When I booked, I specifically requested a quiet room, but the location they gave us was simply unbelievable. The room service staff were very good, I'll give them that, but it was so noisy. The soundproofing is truly terrible. I'm not talking about airplanes flying overhead; it's the constant noise from the hallway that's too loud, like a sports meet is happening right outside! It was supposed to be a family room, but there was no kids' club access, no app, and no screen mirroring! The bed was indeed comfortable, but what's going on with the air conditioning? When we first arrived, it was set to cool, but in the middle of the night, we woke up sweating because it was blowing hot air? Did you randomly adjust it for us? We couldn't even control it ourselves. The smart assistant just kept saying 'I'm here' but couldn't adjust the AC or open the curtains! Is this really a smart room? Only the cleanliness and bed comfort were somewhat satisfactory. The BBQ downstairs was both expensive and terrible!

The hotel room was spotless and very quiet at night, which is a huge plus for anyone who values good sleep – highly recommend it! The front desk staff was lovely; the lady at reception paid close attention to the notes I left on Trip.com and even gave me an eye mask. The location is super convenient for transport on weekends, and dining is a breeze with all sorts of malls downstairs and the old street right next door. Breakfast was also fantastic with a great variety of choices. I'll definitely pick this hotel again next time I'm in Kunming.

Wonderful hotel at the top of the ancient town. Set around a lovely courtyard in a traditional style building, this is in the heart of beautiful Lijiang but away from the noise and relentless tourist throngs. The rooms are simple, clean and comfortable. The bathrooms are showing their age a little but everything works as it should. The best thing is the wonderful manager, Zhu Haifei, who welcomes you with endless tea and never stops helping with all sorts of advice and support. He booked us a brilliant driver to visit Tiger Leaping Gorge and made our stay very special.

I had an amazing stay here which was my favourite after travelling to China for a month. Well located in a quieter and more peaceful section of the ancient town. The design of the hotel itself was stunning! Despite the traditional design, the hotel contained completely modern amenities like smart toilets, bed heaters, AC and fast wifi. The highlight though is the exceptional service from the attentive staff and the lovely hotel owner. They are helpful with recommendations, provide pickup service so you don’t have to carry your luggage through the ancient town and overall provides a very homely and comforting atmosphere. I was even invited to dinner and shared fruits, tea and snacks with me! If that isn’t enough to convince you, they also have four super cute cats! Would definitely recommend staying here if you’re coming to Lijiang.

We were passing by Kunming and only needed to stay one night. The check-in and check-out process was very smooth and the room was lovely and had everything we needed. Location was the best part, the hotel was in the livelypedestrian area but was also close to the streets so we didn't have to carry our luggage far to get a Didi.

This hotel is located in the Duoyishu Scenic Area of Yuanyang. We chose a room on the 4th floor with a terrace, and the view absolutely blew away all other rooms. We had a vast expanse of terraced fields right in front of us, perfect for photos at any time, especially stunningly beautiful at sunrise – no need to jostle with crowds at the Duoyishu observation deck. The room facilities were pretty complete, including a huge soaking tub, though it felt largely unnecessary. The hotel service was also excellent; they contacted us in advance about our arrival and parking. Since the hotel is situated on a hillside, it's not accessible by private car, but the hotel provides a minivan for pick-up and drop-off at any time. There's no elevator, but the hotel staff were very helpful with luggage up and down the stairs. The hotel offers breakfast sets and also has an à la carte menu. I highly recommend this place for guests who want to enjoy beautiful scenery without having to get up too early or rush to crowded scenic spots. My stay at this high-rise, ocean-view hotel truly exceeded my expectations – it absolutely deserves a five-star rating! The hotel's location is superb, offering expansive, unobstructed views from its upper floors. The moment I stepped into the room, I was mesmerized by the sea view. The huge floor-to-ceiling windows perfectly framed the entire azure ocean. During the day, the sunlight sparkled on the water; in the evening, I watched the sunset paint the sky crimson; and at night, I drifted off to sleep with the sound of the waves. The ambiance was absolutely perfect, and every photo I took looked stunning. The room's decor was simple yet elegant, and the facilities were complete and well-maintained. The bedding was soft and comfortable, ensuring a perfect night's sleep. The bathroom was clean and tidy, fully stocked with amenities, showing attention to detail. The hotel service was also incredibly thoughtful; from check-in to check-out, the process was efficient and thorough. The staff were gentle and patient, always responding promptly to any requests. The public areas were elegant, and the hygiene was impeccable. The entire hotel was quiet and peaceful, creating a truly relaxing holiday atmosphere. It's perfect for family trips, romantic getaways, or even just some solo relaxation. To enjoy such a magnificent sea view from a high floor at this price point offers incredible value for money. It was a comfortable and restorative stay. I will definitely choose this hotel again for my next visit and wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone planning a beach vacation!

I was very satisfied with my trip to Jingmai Mountain. The room was clean and tidy, and the bedding and toiletries were of good quality. The owner's decor and aesthetic sense were excellent, making for a very comfortable stay. I want to especially mention that the guesthouse is run by the owners, a very capable couple. During my stay, they were incredibly hospitable and helpful, recommending good restaurants and travel tips. Most importantly, their tea was delicious, and their barbecue was really good. If any of you are going to Jingmai Mountain, I highly recommend Laowantong Guesthouse. It's great value for money, and the owners are incredibly kind, simple, and welcoming. I'll definitely be staying at Laowantong next time I'm in Jingmai Mountain!!! The room was great, spacious and clean. The owner was very warm and friendly. The location is super convenient, just a short walk to the 101 bus stop in the morning. Plus, there's a shared bike parking spot right in front of the hotel, which is really handy. Overall, I'm very satisfied.

The owner was incredibly welcoming and kind. They even picked us up from the bus station and took us to the guesthouse. Our room was spotless and fresh, with no unpleasant smells. The first floor of the guesthouse is absolutely beautiful! 😍 And the rooftop patio is amazing – you can relax on the swing, gaze at Cangshan Mountain in the distance, and admire the old town. It's incredibly peaceful and relaxing! I highly recommend booking here! It's super close to the South Gate of the old town, which is perfect for an evening stroll and experiencing the night market. Overall, a fantastic experience!
