The location is close to the ski lift, the room is good, new, beautiful view from the window, the cleaning is not 100 percent, they took the dishes, forgot to put in a new one, even after calling the reception they didn’t bring it, I had to ask the cleaners in the corridor. Didn't get new capsules for the espresso machine. The breakfast is good, the hotel has a sauna (only Finnish) and a swimming pool with mountain views (included in the price), the jacuzzi did not work. Billiards, bowling, bar for an additional fee, conveniently located in the hotel. We booked a hotel for the sake of a kids club, upon arrival it turned out that there was no babysitting, there was just a playroom in which there were practically no toys ... The reception staff was pleasant, ready to help.

There is no skiing in this season. If you want to ski, it is better to come in winter, but the scenery in the mountains is really relaxing. The hotel service staff is very good, but the food is not used to it, it is best to bring some food, or Go to the supermarket not far from the hotel. The water you drink on the day of check-in is free, but you have to pay for any more water. It’s better to go to the supermarket not far away.

How can I start, I was nervous to come because of all the bad reviews I was reading. We arrived 5 days ago and at the airport we paid 1062 gel for a taxi but the guys was not speaking one word of english we tried to communicate with him and it was impossible. Check in: very pleasant the front desk staffs are very nice and really try to help, for me they are the most trained and was my highlight in our stay. Still not a 5 star but compare to the rest it is luxury! Room: I feel the rooms were nice we had enough space and it was clean on arrival, we had 4 rooms in total with a suite which was more like a family room, be careful their sofa bed are not standard and a child of max 4 years old can sleep in it. We requested to change the sofa bed as out kids are 9 and after 2 days asking they finally changed the bed, we paid 2 nights were our children could not sleep properly because their legs was too long for the small sofa bed! Housekeeping: this part is a disaster, they just make the bed and thats it, not even clean the tooth paste mark in the bathroom, toilet are not clean. If you leave clothes in the bed they will take it and put where they find space, no folding no tidying, my house is much cleaner and tidy that this 5 stars hotel. I have never had a refill for the body lotion they have zero attention to details and they don t speak a word of english… Restaurant: staff is trying to be nice but you can tell it is not natural they don t like their job and they seems not to care about us, a week of eating lunch and dinner and still treating us like stranger not a nice word I will put that on the culture but not in a 5star hotel. Food is good quality, but international food choice is missing and they are absolutely the less flexible people I have ever experiences in an holiday. Be ready to wait, wait and wait and be ready that they are living on excuses and one of the most concerning excuse was we have too much guest…. Customer service is not part of their culture or vocabulary. Ski rental: that is not the hotel staff but they I will only say 2 words RUDE and DISRESPECTFUL, they are laughing at your face in Georgian that was quite an experience. OVERALL: It is way overpriced for the experience, the GM which I met tried to explain the difficulties of finding good staff and if she could run the entire place alone with her attitude it will be a great hotel unfortunately 80% of the staff are not up to standard and it can ruined your holidays. Staying at this hotel will cost you a lot

We planned our annual family summer holiday in Kazbegi, a 3-hour drive from Tbilisi.. The Hotel Memoir is a relatively new property, the uninterrupted mountain views are absolutely gorgeous, the staff is very helpful, and always with a smile, breakfast was superb - fresh fruits and continental breakfast, alongwith Georgian local specialities. In the evenings, we enjoyed drinks and hookah on the terrace, while our children bonded over the pool table and Monopoly and card games .... Kazbegi day tours were fantastic - we went horse-riding, Ziplining and simply enjoyed stunning beauty of nature...

This description of the hotel confused 2 different places. both are located in the village ”Sno”. But one is a multi-storey large hotel, and the second is a small guesthouse! We stayed at the guesthouse! This is the sweetest cozy old house, where the owner has kept the charm of an old country house made of stone and modern design, creating a unique interior. The coziest room and the most comfortable bed, hand-painted wooden shutters, a lovely courtyard, the most hearty and delicious breakfasts! The host Lela is very caring, helps her guests in everything, you can contact her for any question! We are in love with this valley, the village is quiet, very picturesquely located among the mountains, there is a mountain river and a stream nearby, you can walk around, look at the sculptures of a local artist and even see an old tower. A great place to not just spend the night, but to really relax and explore this beautiful region of Georgia.

Quiet hotel, suitable for skiing masters, as it is right next to the slopes. It's cool to slide all the way! The landlady was very friendly, and when she saw the children like playing with snow, they found a twisting car. Going skiing on the hillside is especially loving!

If you come to Gudauri to ski, this hotel is not very convenient for those who love skiing. You need to reserve a car with the hotel to go to the ski resort. The journey takes about 10 minutes. The overall facilities of the hotel are relatively clean and tidy, and the rooms are quite large. The balcony can take pictures of the beautiful scenery of Rizhao Jinshan Mountain. In addition, the restaurant in the hotel is also very good. It is the best restaurant here and the price is not expensive. Except that the location is not very friendly, everything else is OK. PS: The hotel page states that there are ski passes and cable cars, but in fact the cable car fees need to be purchased separately at the ski resort.

To note: it is quite a way out of New Gudauri (where the main ski lift, restaurants, bars, ski rentals etc are located). The manager will run you to and pick you up from the base of the ”Shino” lift near the hotel but if you need to get into Gudauri (or fancy eating there after skiing) you will have to call the hotel (they are very efficient about responding) and pay about 20 Lari.

We stayed at Residence Hills for 4 nights. The Superior Suite is very spacious, with two bedrooms and two bathrooms, generous living area and a kitchenette with a dining area. The apartment can easily accommodate 6 people or even up to 8 if you are willing to share sofa beds. The rooms were clean. The staff on the reception were friendly and helpful. The hotel has ski lockers and a very nice ski rental shop is just next door in the sister hotel. There is a direct access to the ski slopes. The hotel has an amazing restaurant. We had a very nice and comfortable stay. I would only say that ski-in/ski-out option is hard for complete beginners. Also, if you are planning to cook yourself, the shops are about 15min walk up the main road which is not pleasant due to the traffic - bring provisions with you, the rooms have a large fridge.
