"Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay at The St. Regis Lhasa Resort. A special thanks to front desk staff member Riri for doing her best to coordinate a suitable room according to my request. The professionalism, dedication, and enthusiasm of all the staff at The St. Regis Lhasa Resort, from top to bottom, brought warmth and moved us during our time in Lhasa. There's no distinction of 'high or low' among people; hotel guests and staff simply have different roles and responsibilities. The key lies in how guests' concerns are addressed and the attitude and problem-solving approach of the staff when issues arise. We had booked a basic room, but because I'm sensitive to noise, Riri helped us upgrade to a quieter room. The air conditioning in our room would turn on automatically after being turned off. Around 1 AM, the maintenance technician came back and forth three times. Eventually, they decided to turn off the AC's circuit breaker and fix it the next day (which they did). Before we left, they even sent a small gift as an apology. Breakfast was decent, but I'd describe it as exquisite in presentation, bland in taste, and lacking variety. However, I've also tried meals at the Shangri-La Lhasa, the Crowne Plaza Linzhi, and the Songtsam Bason Co Linka, where some ingredients are even transported from Sichuan in advance due to special circumstances. The taste is generally similar across the board. Given the challenging environment, I believe they've done their best to achieve this level. Regarding some of the room's hardware, there's definitely room for improvement, and the hotel itself is aware of this. I hope to see improvements in the future. "Staying at the newly opened Zhizhi Hotel at the foot of Everest Town was an absolutely perfect experience. First off, it's rare to find a hotel here with its own underground parking garage, and the height limit was very generous, which was great for self-drivers. There are two elevators in the garage that go directly to the lobby and rooms. The front desk staff were incredibly enthusiastic and even upgraded our room. The room itself had a Nordic-style, low-saturation decor, which I really loved, and the layout was very practical. We also received welcome fruit, and the staff even brought us two yogurts, haha. The oxygen supply in the room was excellent and pure. The breakfast restaurant had a wonderful ambiance, with clean floors that weren't sticky at all, and the tables were well-wiped. Just the cleanliness alone is a rare find in a hotel in the ******* region! Plus, the hotel is only a 40-minute drive from the Everest observation deck, so it's very convenient for serious photographers to capture photos of the 'golden mountain' at sunrise. "I checked into the Dekang Hotel on the 24th, and it's a typical Tibetan-style hotel. As soon as I walked into the lobby, I was impressed by the exquisite decor and furnishings. The breakfast was rich and varied, with dishes, meat, eggs, and fruit, plus butter tea, tsampa, and yogurt – the milk was especially delicious! There's also an Indian restaurant on the fifth floor of the hotel, and plenty of other dining options nearby. You can find the famous Lhasa internet-famous Cuomu Liangfen (cold noodles), Lao Chengdu's Sichuan restaurant, and some great ******* restaurants. So many delicious choices, I couldn't try them all! Getting around from the hotel is super convenient. It's a short walk to Jokhang Temple and Barkhor Street, and just a few stops by bus to the East Gate of Potala Palace Square, costing only 1 yuan. This truly lives up to its reputation as a hidden gem for tourists visiting Lhasa."
