The window installation had some flaws, allowing outside air to seep into the room. After I reported it to the front desk, a staff member quickly and effectively used a towel to seal it off. Their problem-solving skills were excellent. However, the elevator is ancient, incredibly slow, and has been continuously malfunctioning for a long time. It's a real hassle for both delivery drivers and guests, especially if you're on a high floor – that's a true tragedy.

Got really surprised about this hotel. A very cute and modern hotel. It's in a very convenient place in the city. Quite near to the train stations with metro and also to some of the hot places to visit in Chengdu like People Square or Cunxi Street. The amenities and the attention to details of the room are next level. They look a lot into sustainability and also offer some free experiences as a gift. The service offered by 小王 has been amazing. He answered all my questions about the city and even offered a free upgrade.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The highlight was definitely the room with the huge balcony area and an outdoor bathtub — a rare luxury in the middle of Chongqing. If you’re booking, I’d recommend choosing rooms with odd numbers, as those face the Jialing River and offer the best views. The room isn’t fully soundproof, but the noise level was manageable even though a few nightclubs sit about 200–300 metres away. For light sleepers, the hotel thoughtfully provides earplugs. One thing we loved was the convenience of contacting the front desk via WeChat. Any request or question was handled quickly without needing to call or go downstairs — super convenient. Breakfast was simple but decent. A special mention goes to the helpful **** gentleman who manages the breakfast area — extremely friendly and attentive. Breakfast starts at 7:30 a.m., and since we had early full-day tours before that time, the hotel prepared “brownie bags” (to-go breakfast bags) for us with bread, yoghurt, and fruit. A nice gesture even though the selection is basic. The dining hall itself is small, and if you’re staying on the 14th floor, you’ll walk through it to reach your room, but it didn’t bother us. Overall, a comfortable stay with great views, convenient communication, and genuinely warm service. We’d happily stay here again — just stick to the rooms with balcony and river views.

The hotel located next to walking street close to Chunxi road, the atmoshpere was so vibrant. Resting here is a true convenience as you can go out for shopping and just come back to drop all the things and go back again. When you feel too much of Mala taste,there is a Lawson right down the first floor which helped a lot. Calling Didi is also easy as there is a frequent use drop point next to the hotel(Maoyi/Maoi shopping center) The receptonists can understand some English but they are willing to help with the translators. Xiao Yue girl that I met on the last day also provided the cute checkout gift ,lovely! On the cons side, the room is only sound proof to next door human voice but the sound of water in the toilet, people moving around or door closing are not. The outside environment of being under construction and loading also quite loud too but if you are a deep sleeper it shouldn't be a problem. The othet cons is the shower water flow is very weak.If you want to wash your long hair, test it first if it's ok for you.

First, the hotel signage name hasn't changed. Tell the taxi driver ”XIPU- HIDDEN CULTURE HOTEL” and you'll be confused. The original name was ”JIANGUO HIDDEN HOTEL /”. Second, you have to take the elevator to the 2nd floor, walk to the restaurant, and then take the elevator again to your room... I met an old Chinese man who blocked my way to my room... The advantage is that it's not far from the IFS building.

I came to Chengdu for a trip and looked at several hotels online before deciding to stay here. The room was pretty good and spacious. The staff provided excellent service, always willing to help. The Roselle tea was delicious, and the service was very attentive. They offer afternoon tea and late-night snacks. The location is superb, right in the city center, within the Chunxi Road and Taikoo Li commercial district. There are many great restaurants and attractions nearby. It's very close to People's Park, and being in the city center makes it convenient to go anywhere. You can reach Chunxi Road Pedestrian Street by simply crossing an overpass. I highly recommend staying here.

The hotel environment is incredibly comfortable. Being on a high floor, the views are picturesque. The 30th-floor restaurant offers panoramic scenery, and their Dandan noodles and 'chaoshou' (Sichuan wontons) for breakfast are absolutely delicious – I especially recommend the dried fish! The front desk staff are also very warm and welcoming, their smiling service is truly refreshing. The greetings we received every day made us feel delightful. I highly recommend this hotel. Its location is excellent, right near Chunxi Road, making it convenient to walk everywhere. I strongly recommend it to everyone. Plus, they have Häagen-Dazs ice cream and afternoon tea in the lobby, which are also fantastic!

great location. walking distance to center. lots of restaurants and shopping around. the only thing is the hotel elevator is outside the door not inside hotel. I did not like when the front desk lady urged me to give 5 stars as review by giving me small souvenir. I want to give honest review because I rely on the reviews on trip.com for my hotel choices this hotel is good bargain.

The room wasn't big, or more accurately, it was a tatami mat, not a bed. It had air conditioning, a humidifier, and an oxygen concentrator. The bathroom was small, and while it had a smart toilet, it was a bit dated. Cleanliness was average, with debris and hair on the hallway and floor. A simple breakfast was provided. The location was okay, near the old street.
