this is on the house! This was a nice surprise! The room is as expected of a Crown Plaza, very nice and clean.
From the pictures on the website, I was excited to see the pool and the tennis court, but was a bit disappointed since the pool looked deserted (off season?), and the tennis court looked worned out.
Nice hotel to spend the night.

The first impression while i got to the lobby i was a bit disappointed and afraid that it might not as good as its picture. Because the lobby is quite old and smelly (cigarette)
But when i got into the room, it is very nice. I bet they just renovated the room.
Oh and another plus point is, they have a washing and dryer machine that we can use for free! Staff is also helpful.. housekeeper was friendly.
Overall I recommend this hotel! Location also very strategic. It has many supermarket and near to the night market and shops.
We can get around by pedicab! Which is easier and cheap! I recommend you to pay auntie pedicab to take you tour around the city zhongshan..
