Presidential is an understatement for this superior, modern hotel in the heart of Sarajevo’s attractions, restaurants and pedestrian streets. Our Overseas Adventure Travel tour group was assigned to this hotel. The tour company could not have made a better selection. The room I occupied overlooked the river and the base of a mountain range. The room is beyond spectacular, especially considering less expensive rooms are generally assigned to tour groups. The bathroom features an entire glass wall with curtains to close for privacy. But why? Many of the rooms overlook a busy street and the river. Besides, who’d want to look at a 71-year-old geezer shaving?☺ Windows are insulated blocking cold and street noise. The room is spacious, clean, modern, and has all creature comforts. But beware of the minibar prices. There are small grocers nearby that sell wine for about 6 euros. Buffet breakfast was included for tour group members, so I don’t know if there’s a separate charge for other guests. The hotel staff are amazing and courteous. If only Orlando area hotels could learn from Hotel President Sarajevo.

Was the second time I stayed in this hotel. I had booked the elegance room. Clean as always and very helpful staff. Great breakfast and very various. For me this hotel is the best choice for quality/price.

We stayed here for one night as part of an organised tour in August 2022. The hotel is a small drive out of the old city and the hotel is relatively new. Check-in was relatively quick and you can have some fun on the swings they have in the lobby. There are two stairwells in the hotel, so Reception will tell you which one to take to get to your room. Our room was at the end of the corridor and was nice and large. We had twin beds which were both big and comfy and everything was clean and tidy. Our room had plenty of space, a flatscreen tv, desk and chair and you can also see that the design was made to look as though part of the room had been built on. The bathroom was also large, with a big shower, nice fluffy towels, and plenty of hot water and good water pressure. Breakfast was very good - a good selection of hot and cold food. Plenty of juices, hot drinks and fruit etc. There's a spa and pool that you can use if you want to - we arrived late so just before it closed. The rooftop bar has great panoramic views (see the photo). Overall, I really liked this hotel and so did my friends.

All requests, some challenging we’re addressed and solved with ease and a smile. Location couldn’t be any better situated right up the hill from Pigeon Square in Old Town, one of the more magical places. On earth. That is, I think we’re still on earth.

20 minutes from the airport, 15 euros or so is still very close. 5 minutes from the bus station, 5 euros is almost the same, it is very convenient to go to Mostar. It is also close to the famous Latin Bridge, the Old City and the Yellow Fortress. The hotel sent a bottle of water but no toothbrush slippers.

Almina, Nino and Haris are the heart and soul of this hotel. The kindest, most down to earth people who went out of their way to help me when I left my phone in a taxi in the early hours of the morning. They spent countless hours trying to help me when they had no reason to.I have never received such amazing hospitality like I did at hotel grand. But also being very accomodating and patient with a difficult situation. The hotel should give them a raise because the selfless acts those three did and going out of their way to help guests is what makes a hotel worth staying at. I would come back here if they are still there. Amazing staff. The management team should reward them. It's hard to find workers like them.

This is the best location, very close to the old town. The plane was cancelled from Turkey at that time. The hotel was happy to change it for free to the next day. The overall service was good.

The hotel is a bit away from the ancient bridge, 25 minutes walk, it is recommended to play. But the hotel service is good.

The rooms are big. Breakfast place is so big feels like you are in a camp, I only had boiled eggs, didn’t feel clean. They don’t clean the room or the toilet, they only remove trash. Very basic customer service. Need to improve their service and communication

Just returned for a quick trip and was so impressed by the team at this hotel. It's well located, just a short walk from the Old Town and the suites include a small kitchen which came in handy. From the first email contact through to checking out, the team where unfailingly kind, helpful and just lovely. They even ordered food delivery for me one night as I was unable to use my international phone. Breakfast is included and it's quite a spread - some local dishes as well as eggs, fruit and cold cuts. i also loved the grab and go store in the lobby as well as free coffee or tea all day. A very minor quibble, but housekeeping wasn't as thorough as I would expect but hardly worth losing a star.

A great little hotel. Staff were friendly and the rooms were clean and comfortable. A major big point is the fact the breakfast were incredible. The hotel is ten, I was in a double room and it was more than good. The bathrooms could have a curtain or screen, because everything gets wet when taking a shower, but they are more than correct. The great thing is the proximity to the historic center, walking you can get practically everywhere. You literally go down a block and you are in Bascarsija, which is the nerve center. I would definitely return, for the price, the attention, the amenities, hygiene, and above all the location! To get to and from the airport, the transfer passes right there one block above the plaza, which is a plus too!

