What can I say, it was just an amazing stay, it’s one of those places you have a positive feeling from the moment you book your stay. It’s hard to get to this island as you must take 2 ferries from Zhoushan main island as well as a few covid tests, but when you get there is just worth it. The host (Kan) was so very helpful from the very beginning, from helping is with the Didi from Ningbo to Zhoushan, to ferry times and meals. Kan organized a set lunch for us 4, cooked by the best chef in the island, and the seafood was to die for, a proper feast of the gods. The hotel is probably the best looking one in the whole island, it clearly stands out from all the others. Only a 2-minute walk from the port, but in a very quiet area. The sunset is just spectacular, and both the rooms we booked are facing south/southwest which gives it a great sun exposure. The rooms were very comfortable as well as the beds. Breakfast was delicious and they have an Italian coffee machine which is great for coffee lovers. The island is quite small, so al 4 of us went on a hike for 3 hours and the views are to die for, there’s a very clear path around the island, which is also well maintained with clear signs, make sure to do it. The hotel also has a terrace on the ground floor with tables and a chill area which is perfect if you just want to chill and watch the sun set with a glass of wine/beer. We will all be coming back for the summer for sure, can’t wait!!!

The boss was very good. Come and go to pick us up in person and help us with our luggage. I fished with my boyfriend in the afternoon and took it back to the hotel aunt to help with processing. It is no exaggeration to say that the aunt's craftsmanship can open a hotel private kitchen! Super authentic and super delicious! Sitting on the roof at night is very pleasant. After dinner, I also chatted with the boss. There is also a cute dog, Xiao Strawberry. The general manager is also very dedicated. The proprietress is very talkative, loves to share (like), Wan Chai (cat) and the island (dog) are also super cute, especially the smart and hospitable island, will accompany us out to take pictures, we also sent us a long journey when we left. The little brother of the hotel also took us to the secret base to see the most beautiful sunset! The happiest thing about this trip was to choose the right homestay. We stayed in a hurry for a day and wanted to stay quietly for a few days if we had the opportunity.

The best thing is that the owner of this shop will take everyone to the island to watch the sunset every day, super beautiful! The inn is very close to the pier. The owner went to the pier to pick us up in person. I forgot to take pictures of the room. The inn has a restaurant with fresh seafood to order. The inn is very close to the internet-famous lighthouse and the filming base of ”See You Tomorrow”. It is a highly recommended inn.

The landlord’s aunt is super enthusiastic. She will call two days in advance to ask if she bought the ferry tickets. The room is also clean. Just after cleaning before check-in, the window will be opened for ventilation to prevent the tide in the house. The island is full of big slopes, but the housekeeper will go to the pier to pick you up and help with your luggage. But I can’t climb up and down. I really can’t climb it myself, but I’m not boring at all when I go back to the hotel. If the landlord’s aunt is not busy, I can accompany you to chat with the sea. I also tasted the craftsmanship of the aunt at night. What kind of snow dish is really not bad. The thief went back to Beijing and wanted this mouth. Hahahahahaha

The Youth Hostel in Miaozi Lake is in the C position facing the sea. You can get there not far from the boat along the coastline, without climbing a high slope. The signs of Dongji International Youth Hostel and Haizi Bar are very eye-catching. The room is stylishly designed, very literary, very clean, and the daily necessities are complete and thoughtful. The owner of the Youth Hostel also took the initiative to call us to inform us of the hotel location, patiently answered the travel routes we asked him about, and their exclusive hand-painted map of the island 👍. We came to play during the Spring Festival, and the brother was very enthusiastic to tell us which shops were open for business. The coffee bar in the Youth Hostel is also very good, and the brother is busy all by himself. Very good travel experience, I hope to have the opportunity to come to Dongji again and stay in the Youth Hostel next time.
