The apartment was better than I expected. The room was tidy and new, and the price was good value compared to other places nearby. It's a 5-minute walk to the subway station, which was perfect for us as we were out early and back late. The only downside is that it's close to the main street, so there's some traffic noise, but my husband and I are both heavy sleepers, so we didn't mind. Highly recommended.
The hotel's location is excellent, right next to the subway station. Check-in was efficient, and the room was quite spacious and looked very clean. Slippers and complimentary bottled water were provided, and the swimming pool was great.
Near train station of Central Athens, for 15 minutes walk (btw the announce from train only saying ”Athina”, some mess).
Connect easily to metro Larissa Station.
You can walk to the central of Athens, including attractions like Ancient Agora and Roman Agora. If you walk further south into the area, the famous Acropolis and the museum can be reached.
Although some comments mentioned the locating area of hotel is a little bit not safe, this is just basic living area of locals (though some root level). Just keep yourself alerts, and they are not willing to border you.
Once you reach the door of hotel, you will find feeling of good safety, there are always securities in front of door of hotel.
Staffs are nice, greeting with you; breakfast provided, same types of choices everyday (I stayed 4 nights), good enough of Western Greek styles.
Rooms are slightly old but tidy, anyway just remember basic facilities are provided e.g. no bottled water, toothbrush, slippers.
In conclude, just a good 3-stars standard hotel, near city center, for budget!
Lastly, just no worry on foods, some 24hr restaurants, maybe that Bread Factory hah
I highly appreciated the staff from Boss Boutique Athens for their helpfulness and friendliness.
We had a trouble with our rental car and their staff/ manager were willing to go beyond and help us in resolving the issue.
They offered more than we expected. The breakfast was good and the location is great for anyone who wants to travel around Athens.
Highly recommended and thank you again for your help!

The hotel boasts an excellent location, right on the main street, and it's about a 10-minute walk to Syntagma Square metro station. The older gentleman at the front desk initially seemed a bit discriminatory, assigning us a room right next to the elevator which also had an unpleasant odor. After we requested a change, he gave us a balcony room. The hotel features a rooftop bar where you can enjoy beautiful sunsets and stunning night views of the Acropolis. Hotel guests also receive a 10% discount there.
The hotel is in an excellent location. Restaurants, shopping areas, and historical attractions are all within just a few minutes’ walk.
The breakfast restaurant offers a wonderful view of the Acropolis of Athens, which makes the dining experience even more enjoyable. However, the breakfast selection is somewhat limited. It would be great if the hotel could consider adding a live cooking or made-to-order station to further enhance the overall experience.

We arrived after 10 PM. I was a bit hesitant about taking a taxi, as I'd seen previous guest comments mentioning safety concerns. However, the area around the airport metro station was quite lively, and the hotel was just a short walk, a few hundred meters, off the main road. The front desk staff were lovely and made us feel very comfortable. Once we got into our room and saw the Acropolis lit up at night, all my worries completely melted away.
The room was clean and water were provided as complimentary. Location was great with nearby metro station to get to most of the places, especially from/to the airport and also to the port.
We were lucky to be able to get our room before the official check in time and were greeted in a friendly manner.
Everything about the hotel was great. The hygiene was good, the front desk was always staffed, and the facilities were excellent and new. The only issue was the neighborhood; around dusk, there were a lot of suspicious-looking people near the city center, which is a major safety concern in Athens due to serious theft and robbery. However, as long as you're careful and return before dark, it's fine. I really liked the hotel itself. There's also a beautiful rooftop terrace with amazing views.
Our 2-night stay at this hotel in Athens was satisfying in terms of facilities and cleanliness, even though the location wasn't the best. As soon as you step inside, you feel like you've arrived at a truly nice hotel. The view from its balcony makes you feel that you're exactly in Athens as it looks towards its streets. The receptionist was helpful and provided a luggage storage area for us on our check-out day. It met our expectations and I would recommend it, but keep in mind that it's located in the backstreets of Athens. You are likely to encounter homeless people and some sketchy individuals, so just be aware of the surroundings before booking. Thanks!

