Hotels near PBZ Bibliothek Aussersihl, Zurich

We stayed in both the main hotel and in the guesthouse across the alley and were quite satisfied if both facilities knowing they been renovated within the last year. The main hotel is right around the corner from Zürich HB the rooms feature a nice private bath (new, big & clean) and nice modern styling. The guesthouse as new and stylish as hotels go, but the modular bath/shower unit with its semi-transparent blue glass leaves a lot to be desired when everyone in the room knows what your doing on toilet (very little privacy). We luckily are prepared and carry large binder clips and clipped a bath towel across the glass during our stay. The staff are amazing and extremely cordial. Free coffee/tea is offered 24/7 in the main hotel and on each floor. Guest house residents must go back across the alley to the main lobby. Day tour buses are right across the street for easy access. We would stay again definitely.

We really enjoyed our trip to Zurich and the Boutique Hotel Pltzhirsch was one of those reasons. It is in a very convenient place, with plenty of restaurants steps away. It is clean and quiet. Our room had a beautiful bay window. The management is very helpful and the restaurant breakfast buffet was excellent. We highly recommend this property.

Good service. Staff is friendly and explained everything in details including deposit and tax policy. Things in room like drink are for free.

Zürich Marriott is close to the train and bus station in 10 minutes walking distance where all day trips began & ending at. The hotel staff are nice & helpful. Breakfast comes with varieties and their signature Swiss dishes dining at eCHo is highly recommended. We‘ll come back when visiting Zürich again.

Everything was good but not the location where is not close to the centre station. You have to walk 15-20min to go there. The staff was nice and the hotel have washing machine that you can wash clothes in there which is very convenient for us

Dear EMA House Team (1 Nordstrasse Zurich) I have been staying with you on and off since May 2023. I cant rate you high enough, 5 Stars don't do justice. You are a fantastic team who have accommodated all my plan changes, even when it was at a short notice due to flight cancellations etc. The place is spotless and much better than any hotel in Central Zurich. I don't even think about looking for any other place in the city. I always feel very welcome when I arrive even when it was late at night. The suites are modern, clean, specious and very comfortable. We stayed at this Novotel in Zurich, the Novotel in Munich and the Novotel in Geneva. This Novotel was definitely not as good as the others. The location is fine - it's well connected to public transport (it is located in the business technology park). We had booked nearly nine months in advance and asked for two rooms near each other (we were travelling as a family). We were given two rooms on separate floors at opposite ends of the hotel. It was literally the most far apart that the rooms could be. Reception on check in said that they would change it, then kept me waiting for 45 minutes while they tried to do so. I gave up at the 45 minute mark and just took the rooms that had been initially allocated. The initial person on check in did try and be helpful and gave a good restaurant recommendation. The other person on reception really was not helpful - in the end one of his colleagues stepped in to assist as I think she could see that he was being very unhelpful. Reception was often busy with queues (the reception area is not large enough for the size of the hotel). We were clearly tourist visitors to the city, and no-one in reception advised us on check-in that there was a huge festival in the city taking place (attracts 2 million visitors to Zurich) that was affecting all public transport plus restaurant availability etc. The rooms and the pool were fine. The breakfast at this hotel was very, very average, particularly the hot food items. The breakfast compared very unfavourably to those offered by the Novotel hotels in Geneva and Munich. Check out took a long time, and there did not seem to be a place to drop keys. The staff have very casual uniforms (pants and polo shirt) which also contributes to the whole feel of the hotel seeming like a lower standard. Hopefully Novotel can look at this hotel and try and improve the standard so it is of a similar standard to its other locations. (Novotel Munich in particular was so much better!)

All are very good, health, equipment, service are very good, why Chinese restaurant is not bad, really delicious Hunan food....................................

For a business trip, there is a bus stop in front of the hotel. It is very close to the Oerlikon train station. Tram No. 11 can go to the city. The transportation is very convenient. The hotel is very cozy, and the room wallpaper is grass green, which makes people look very comfortable. The front desk guy and restaurant staff are very welcoming. I will stay here again next time I come to Zurich~~~

Love, love, love this place! We were actually sad to leave. Booked it as we wanted a hotel with a kitchenette because we have a toddler to feed. The hotel is of a very high quality (and quite posh, actually). Very professional staff. My toddler loved the space to play. We never ate at the restaurant. Just bought our breakfast from the local supermarkets. So can't comment on their breakfast or restaurant. Has a nice little gym area, lovely big lobby area to sit in and a small outdoor space hidden away too (just go out to the outside restaurant seating area and turn left). All of which we enjoyed! I wasn't sure if the location would work when we booked this, as it's not in the city centre, but it turned out to have so many perks, we would rather stay here than anywhere in the city centre if we came again to Zurich! Perks include being really close to a big train station that can take you to loads of places very quickly, including the airport and city centre, etc. Lots of supermarkets and restaurants within easy walking distance, you're actually spoilt for choice. It's much calmer than the city centre so sometimes it felt like a welcome relief to come back here. Lovely green spaces nearby to take children and it felt very safe. There are 2 laundry rooms but you have to go to reception to book a slot to use them. One of the receptionists gave us tips to use it, which was invaluable as we were short on time. Another receptionist had no clue, and booked us in for too short a slot, just FYI! Can get very busy, so you need to book a couple of days in advance. There is no way to buy single portions of detergent so you will end up buying a household-size pack from one of the supermarkets. None in the hotel's vending machine, as one of the receptionists had suggested to us, unfortunately. We gave our box to reception, so hopefully some guests won't have to buy like we did!
