"The environment is absolutely fantastic! It's a riverside campsite, and you can tell it's been thoughtfully designed, with clever touches everywhere. We unfortunately spent too much time at the attractions and arrived quite late. The campsite offers a bonfire, BBQ, and Uighur girls dancing. On the way to the river, there's also a splash pad for kids, so we really should have arrived earlier. The only minor thing is the gravel path at the entrance, which seems intentionally designed. You can contact the camp beforehand to have staff help with your luggage, as it's a bit difficult to drag suitcases yourself. Also, the soundproofing in the tents isn't the best, but that's to be expected when choosing a campsite. Overall, it's a great camp, and the breakfast selection is very rich. You can also request an oxygen machine."

"The location is good because it is not far from the expressway, and there are both slow and fast EV charges available at the hotel, the check-in process was not as smooth as other hotels as per my experience, they did not add the Wechat in advance which led to slower communication. The amenities were not good because we booked a room for three, but they only included items for two people, even after requesting for extra drinking water, we only got two more bottles, the washroom was not completely clean because we found strands of hair and the drain was not completely unclogged, it is still value for money based on the price I paid."

"The hotel is located outside the ancient city, about a 20-minute walk away, in an alley off Awati Road. When navigating, make sure to set your destination to Awati Road and enter from that alley entrance, as it's much closer. If you try to enter from the carpet street alley, it's a long walk, which is what happened to me due to a navigation error. So, just a heads-up, and I hope everyone enjoys their stay here!"

"Awesome, I set it early. The date of arrival is a few weeks later, so I entered the off-season. The front desk took the initiative to tell me that the price has dropped, so I will set a new enjoyment of the current off-season price. I will not operate and guide **. . . The price is full! The service is very thoughtful. The bathroom is three separate. There are charging piles more than 200 meters nearby. There is a car wash opposite. Gongliu is a city with good greenery. At the crossroads diagonally opposite the hotel, I have been walking into a comprehensive market next to a community. There are several dried fruit shops in it that are very cheap. They are all zero-name Xinjiang local snack dried fruit dairy products. To make up for the anxiety that there is no place to buy specialties on the road, and there is no time to buy in Turks. Self-driving can buy and put on the car or let the boss help you send the courier. The hotel has its own parking lot. This hotel also has a washing machine dryer, saved."

"The room was great, with plenty of parking, and you could even see the border between the two countries. The photos were taken from the room's view. The hotel offers a free shuttle service to the China-Kazakhstan Horgos International Border Cooperation Center, which is a service definitely worth using. You can visit the cooperation center first. It's better to go early for shopping and customs clearance to avoid crowds. Inside the cooperation center, there are attractions like the 'one foot in two countries' boundary marker and the old Soviet border gate. I recommend visiting the Border Gate Museum; it has boundary markers and an introduction to the evolution of six generations of border gates. Don't miss breakfast on the hotel's rooftop! Their apples are delicious! This was the only place on our entire trip that had 'Fragrant Concubine Apples,' and even our kid, who usually doesn't like apples, ate many pieces. The staff were all very enthusiastic, and the room was clean and tidy. The restaurant on the first floor is better than the Western restaurant on the third floor. Overall, highly recommended."

"Facilities: The hotel, which just opened in 2025, is fully equipped with everything from a TV and refrigerator to automatic curtains, and all the amenities are brand new.
Cleanliness: Spotless and tidy.
Environment: The location is right next to the terminal, just a 10-minute walk away. It's connected to the terminal by a covered walkway, so you don't have to walk outside – it feels almost like being inside the terminal itself.
Service: The VIP fast-track security access, which was advertised on the platform, was provided after we specifically asked for it. There's also a shuttle buggy service to the terminal every half hour, saving you the hassle of lugging your luggage.
Summary: Great value for money, definitely worth the price."

LLonglidiansi。The hotel's location is great, within walking distance to Narati, which is a big plus! The hotel itself is large with a spacious lobby, but its size also means it can be a bit confusing to navigate. It could use more staff. Breakfast was decent; there was a good variety, but the taste was just okay. As for facilities, I particularly want to mention the laundry room. It really needs an update. I had to search for it, finding it in an adjacent building and quite tucked away. In the end, I couldn't iron my clothes due to insufficient facilities and had to go back. The room is a bit old-fashioned but fully equipped, giving off vibes of hotels from a decade ago during an economic boom. Overall cleanliness was acceptable, but I'm deducting points because I found a centipede-like insect in the room just before check-out (perhaps due to the excellent natural environment?).

YYongyuandexinsjjExcellent! They upgraded us to an oxygen-enriched room and included both breakfast and dinner buffets. The lobby is clean and beautiful, and there's a kids' play area and a billiards room. They also have plenty of washing machines and dryers (with a convenient 3-minute high-temperature sterilization mode). Nearby, there's delicious yak hotpot and the Ba Tie night market, plus lots of shops, which is really convenient (though we had a driver).
Service: The restaurant offered takeout, room service, and even helped us cut a watermelon, which was very helpful. I highly recommend everyone choose this hotel. The staff are all incredibly friendly. I also noticed they offer airport shuttle service, which is a great option even though we had a private car.
Remember to take deep breaths and enjoy the oxygen in the air when you come to Tashkurgan; with the oxygen room, you'll pretty much adapt by the second day.