GGuest UserTraveling from London with a 19-hour layover in Athens, I arrived at the hotel around 9 PM and had a flight to Shanghai the next day at 1 PM. I chose this hotel primarily for its excellent location, being very close to the Acropolis and within walking distance. Even with a short layover, I could easily fit in a half-day tour of the Acropolis the next morning. The overall check-in process was smooth, and it was a perfect choice for an overnight stopover to explore Athens.
SSHAI 11One of the best hotels I've stayed in. Everything is excellent, from the location, the facilities, the rooms, the staff, to the breakfast, and above all, the highest level of service I've ever encountered. Highly recommended and I will undoubtedly return here on my next visit to Athens.
TTanya Kumagai-BangA fantastic stay! Location, location, location.
Wonderful bed and clean room. And the breakfast was amazing. We wanted to stay on an extra night but was fully booked. We will be back! Highly recommend. 😊
GGuest UserIt was a good stay for the price. Close to the station, towels are exchanged every day, and there is a cheap and delicious kebab shop right by the side (diagonally in front). The man at the front desk was very kind.
However, the location is not very good first. The road from the station to the hotel is not so worried if it is not midnight, but it is not recommended for women. And if you go back to the hotel and go to the right about 3 blocks, you get to the dangerous zone of the Manila slums. There are all kinds of drug addicts.
And there is no shampoo or toothbrush in the room. Then, there is no shower curtain, so the toilet becomes rusty even if it enters how well.
But you can forgive me if you think about the price. Such a hotel.
GGuest UserMiraMe has the BEST shower we have ever experienced. THE BEST SHOWER! It comes with four different ' heads ' and the water pressure is extremely powerful so taking a shower after a hot day in Athens was an absolute joy. Usually the rainshower found in most hotels is weak, but MiraMe's jets are very forceful and steady water temperature. The other three ' heads ' are one for the chest, one for the butt and one for the legs. Then there is also one separate hand held shower head on the side. The shower room is spacious and drainage is smooth, and the door seals perfect so there is no worry of a leak. We cannot claim to be hotel experts but for the 30+ odd years of travelling and having stayed in over 60 hotels in many cities, we can vow loud and clear that MiraMe has really sourced the BEST shower model, and other hotels, even other leading hotels in the world should dump theirs and change them into MiraMe's.
Locationwise, MiraMe also is very good. The main shopping districts are just 10 mins walk away where you can find famous brands as well as plenty of shoe shops. In the area are major bus stops , great variety of restaurants, cafes, ice cream parlours, pharmacies and other nice hotels.
The room we had booked is ' deluxe family room with balcony ' that has a short flight of stairs leading to an attic for the 3rd person. It is a nice nook up there for some privacy with a bed and a sofa and an individual air con that provides a comfy temp. The balcony is small and not much view so we hardly used it. Breakfast is provided up on the rooftop bar cum lounge, where a young staff manned the place and served freshly made breakfast cooked to each guest's order every morning. The rooftop has a nice open view of the Acropolis and has very nice updated music that is cool but not too loud and wild.
They also have a bar on the G/F serving drinks. The staff are all young and pleasant, polite and helpful and they try their best to help with restaurant bookings and recommendations etc.
MiraMe is a clean and modern boutique hotel that provides sufficient toiletries to make the stay comfy and carefree. Housekeeping is discreet and the bedding is all clean and white, bath and hand towels and floors and things we touch are basically clean. Again, we cannot praise enough their wonderful shower that has to be the BEST in the whole world.
The hotel is in a quiet street but in a very safe neighbourhood, so even if you return late everyone feels very secure and safe.
KKailangdemiaoxiansenService: The staff I encountered were all quite good. The younger ones had good English, and the older ones were friendly and smiled warmly. 5/5 stars.
Cleanliness: Very clean. There was a Cameroonian lady who spoke French, which was a plus! The room and bathroom were well-maintained and the air was fresh.
Environment: I stayed in a 6-bed mixed dorm. When there were a lot of guys, the snoring was constant, sometimes even a duet! On the last of my three nights, there were three girls, which was better. The beds were sturdy with good privacy curtains. As for roommates, it's really a matter of luck! But it's good value for money, and it's only a 5-minute walk to the subway, so transportation is convenient. 😂
JJason8Very good location, metro station is few minutes away and it is on Airport Blue line route. Shopping and Acropolis are around, central to everything. A rooftop bar with acropolis view and a lower ground storage are a bonus. Though the lift is too small can only accommodate 2 or three people, the breakfast is included.
SSarah JanesThis place is quite unusual. My room was upgraded so that I had a suite over two floors, with a small private pool on another lower level. Absolutely every convenience had been considered, some extras might verge on overkill (bog roll tied up with a ribbon for example).
The room looked amazing on first inspection, but I quite quickly realised the smell of the pool was so strong it stung my eyes, and the sound of the ventilation unit was quite a roar. There was only one small openable window on the mezzanine level next to the bed and I had to sleep with that open as wide as possible.
Bed was extremely comfortable, I had to turn off the pool ventilator unit in the middle of the night because it kept waking me up, but once I had done that and the smell of baking bread entered the room from a bakery down the road I slept like a log.
Staff were really nice and friendly, but they are working with quite difficult circumstances and perhaps unnecessarily. The kitchen is on the bottom floor and breakfast is served on the 5th floor roof (from which you can see the Parthenon) breakfast is a little awkward as you get a huge wicker basket 🧺 full of food plus crepes, plus omelette, plus tuna sandwich, a whole baguette (some more little ribbons), and I am not sure anyone can eat as much as is provided, and the server had to keep travelling up and down in the one person elevator. Probably would be better to ask guests what they would like to have for breakfast out of the options available and have a coffee/tea station upstairs. There is the option to take lunch in your room - for which the picnic basket concept makes a lot more sense.
Seems like there should be a way to make the place feel more efficient and common sensible. I did get the feeling that they might have only just opened and are finding their feet, so I hope this review will be useful - certainly was a generous accommodation and staff are working very hard to make sure guests have the best possible experience.
