Hotels near Kloten Train Station, Zurich

The location of the hotel is slightly remote, but there are quite a lot of bus lines around, and it is quite convenient to travel. There is a tram directly to the airport, and a few hundred meters to the bus station on foot; the hotel facilities, sanitation, and service are not bad. In Zurich, where prices are high, the price is still affordable .

Poor service, not recommended to stay

For a business trip, there is a bus stop in front of the hotel. It is very close to the Oerlikon train station. Tram No. 11 can go to the city. The transportation is very convenient. The hotel is very cozy, and the room wallpaper is grass green, which makes people look very comfortable. The front desk guy and restaurant staff are very welcoming. I will stay here again next time I come to Zurich~~~

Love, love, love this place! We were actually sad to leave. Booked it as we wanted a hotel with a kitchenette because we have a toddler to feed. The hotel is of a very high quality (and quite posh, actually). Very professional staff. My toddler loved the space to play. We never ate at the restaurant. Just bought our breakfast from the local supermarkets. So can't comment on their breakfast or restaurant. Has a nice little gym area, lovely big lobby area to sit in and a small outdoor space hidden away too (just go out to the outside restaurant seating area and turn left). All of which we enjoyed! I wasn't sure if the location would work when we booked this, as it's not in the city centre, but it turned out to have so many perks, we would rather stay here than anywhere in the city centre if we came again to Zurich! Perks include being really close to a big train station that can take you to loads of places very quickly, including the airport and city centre, etc. Lots of supermarkets and restaurants within easy walking distance, you're actually spoilt for choice. It's much calmer than the city centre so sometimes it felt like a welcome relief to come back here. Lovely green spaces nearby to take children and it felt very safe. There are 2 laundry rooms but you have to go to reception to book a slot to use them. One of the receptionists gave us tips to use it, which was invaluable as we were short on time. Another receptionist had no clue, and booked us in for too short a slot, just FYI! Can get very busy, so you need to book a couple of days in advance. There is no way to buy single portions of detergent so you will end up buying a household-size pack from one of the supermarkets. None in the hotel's vending machine, as one of the receptionists had suggested to us, unfortunately. We gave our box to reception, so hopefully some guests won't have to buy like we did!

This hotel has a very good location and convenient transportation. It is located in the center of Zurich. It is very convenient for shopping and sightseeing. It is also very convenient for going to the airport. It is recommended for travel and business trips.

Auf keinen Fall würde ich je jemandem dieses Hotel zumuten. Der Preis ist günstig, ja, aber davon sollte man sich nicht locken lassen und lieber ein paar Franken mehr ausgeben. Die Lüftung war so laut dass kein Gespräch mehr geführt werden konnte. An den Wänden waren Blutspuren (????), im WC waren Kotspuren, die Türgriffe wurden wohl noch nie geputzt da sie klebrig und schmutzig waren, es gab keine Handseife, das Bett war kaputt (Kopfteil war tiefer als Fussteil), Nachttische gab es keine und das Bett war wohl nicht frisch bezogen. Der Boden war dreckig und die Haupttür hatte gar kein Schloss sodass jederzeit jeder sich in dem Gebäude aufhalten konnte. Zudem wurde durch die Lüftung ein starker ********geruch und später auch ein starker Zigarrengeruch ins Zimmer geblasen, der den aufdringlichen Thaiessengeruch, der vorgängig im Zimmer herrschte, sogar fast überdeckte. Es gibt kein Personal im Hotel welches man ansprechen kann. Der Lift wirkte nicht sicher, einige Knöpfe schienen nicht zu funktionkeren. Wir haben uns nach kurzem 15 minütigen Aufenthalt dazu entschieden, nicht in diesem Zimmer zu schlafen. Zum Glück ist das auschecken genau so unkompliziert wie das einchecken, sodass wir den Schlüssel einfach nur in die check-out Box werfen konnten und gehen konnten. Dieses ”Hotel” sollte direkt geschlossen werden.

Very nicely maintained hotel in a central location in Thun. Recently stayed a couple of nights in this location and found the hotel to be very well maintained, rooms were clean and less than ten minutes walk to the train station. Location made it quick to walk to train/ferry station to take a very enjoyable ferry ride ride on Lake Thun to then enjoy a day in Interlaken and then the train ride back. Staff that we encountered were great and very helpful answering questions. Highly recommend!

We've stayed at this hotel before, several years ago. A different experience this time. Breakfast not included, and very expensive. Bar and restaurant advertised but closed. There is a minibar in the room, are the items free? Or is there a charge? I have no idea. The hotel has 7 dedicated parking bays for guests. You can't book them and during our stay I only saw some available as we were leaving on Sunday morning. There is some street parking available at 1chf for maximum of 2 hours. The room would have been just roomy enough except we are traveling with our son who slept on the very uncomfortable sofa bed which, when extended, meant we were all edging past each other. The shower entry was so narrow that my wide-shouldered son had to go in sideways. Luckily, we're all quite slender. The room itself is looking very run down and the kettle leaked. Also, not enough lighting: if you want to read, you need to position yourself directly under a light. On the plus side, the location is convenient for trams, close to the centre, there is a Co-op downstairs and a bakery across the road.

Dear EMA House Team (1 Nordstrasse Zurich) I have been staying with you on and off since May 2023. I cant rate you high enough, 5 Stars don't do justice. You are a fantastic team who have accommodated all my plan changes, even when it was at a short notice due to flight cancellations etc. The place is spotless and much better than any hotel in Central Zurich. I don't even think about looking for any other place in the city. I always feel very welcome when I arrive even when it was late at night. The suites are modern, clean, specious and very comfortable. Zürich Marriott is close to the train and bus station in 10 minutes walking distance where all day trips began & ending at. The hotel staff are nice & helpful. Breakfast comes with varieties and their signature Swiss dishes dining at eCHo is highly recommended. We‘ll come back when visiting Zürich again.