GGuest UserTraveling to Kanas, I stayed overnight in Altay and chose this hotel. The lobby and bathroom in the room are decorated in a gemstone style, which is very distinctive of the region. The room was spacious, clean, and tidy, the bed was just right – neither too soft nor too hard – and the soundproofing was excellent. Our room was close to the elevator, but we barely heard any noise and slept soundly until morning. What truly deserves praise is the rich breakfast; it was the most abundant we had at any hotel during our trip to Xinjiang, featuring local delicacies, and it was quite popular. There are some minor drawbacks: the shower water pressure wasn't great, and the trees on the street outside the hotel were small, making the surroundings seem a bit ordinary. However, considering this is in the remote northwest, and you can't compare it to standards in large coastal cities, you'll realize this hotel is quite good for the Northwest. Oh, and the hotel offers a complimentary private car service to the airport for Trip.com customers.

Nights were quiet and comfortable, allowing us to fully relax after a day of exploring. The attention to detail in the service was also thoughtful and warm. TTravis and ElishaWow! What an amazing place to stay and how lucky we were to find it. By far the best place we stayed in China. Mrs. Li (the owner) was so genuinely nice and caring, and we felt like part of the family staying there. One of my favorite things in Kashgar was hanging out with her and her family in the evenings. She always invited us at night to hangout in the common area where she would make us tea and share her fresh and dried fruits with us. She was really good at using a translator app, so we were able to have a good conversation with her through that.
She has a great little family. Her son speaks good English and was also very nice. She had a young daughter who also speaks English, but is more shy with it (though she will sing you a Taylor Swift song..she has a great voice). They have 3 cats and the youngest one, little tiger, is just the sweetest and the friendliest cat I have ever met.
It was such a good and warm feeling to stay there. We definitely wish we could visit again. A home away from home. And we were treated so generously in more ways than we can write here.
Mrs. Li asked us right away if there was anything she could help us with, without us having to ask, which we really appreciated, and she took the time to sit down with us to go over our plans. She let us store our luggage for 3 days and walked us out to help us get a taxi when we departed.
While it was the family that made it simply amazing, some might also be interested in the following information.
The location is great. On a quiet street. Close to the big mosque which is a good landmark to use to find the area. And of course close to the old city. It's also really close to the biggest supermarket we have found thus far in China (we have to admit it was nice to get a few ”luxuries” from home like cereal and hot chocolate).
The guesthouse is cute and has a Central Asian feel. The shower works great and is hot. We were there in the winter, and the room has heat if you needed it. Mrs. Li was able to arrange a driver for us to go to Tashkorgun and the Karakorum Highway, which was super helpful. The place was nice and clean.
Thank you so much Mrs. Li! You will be a highlight of our visit to China and will be remembered in our hearts forever.

GGuest UserWhat a hidden gem of a hotel! We arrived at 11 PM and called ahead to order dinner from the hotel restaurant. The lamb hotpot was absolutely incredible – seriously, so, so good.
The service was outstanding and so welcoming. The staff helped with all our luggage; even if I walked past with just a backpack, someone would immediately offer to carry it. The coffee at breakfast was also the best I'd had in all my days in Xinjiang.
Beyond the beautiful environment, the hotel also offers horse riding (for a fee) and archery (free). We stayed at the hotel until well after noon before checking out, which was incredibly relaxing.
We initially thought it would be a two-hour drive to Kokesu, but a staff member told us about an entrance that was only a 20-minute drive away. That was a huge help, truly.
All in all, everything was perfect. We didn't get to see the stars because it rained that night, but we had no regrets at all because this hotel is just phenomenal. Oh, and the hotel also has fast charging stations for electric cars!

BBaowenbeiArrived in Urumqi on an early flight, and the Grand Bazaar wasn't open yet. Wanted to freshen up first, so I booked a by-the-hour room. It was super convenient and great value! It's a 10-minute walk to Jinquan Mall and 15 minutes to the Grand Bazaar. Plus, the hotel offers luggage storage! Definitely worth it. They even have hair straighteners available for guests in the lobby – how thoughtful!

GGuest UserStaying at Gui Lai Inn felt just like coming home. Last night, when I first arrived, I couldn't find the parking lot. The landlady personally came to pick me up and helped me park the car. She then enthusiastically introduced the attractions of the ancient city and gave me details on the city gate opening ceremony for the next day, including the time and location. Today, I was running late to check out, and the landlady kindly extended my check-out time until 2 PM, which really made me feel like family. Friends visiting Kashgar, Gui Lai Inn is definitely your top choice!
