Chambre confortable et rénovée avec goût. Repas du soir moyen niveau qualité prix. La quantité dans l’assiette est à revoir et l’entrecôte dur. Le petit déjeuner très décevant avec sa tresse congelée (dommage car il y a une bonne boulangerie juste à côté), sa charcuterie et son jambon industriels (dommage de ne pas faire découvrir du local) et café à capsules (pourquoi avons-nous pas droit à un vrai café?). Il manquait un peu de variété comme des œufs frais ou de bonnes confitures maison…. On sentait une limitation des coûts !!

Im Rahmen unserer Wanderung durch das Wallis sind wir am Zweiten Tag kurzfristig nach Zinal in dieses Hotel abgestiegen und haben bei dieser Gelegenheit im angeschlossenen Lokal zu Abend gegessen. Als Vorspeise hatten wir eine Walliser Platte zum teilen. Sehr gut, aber hinsichtlich Portionsgröße bitte keine falsche Erwartungen haben - es ist ein “Starter”. Als Hauptspeise haben wir uns beide für den Gänse-Burger entschieden. War extrem gut, aber es ist kein kompaktes Paddy sondern eher pulled-pork (oder pulled-goose); haben nach den ersten Bissen in der Hand auf Messer+Gabel umgestellt 😅 das einzige Rätsel bei dem Essen: was macht man mit der Sauce? Für die Pommes ist sie zu flüssig und beim Burger weiß man nicht, wo man sie hinleeren soll.

Excellent hotel. Very comfortable room with a super shower. Great location near to the ski lifts. Very friendly and hospitable manager and charming staff. Good dinner in their restaurant and nice breakfast. Very good value for money. Looking forward to my next visit.

A charming and professional welcome, a nicely renovated and clean room. The breakfast is really good, with everything you would expect to get a good start to a day of skiing. No doubt, we will come back there during our next stay.

We went to this hotel in August to wander around the mountains. Nice hotel, friendly people. The room No. 14 with the wood very comfortable rustic style. The bathroom had defects: the water did not flow from the sink. The shower was broken and had a lot of mold. I think that with a little more attention this can be easily resolved.

Zinal is a good option or alternative from Zermatt that is less crowded. Place is more serene. However, it is not accessible by train. You will need a bus or car to go there. Great camping site!
