Edgewater Hotel

I stayed here during a recent business trip. It is very well located for any kind of downtown activities and it is right by the river with a lovely walking path. My room was not large, but it was spotlessly clean and had everything I could have wanted. The shower was excellent with lots of hot water. They provide a Nespresso machine along with a microwave and a kettle and a refrigerator with real cream for your morning coffee. For the first time ever, I saw a steamer in the room which I prefer much more than an iron. The restaurant, Belly of the Bison, is excellent. If I’m back in Whitehorse I will stay there again.

Good for what it is.
Midnight Sun Inn
4/543 Reviews
The room is very clean and the owner is very welcoming. It’s a good breakfast. It provides a variety of fruits and milk. The self-service kitchen is equipped with all kinds of utensils, which is very suitable for self-service tourists to live here. And the surrounding environment is good, very close to large supermarkets, gas stations, and hospitals.
Sternwheeler Hotel and Conference Centre

I stayed here twice recently. Going and coming from Alaska. The pros are the staff are stellar. The price is pretty good, the rooms are clean. It is centrally located in down town Whitehorse. There is a restaurant on site that was pretty good, unsure if it had vegetarian options? The cons, some of the rooms didn’t have much of a view, inner courtyard that wasn’t much to look at. Of coarse if you like darkness, this could be a plus, especially in a place that has as many hours of light as this area of the world can have.. The hotel is maybe a little older with signs of wear in places. I have and would stay here again.
Elite Hotel "Downtown Center" " Ski & Northern Light Tour"
3.5/58 Reviews
Great hotel close to everything. After doing my research, I decided to reserve Elite for two nights. It was a short taxi ride from the airport where the Yukon taxi driver took all of our bags into the hotel..very thoughtful. The man at the reception was very friendly and was a fast check in as we booked through ***********. he told us where to eat, where to see the sights, etc. He was very helpful. It is an older hotel with a key access to our room. The room was very spacious and included a fridge, electric kettle, coffee maker, fridge, microwave and a bathtub. It was very clean, had 2 queen size comfortable beds. Walking distance to all of White horse. The electric heat was turned off but we called reception and they immediately brought up 2 portable heaters..great service.. would recommend
Raven Inn Whitehorse

This is our third time staying at the Raven Inn, and we always come back for the modern, clean, comfortable rooms and great location! This place feels brand new and is very well appointed. The staff are also very friendly and helpful. This is the perfect place to stay in Whitehorse! Highly recommend and will be back!

Stratford Motel

I had a pleasant stay there in June on our way to Alaska. Nice clean rooms but the parking sucks in front, very tight. The staff was very nice and helpful. On our way back in July we went there again but they were full, so I had to go somewhere else.
Best Western Gold Rush Inn
3.9/556 Reviews
I liked that this accommodation was close to some nice cafes and restaurants and had its own tavern on site. I found the accommodation to be quite dated and the noise here is a real problem you can hear everything. I can also say that for me the bed was not in the least bit comfortable. It was hard and the bottom sheet didn’t fit properly and was already bunched up before enjoying the bed. There was no heat in the room and as a traveler not used to the colder climate in the Yukon I was quite uncomfortable. There is a humidifier that can keep the room at a constant temperature but I was cold the whole time. Due to the humidifier venting through the window I could not lower the blind all the way and found the street light to be very annoying as it shone directly into my room. Between the light, the noise and the cold I didn’t really enjoy my stay in this room. On the positive side there was a coffee pod machine which I did enjoy.
The Yukon Inn
3.6/55 Reviews
My husband and I have traveled the Alaska Highway to the Yukon many times and when we stay in Whitehorse, this is where we stay. The Inn is located in a plaza that has everything you could need with a gas station right across the street. The rooms are clean and spacious, the beds comfy, the bathrooms are clean with plenty of towels. There is a new TV and free wi fi. There is a huge parking lot and the building is very inviting from the outside. There is a restaurant, a lounge, and a bar onsite. The food is good. What more can you ask for? Did I mention that the staff is friendly and accommodating? Enjoy your stay, we always do.
