🇭🇰 Disneyland food court

You will not be able to last the entire day at Disneyland without food. It is worthwhile to check out what they are offering at Disneyland. There are many push carts selling drinks and snacks and also many specialty restaurants and food courts. If you have a chance to buy their specially curated Disney food items, you can buy it and remember to take a photo for memories. It can be pretty expensive to dine at disneyland but it is worth it. I will suggest you to bring a water bottle with you so you can fill up your bottle at their water dispenser. Also, from Disney's official website, they allow guests ro bring in personal food for self-consumption. *photos are taken before pandemic and HK is not open for travelling yet but I will be there soon :) #hkinsider #liveyourdreams #takethattrip

Middle Road’s Children Playground

I knew there’s a children playground just opposite of K11 Musea and on top of MTR station - East Tsim Sha Tsui but haven’t had time to explore that. Then, the opportunity dropped in. The playground have 2 areas where one is for toddlers and the other one is for bigger kids age 5-12 years old. Toddlers area equipped with sensory boards, spring horses, shorter slides, tunnels and simple stairs. My kids love the big one. Why wouldn’t they? The playground is big, and equipped with zipline, climbing racks, rock climbing walls, swings, slides, wobbly bridge, pathways attaching different parts of the playground etc. Furthermore, it’s not just physically fun! This playground is spacious enough for kids to do role playing (the castles and knights and mystical creatures kind of thing), or just run around playing tag ! We arrived shortly after lunch on a sunny weekday, hence the empty playground. Kids spending approx 2 hours at the playground, not wanting to leave even after I told them we have plans that evening. Shaded: Only at the benches Enclosed: No Toilet and refreshments: K11 entrance just 5 mins away Mommy : ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ My Kids : ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ How to get there: - Tuen Ma Line and get off at East Tsim Sha Tsui station. Exit J1 and take the stairs, or take the lift behind exit K which take you straight to the playground. TIAN TAN BUDDHA

Tian Tan Buddha, the largest Buddha statue in the world, located in Hong Kong, is a popular destination for domestic and foreign tourists. The Tian Tan Buddha known as the Big Buddha is a large bronze statue of Sakyamuni Buddha located on Ngong Ping, Lantau Island in Hong Kong. This Tian Tan Buddha statue in the form of a Buddha sitting cross-legged on a lotus flower is located on a three-story altar. Around the Tian Tan Buddha statue are six small bronze statues known as “offerings of the six gods” which symbolize the offering of flowers, incense, lamps, oil, fruit, and music to Buddha. These six statues also symbolize the Six Perfections (Sad Paramita) namely generosity, morality, patience, passion, meditation, and wisdom. All these factors are necessary for attaining enlightenment. The Tian Tan Buddha statue is 34 meters (112 ft) tall and weighs over 250 tons built from pieces of bronze. In addition to the exterior components, there is also a strong steel frame inside to support heavy loads. It is said that this statue can be seen from the faraway island of Macau on a clear day. If you want to visit Tian Tan Buddha, you have to climb 268 steps to reach the Buddha statue The location of Tian Tan Buddha is also equipped with a small winding road for vehicles to make it easier for people with disabilities to reach Tian Tan Buddha. #themeparks#nationalpark#lakes#beaches#infinitypool
