"This has to be the most frustrating Hilton hotel I've ever stayed at. When I booked, I specifically requested a high-floor room away from the elevator. What I got was a third-floor room right next to the elevator. To make matters worse, the in-room Wi-Fi was broken. When I called, they said all the Wi-Fi was down and they were working on fixing it, and they even told Ctrip that it had been repaired. But several hours later, after I'd been out, I came back to find it still wasn't working. When I asked again, they just kept saying it was 'being fixed.' I finally lost my temper and had Ctrip complain to them as well. Eventually, they moved me to a high-floor room (22nd floor) away from the elevator, and thankfully, the Wi-Fi worked there! However, the soundproofing was terrible; I could clearly hear the music festival downstairs. The first time I asked to switch rooms, they told me the hotel was fully booked and only one room had a broken phone. After much back and forth, they agreed to give me a new room but claimed the phone was broken. Yet, when I got to the room, the phone was working perfectly, so they were clearly just lying and trying to brush me off. The room itself wasn't very big, and the bathroom ventilation was poor, leading to a strong odor after using the toilet. They didn't even provide bottled water, and I had to call to get a kettle and slippers. I feel like Hilton's service has really gone downhill. I'll definitely be thinking twice before booking with them again."
