I was really happy with my stay at this hotel during my trip to Guilin! As soon as we arrived, the staff told us about nearby attractions and even gave us a tour guide, which saved us a lot of hassle. We could walk to all the nearby sights, which was super convenient. The room was clean and tidy, and the bathroom had a separate shower and toilet, making for a very comfortable stay. The breakfast selection was decent and perfectly adequate. Mid-stay, we ran out of toiletries, and as soon as I mentioned it to the front desk, they were brought to our room immediately. The staff proactively asked if we were comfortable, and when we checked out, they gave us a bag for our belongings and extra bottled water. They even thoughtfully provided cooling patches and mosquito repellent when they heard I was going to Yangshuo next. The service was incredibly warm and attentive to detail. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Guilin!

We also truly appreciated the room upgrade — the rooftop jacuzzi room was incredible. Delicious breakfasts and dinners, excellent coffee, cozy atmosphere, and convenient motorbike rental nearby. We didn’t want to leave and would definitely stay again! Recommend 200% !!! 🥰

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Guilin and would highly recommend it to international travelers. The rooms are exceptionally clean, spacious, and very comfortable, making it easy to relax after a day of sightseeing. The hotel is thoughtfully designed and well-maintained, and you can really feel the attention to detail throughout the property. What stood out most was the service—staff were attentive, helpful, and went beyond our expectations to meet every need quickly and efficiently. Communication was smooth, even for international guests, which made the entire stay stress-free. A lovely bonus was the Italian-style coffee machine located downstairs, which served excellent coffee and made mornings even better. Overall, a fantastic experience and excellent value. I would definitely stay here again on my next trip to Guilin.

This hotel is right in the city center. The front desk staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful, giving us tips on local attractions and recommending great restaurants. They even upgraded our room for free! The room itself was comfortable with a great dry-wet separation in the bathroom. It's super close to Elephant Trunk Hill and the Two Rivers and Four Lakes scenic area, both within walking distance. Plus, there's a street food alley right downstairs – very convenient!

I personally think the decor is fantastic and very unique. The owners are all really nice and recommend various attractions and tips. The room decor is also beautiful and distinctive. I think it's affordable and great value for money. The pictures accurately reflect the actual environment of the place, making it perfect for taking photos.

Discovered a hidden gem of a hotel for my trip to Guilin! Its location is absolutely perfect, right in the city center by Rong Lake. The Sun and Moon Twin Pagodas, Elephant Trunk Hill, East and West Alleys, and Jingjiang Princes' City are all within walking distance. Plus, there are electric scooters available for rent right outside, so you can explore all the main attractions without any hassle. The hotel service was incredibly heartwarming. The staff were all so enthusiastic and attentive; they even proactively helped us with our luggage. The lobby thoughtfully provided complimentary fruits and various soft drinks, which you could help yourself to – it's the little details that count! The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of dishes, and I was pleasantly surprised to find authentic Guilin rice noodles and Gongcheng oil tea, truly capturing the local flavors. The restaurant also serves genuine Guilin cuisine for lunch and dinner, which was delicious and authentic. The first-floor lobby also has a gym and a children's play area, so if you're traveling with kids, you won't have to worry about them getting bored or restless. Overall, my stay was a perfect 10, and I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Guilin!

I highly recommend the Guolong Hotel! The biggest surprise was the huge parking lot – there's so much space that both family cars and business vehicles can park with ease, so you don't have to worry about finding a spot. The front desk service was absolutely excellent; the staff were warm and thoughtful, handling check-in quickly and efficiently. They even proactively offered tips for local attractions, which really enhanced the whole check-in experience!

It was a fantastic stay at this gem. Right in the heart of West Street , easy to get to anywhere. We arrived early and our room was not ready. Girls at the reception were super helpful and upgraded us to a beautiful two level room on the 7th floor. Modern , clean , roomy , VERY comfortable bed a nice bath with a nice view. Oh and nice thick towels 👍 Customer Service was 10/10 , I contacted them on Wechat after I booked with many questions and that was never a problem to them. They were also so very helpful to book tickets for us on our arrival for Hot air balloon and Ruyi Peak with a discount price. We wanted to travel around on a scooter, the lovely girl from the reception offered advices and options to hire a longer or shorter distance scooter. Not only that she personally took us to get one. We had a great deal for one to use for the whole day , return before mid night for 50Y . Overall it was a superb stay . If there is one thing they can improve on , maybe an easy instruction on how to use their projector . A very enjoyable stay and I highly recommend it to all . It’s perfectly situated and close enough to everything you need, yet peaceful and quiet, making it ideal for relaxation. The location of this hotel is just perfect in the heart of city centre of Guilin, zhengyang night market, solitary beauty peak, elephant trunk hill just walking distance 10-15 minutes. The hotel is great, the room is spacious and clean, including the bathroom. Our beds are comfortable, the cleaning lady did a good job and very nice, she gave us extra water for us. There is laundry room for guess too and thanks to that facility we bring clean and freshe clothes for our next destination. Breakfast was good as well. They served variety of food, including the specialty of guilin: Rice Noodle soup. Our last day, we couldn't have breakfast but we could take away our breakfast so we packed some food to enjoy on the train to guangzhou. The check in/out process was very smooth. All the staffs were very kind and helpful, specially Jollin. She helped me with direction and when I told her I am IHG member, and because I booked the room through Trip instead of direct booking it couldn't be recorded in my membership she gave me welcome gifts. Thank you Jollin. Our 3D2N stay was perferct. Defitely will come back to HIE.
