Hotel Ochsen has 2 first-class restaurants. Whilst Au Premier is the best option for special occasions, the less prestigious Bar du Boeuf is highly recommendable for going out regularly. It offers a good choice of set menus at lunchtime and a small but superb list of dishes in the evening. So if you work, are visiting or live in Zug, definitely try it out (weekdays only). Bar du Boeuf offers excellent food and good service consistently, at reasonable prices.

The hotel looks just renovated.
Bathroom products are high quality, I appreciated a lot the refilling idea (instead of one use products). I liked the wood furniture in the room, and the big size bed.
