Beside a daily tax fee of $55, that was never mention, they put a hold on my card for $200. A day for amenities or daily charges, TOTAL $800 BUCKS MANDATORY. I was not on property to use any unless it was to sleep in my room. So on check out they informed me it would be FIVE TO TEN BUSINESS DAY BEFORE THEY RELEASED MY $800 DEPOSIT. Now they have had my money for five days & now they want to keep it for another FIVE TO TEN DAYS.. WHO DOES THAT???
With a stay at Brownstone Sea Beach in Nassau, you'll be near the beach, within a 5-minute drive of Cable Beach and Caves Beach. This apartment is 9.4 mi (15.1 km) from Cabbage Beach and 9.5 mi (15.2 km) from Atlantis Casino.
Enjoy the recreation opportunities such as an outdoor pool or make use of other amenities including complimentary wireless internet access.
Make yourself at home in one of the 3 air-conditioned rooms featuring kitchens with refrigerators and ovens. Flat-screen televisions with cable programming provide entertainment, while complimentary wireless internet access keeps you connected. Conveniences include microwaves and dryers.
The hotel room was ok, although it was close to the beach but the room did not feel very humid. The facilities in the room are old and the hair dryer in our room is a bit sticky. Breakfast options are relatively small. There are meats, eggs, bread, coffee, water, fruits, milk and oatmeal, which are almost the same. Five minutes walk from Atlantis Hotel, really close. With the room card and pink card given by the hotel, you can enter the water park of Atlantis. Still very convenient. From Nassau's airport, take a taxi to this hotel for about 45 dollars, 30 minutes. Personally, I do n’t think it ’s necessary to rent a car on Paradise Island.
Hotel point
Close to the central city of Nassau, convenient for sightseeing and reasonable price
Location of the hotel
You can walk to the Queen's stairs for about 5 minutes and to the supermarket in about 1 minutes.
It is convenient because you can go to the center within 15 minutes walk.
・ Ministry of Housing Shaojie
I stayed in a standard single room.
There was a refrigerator and a hanger rack in the room.
It was a little inconvenient because there were no chairs or desks.
Also, the refrigerator was not very cold (failure?).
The washbasin had a toilet, a shower with a bathtub, shampoo, treatment, shaving cream and towels.
・ Shi Shesuojie
The lobby on the second floor was selling places to sit and drinks.
There was a place to eat rice on the 3 floor, and there was a water server, a microwave oven, etc.
Wi-Fi was available at the hotel and YouTube was able to see without problems.
Check-in and check-out days were also available for baggage storage.
Breakfast, dinner
Breakfast is probably only 1 types with bread and * and Polenta. (It was the same menu for 2 days)
Dinner can be selected from two types of hamburgers and chicken.
Breakfast was $ 10 and dinner was $ 12 〜 $14, so I think it's cheaper than eating outside.
No reservation is required, contact the lobby in the morning or at night when you want to eat and pay the fee on the spot. (Credit card available)
Accommodation impression
In Nassau, there is no cheap inn in this location, so it is highly recommended for those who don't want to spend too much money in the hotel!
Also, all the people at the hotel were good people and they were very kind to me as a Japanese.
In a word, I had a comfortable time.
The reception was very kind to try make arrangement about my request.
There is no complain for my room except window(It was not cleaned enough).
I was surprised that there is a microwave oven in yhe room.
In addition, I think this hotel has many other strong points (for example, the location near beach, complimentary breakfast and so on)
Hotel location is nice, 10 min from the airport, private beach and pool etc.. however like everything else in Nassau it wasn't really worth the money. The property facilities weren't great, for €350 a night, there was a small pool bar shack with a limited selection of drinks, limited sun loungers. Our room was fine, but quite small and pretty dated. The staff were all friendly and helpful though and there are a few nice restaurants within a 5/10 minute walk. As places in Nassau go, it's nice, however don't expect value for money or luxury.
We stayed at the Grand Hyatt for 5 nights. We loved the choice of restaurants, pools, shops, the stunning beach (definitely opt for a sea view room!)
The resort is huge. But then it’s balanced out by lots of choice. A few niggles eg. Charging extra for beds next to the pool - these were often left empty (as were all the cabanas) so felt like a waste. They high daily resort fee should cover these costs. Or just have all beds the same good quality?!
The room was lovely, spacious and clean. Just missed things like… a sanitary bin by the toilet, amenities beyond shampoo and soap, no cosmetic removal pads, no spare toilet roll. No notepad and pen even - just basic amenities you’d expect in a standard resort, let alone a high end one.
All in all, it’s a fab place for couples, families with all ages of kids, it’s great for hosting work conventions - they racially have it all, all in beautiful surroundings!
The water supply on the second floor is extremely small, it is impossible to take a bath, and the Internet is unstable. Located on the south side of the island, about 40 minutes drive from the north city center. Car rental is required.

It was a nice stay. They served breakfast at 0730 until 1030. I bought soap from home. They have AC and wifi and were kind people and pool a carribean drinks during the evening. I will visit again whenever I come back
This is a gem within 15 minutes walk of downtown Nassau. The room was clean and the water pressure was strong. There were no coat hangers or hair dryer in my room but they found those for me. Also there was no drinking water provided in the room, I had to get drinking water from the kitchen which was fine. There’s a small grocery store around the corner on the main road. I heard the owner is in the process of putting in a pool which would be lovely during the hotter months.
We had a great time at Goldwyn, really nice resort with a beautiful beach and amazing pool. Good proximity to baha mar and atlantis. Not alot of food options on site but good food. Overall i highly recommand Goldwyn for couples i think its the best hotel and best choice. I highly recommend the sea view room, golf view is not the best due to road and parking.