This is the first hotel I stayed at in Bosnia Herzegovina and what a great first impression! I am so happy to have stayed at this hotel! The room was clean and the location was amazing! But most importantly, the staff were the kindest sweetest people and so accommodating. I really enjoyed my stay here and wish I was able to stay longer! I highly recommend this hotel! In my mind, this is the perfect kind of guesthouse. Locally owned and operated. Affordable, even for a solo traveller in o sux week tour of The Balkans. Small so you feel like you are a guest, not a number. Valida and Mumois treat you like family. Rooms are spacious, immaculate, nicely decorated and with EVERYTHING you require for a pleasant and comfortable stay, including many things that other hosts sometimes forget like good reading lights, and extra hooks to hang things. Wifi worked perfectly for everything, including streaming a movie. You may choose breakfast and if you do you won’t require lunch with plenty of delicious, healthy options. The location is ideal, close to everything you will need as a tourist. Now I’m spoiled as really, this accommodation is perfect.

The landlord is friendly and caring, the room is clean and tidy, the living facilities are complete, the environment is beautiful and quiet, a few minutes away from the Latin Bridge, the surrounding supermarkets and public transportation, travel to Sarajevo, choose this homestay absolute value!

Hotel Berr is just an exceptional hotel in the heart of Old Town Sarajevo! I really enjoyed my stay here. Location couldn't be better - the hotel is a stone's throw from Pigeon Square (maybe 100 metres at most) and about a 10 minute walk to all of the main attractions in Sarajevo - City Hall, the various mosques scattered throughout the city and the main artery of Old Town (the pedestrian area). There are restaurants, shops, money exchange bureaus (watch out for those with high commission!), cafes and souvenir shops as far as the eye can see. There is no lack to choose from. There is also a medium sized supermarket on the corner across from Pigeon Square, open early and stays open quite late. The yellow fortress is about a 15 minute walk from the hotel and the white fortress is approximately 20-30 minutes uphill on foot. Note that the white fortress is closed indefinitely for restoration but the views of the city from the top of the hill is well worth the walk! The hotel owns 3 buildings - the result of expansion and buy up of other hotels over the years. So your room will be in one of the building adjacent to the main reception areas or it will be in the primary building. This was not at all an issue, but just so guests are aware of it! Note also that there is no lift/elevator in any of the buildings and the stairwells are rather narrow. I travel with only a small backpack, so for me, it wasn't even a concern, but for guests with large/heavy luggage or with mobility issues, be aware that you will need to climb the narrow stairs. Some of the rooms are in an almost ”attic” which might be a problem for some guests. The room was spacious and very clean! Although I was in a single room, there were two twin beds in my room. I believe all rooms have the same setup, regardless of how many guests you are staying in the room. The room was equipped with a desk, a small coffee table, two chairs, a large cabinet to store your luggage and a little electric kettle for boiling water (though no tea or coffee were provided in the room, I would nab instant coffee packets from the breakfast buffet to use the next morning). There were two mugs, a glass water bottle and two glasses. There was no air conditioning in the room, but there was a small fan which was sufficient for my needs. There was a flatscreen tv also in the room with approximately 30 channels available. Mostly local channels, however I was able to find about 5 in English. Some rooms have a mini refrigerator, but mine did not. It would have been a nice perk, but I managed without. The bathroom was very large and ample towels were provided (2 hand towels, 2 massive fluffy bath towels and a bath/floor mat). The bathroom had a large dispenser of hand soap as well as a dispenser of ”shampoo” (it was exactly the same as the hand soap), but I used it on my hair and I didn't have any issues with residue. My only (minor) complaint would be the lack of an enclosed shower (only a very thin shower curtain) wh

Location: It is in the pedestrian street of the old city, the location is particularly good, you can walk to any place in the ancient city you think of in 3 minutes, 200 meters from the corner of Latin Bridge, 250 meters from the fountain, and the mosque is visible to the naked eye. Next to the downstairs is a bistro and a Chinese restaurant, and there are many Internet celebrity restaurants nearby. Hotel service: Objectively speaking, the hotel is very cost-effective, and it feels better than the express hotel. The rooms are spacious and clean. The heating and hot water are especially sufficient in winter. The hotel has breakfast every day, which is very punctual. It should be emphasized that all the service staff in the hotel are super nice! ! ! Especially the blonde aunt at the front desk, she really smiles every day, and she cares about where you go and try to help everything you want. ❤️

The hotel is very close to the ancient city and it is very convenient to see around. The service is very good and the attitude is very good. Breakfast is not very rich, but there are some, nutrition guarantee, absolutely full, the best is to eat fried bread, and ask the guests whether they need omelet every day, very considerate.
