Every Christmas season, Bath transforms into a snowy fairytale world of ice and snow. As an important part of this season, the ice rink provides visitors with an extremely romantic ice and snow experience. From the moment you put on your skates and step onto the ice, time seems to slow down. As you gradually master your body's balance, you will feel the smoothness of gliding, and every turn and every jump will be full of a sense of accomplishment. The ice rink in Bath is not just a place for exercise, it is also cleverly integrated into the cultural atmosphere of the city. The surrounding decorations often echo Bath's historical buildings and festive atmosphere, creating a unique festive or celebratory atmosphere. While dancing on the ice, visitors can also feel the unique historical charm and romantic sentiment of the city of Bath.

Bath's Georgian Roots: Royal Crescent

This monumental semicircular sweep of residential townhouses is famous for its breathtakingly uniform, palace-like façade. No.1 Royal Crescent is open to the public (most homes on the crescent remain privately owned) and provides a rare glimpse into what life was like for the wealthy - along with their not-so-wealthy servants - in the 1770s. A variety of guided tours, educational events, and themed itineraries are available. #culturalattractions

Bath

The city of Bath is one of the most popular tourist cities in the UK, about 3.5 hours from London by bus. The location is also close to Stonehenge (one of the most popular places in England in the form of large piles of ancient stones). Usually the tourists will take a package trip from London to Bath and then to Stonehenge. The trip to the city of Bath is arguably one of my most memorable travel experiences in England, because this city is so beautiful. In the City of Bath I also found a place that is said to be very frequented by fans of Jane Austin's novels. For those of you who know the name of Jane Austin, the City of Bath was the location for the stories of several of the novels she wrote. There are two of the most famous architectural figures in Bath, namely John Wood Sr. and his son John Wood Jr. They became important figures behind several historic buildings in the City of Bath. One of them is the Royal Crecent (the shape of the building is like a crescent moon), an upscale apartment that is still used by the elite in England. The gardens in Bath are also a must-see. The reason is that there are many art objects such as statues that we can enjoy while taking photos. The best time to go around Bath City is 9am in the bright sun. In England if we choose the wrong day, a very beautiful place will lose its charisma if the weather is not favorable. #bestislandtraveltowns

Visit Bath

Built for pleasure and relaxation, beautiful Bath has been a wellbeing destination since Roman times. The waters are still a big draw, both at the ancient Roman Baths and the thoroughly modern Thermae Bath Spa, which houses the only natural thermal hot springs in Britain you can bathe in. Bath’s compact, visitor-friendly centre is overflowing with places to eat and drink, plus some of the finest independent shops in Britain, making it the ideal city break. Immerse yourself in Bath’s remarkable collection of museums and galleries, and enjoy year-round festivals, theatre, music and sports. Bath's stunning honey-coloured Georgian architecture is straight from a Jane Austen novel – highlights include the iconic Royal Crescent and the majestic Circus. There’s plenty to see beyond the city, too, with stunning Somerset countryside to explore, as well as attractions like Stonehenge, Avebury and Longleat Safari Park. #travelinspiration#awesomepic#historicculture

Bath is arguably the most beautiful city in England

#uktrip Bath is a stunning city that seamlessly blends history, architecture, and natural beauty. The Roman Baths offer a fascinating glimpse into the past, with well-preserved ruins and the famous thermal waters. The Royal Crescent and Circus showcase the city’s architectural grandeur, while Pulteney Bridge, designed by Robert Adam, is one of the most photographed spots in Bath. A short stroll from the city center leads to the Bath Priory, a luxurious hotel offering a peaceful retreat in a tranquil setting. With its charming streets, rich heritage, and relaxing atmosphere, Bath remains an unforgettable destination for any traveler.

Mencintai Dalam Sepi

We chose this hotel due to the location. It is in walking distance from City Centre. The bed and room was comfortable. If you parked your car in the parking lot, you got lucky. Finding parking in Bath is a luxury. The hotel parking lot is a public parking lot and fills rapidly. The breakfasts are typical for Holiday Inn Express and I've never been sure if the eggs are real or not. But it works, it provides sustenance to begin the day without having to find a place that serves breakfast. Driving is terrible in Bath. If you order in the restaurant later in the day, the food is lackluster, and DO NOT order the nachos. I ordered nachos with shredded beef thinking it's hard to mess up nachos. I am not sure what I received. A pile of tortilla chips, a huge wallop of sour cream on one corner, a tablespoon of whip puree avocado? on another corner of the plate, about 2 tablespoons of salsa in a cup. I think there was a wee tiny bit of melted cheese on the plate, it was hard to tell. Oh, and the shredded beef came in a tray to the side. It was in a brown sauce in a mixture of 30% shredded beef and 70% whole white beans and was completely without taste. What a waste of money and it did not resemble nachos by any stretch of the means. I ate 3 chips and left the rest of it. There is an Indian Cuisine restaurant across the street that looked good, along with a hamburger joint and a sushi restaurant. Both those were good day. #themepark#nationalpark#lakes#beaches

Roman Bath

Finally we came in to this Roman Bath! The building have few segments that has museum on it. I'm not really much into history, but I heard this used to be where Roman empire in UK took a bath from rain water. There were also rules apply as in who can took bath here. (no, it's not for us to go and dip in! although it's filled with water.) There's miniature and details of building design, overall place and name of each segment. I'm amazed on how detail it is, until the small figure of men are also inside. It's quite cute and super hard to make for sure. Besides, there are also some example of ruins which come from part of this building. Journey start here, more to discover inside! #createwithtrip #bath #roman #unitedkingdom #uk #exploreuk #historicalsites #urbanexplorer

Aquae Sulis is Real

So Aquae Sulis is not just town name but it's a person. There is his body remains on display, and all the things that Roman people use for day to day. Initially I thought it was just town name, but it seems like the name also came from someone; and how can it have the same surname as goddess? Maybe they are family. Both name end with "Sulis", and this person might be the king/emperor of Roman kingdom during that time. I hate history so I didn't really pay much attention, I adore it's sclupture artifacts and remainings. Imagining what Roman people live like during those ancient time. #createwithtrip #roman #bath #unitedkingdom #exploreuk #historicalsites #urbanexplorer

Famous bridge @ Bath

Old bridge specially designed for Pulteney family in UK. Although it has been rebuilt, design remain same. It's very calming to see the current flows even though that came from the River Avon. I stayed here quite long to enjoy beautiful view and surrounding area. The trees are green despite of cold season before winter approach. I had to wear 2 clothes and 1 jacket to keep me warm. It wasn't as good as the pictures you can find on internet, but still a nice place to hang around. Less crowd because people will go to the Roman bath -literally bath- side instead of stopping by here. #createwithtrip #exploreuk #unitedkingdom #europe #bath #exploreeurope #discovereurope #urbanexplorer
