Broke up a long road trip with a one-night stay. Arrived after 9 p.m. and we were greeted warmly, professionally, and with a smile. Quiet, clean, safe and comfortable. Everything was in fine working order. Free breakfast hit the spot. Loved having a fresh waffle. Other available offerings were cereal, breads and yogurts. Check-out was extremely courteous. Will definitely stay again in the future.

I stayed in 1 of the lodge rooms. it was very nice - clean, spacious, and the bed was so comfortable ! Also a quiet air conditioner was much appreciated. There is a lot to do in the area - the village of Kent, Sharon playhouse, and several antique shops in Millerton (check the times they are open). Also a nature lovers dream - Kent falls, Sharon audubon, and the rail trail in Millerton. Several restaurants nearby in Kent, as well as when pigs fly in sharon and talk of the towne deli in Millerton (local and police hangout 😁).

It’s already very good in such a village.

Our room was very clean and apparently recently refurbished. The room with 1 Queen bed and a couch and a little kitchenette area was comfortable and adequate in size--did not feel cramped like some motel rooms. Everything worked. The AC/heater blew air on the bed all night, which I didn't entirely appreciate. We had a first-floor room and parked outside the door, which is very convenient. There is no elevator to the 2nd floor. Reservations enable you to specify ground floor or 2nd floor and 1st floor rooms cost a little more. There is an outdoor pool, which is closed. The gentleman who checked us in could barely speak English and was hard to understand. No restaurants in the immediate vicinity. Good value; well worth the price for an overnight stop. I would stay here again.

This is an older motel located right next to a very busy highway and frontage road. If you just need a relatively inexpensive place to get a night's sleep, it's an adequate. Everything is old and a bit decrepit. There is highway noise in the rooms in the front of the motel - I suggest bringing earplugs if you need quiet for sleeping. On the positive side, my room was clean and there was an adequate breakfast included with the price of the room.

Beautiful, traditional country hotel with spacious/clean/classic rooms, delicious food in their Tap Room, and impeccable service. What a great change from the commercial chain hotel/motels! A special perk for over night guests was the “Provisions” breakfast, where you can order anything on the menu, complimentary with your room. Have two or even three cappuccinos! :). Front porch is available for breakfast dining, and back porch for dinner. Very close to Lime Rock (a beautiful 10 minute drive through some of the most gorgeous countryside in Connecticut). All in all, an extremely enjoyable stay, with no complaints! It’s a great place to enjoy a quintessential New England weekend, but so close and accessible to NYC/Hartford given its location in Northwestern CT.

I was very pleased with my stay. Came here alone to focus on work (inspired by the low winter rates.) Great fit bc my room was clean, nicely furnished, updated bathroom and, not least, a desk, small fridge, and microwave. Skeleton staff but friendly (hotel was not busy). Breakfast thumbs up as well w coffee, juices, scrambled eggs, meat, cereal, yogurt, pastry, bagel, waffle maker. 24 hr fitness center but older equipment. I saw rooms being worked on/updated during my three-night stay. I'll be back. P.S. I think the longest hotel corridor in the state may be right here lol.

Comfort Inn Wethersfield - Hartford

Let me start by saying the staff was friendly and helpful and the room was pretty clean. The downside of this property is the condition of all of the public places on site. The carpets in hallways were pretty filthy, the elevators needed a thorough cleaning of floors and walls, and the hallways smelled pretty bad. Some of the poor conditions could be attributed to clientele who weren't considerate of the place. One guest set a back of groceries on the floor in the hallway and a bunch of meat juice from a package of something spilled out onto the carpet which only added to the already bad smell. I put a towel against the bottom of the room door to keep the smell out of my room. I don't know if Comfort Inns are individually owned, but whoever has this one clearly isn't interested in keeping the place nice. All carpets need to be replaced since they're beyond cleaning. Like I said though, everyone working there was nice and competent.
