We stayed 1 night after flying into Artio Airport. Access from the airport is via a toll tunnel (€3) and parking is available immediately outside. Very pleasant staff throughout and an efficient check in. The room was adequate but rather dark and dated. No tea & coffee facilities, iron or board. Bathroom had shower over the bath. The lounge was very formal with rows of sofas and the dining room lacked any atmosphere. Dinner for 2 was €32 + drinks for 3 courses. Outside there was a lovely pool on the terrace overlooking the estuary but it was very windy. Not an hotel we’d have wanted to spend our holiday in - but fine for a night.

The hotel is very near the Clock Tower, at the center of Ioanina. As derived from it's location in the heart of the tpwn there is no view. The hotel is compact. The entrance is right from the street, and there are several stairs to the desk, but they have amoving chair to asist people aith walking problems. The room was not very spacious but very nicely organized and decorated. The corridor and public areas are also nicely decorated. You can have breakfast (all the usuall ingredients on a tray) at the room on special stand' or at a public area in the 1st floor. The service was very good - from the nice and helpful clerks to the cleaning and trat in the room. The combination of the above, together with very reasonable price was very suitable to us.

The decoration quality is very good, the furniture and decoration are all solid wood, and the luxurious lobby is very tasteful. Even if it is affected by the epidemic, there are not many guests, but the rich breakfast still maintains the quality of a five-star hotel.

There is no parking around, so you need to find your own spot in streets around. Room was small, a bit too simple, but clean. Bathroom is outdated and it needs some love - especially shower curtains and toilet seat. AC in room is positioned directly above the bed, so it’s very hard to set it up to cool down the hot room with windows closed because of traffic noise, but not to have direct cold air current directed at your head. Breakfast was acceptable, mostly based on frozen pastry baked in oven. There is actually no kitchen, just one small room with ovens, fridge and sliding door hiding the only toilet in lobby/bar area. It was strange using the toilet while you feel the heat and smells from ovens just few feet away from you. Staff was friendly and helpful! If the hotel was 2 star place priced well below the price we payed for it, I wouldn’t write a review this harsh. But since I was expecting 4 star hotel, it was a disappointment.

There are many positives about the hotel. Sympathetic architecture for the national park with small clumps of modern stone buildings. Lovely view up the valley road. Acceptable food from the in-house restaurant and a jolly good b+b breakfast. Large enough bedroom with comfy bed. Hospitable staff with plenty of smiles. The major downside for me was the outdoor layout. With no mechanical aids, all movement away from the car is on Shank's pony. There are steepish ramps and lots of stairs but no lifts, escalators or assistance, not even a baggage cart. It was annoying to have to leave the suitcases in the car. None of this would have been an issue if the publicity blurb had warned of it: we would simply have gone somewhere else. But to be hit with the surprise on arrival was more than a little dispiriting.

Everything was perfect!😍 I recommend this place for a nice stay in the city center of Ioannina. Everything was very close to the hotel so we could go everywhere on foot. The room had a really nice view and it was big enough. The personnel was quite friendly and helpful. 🌸🌸

Well I owed this one to the hotel. Stayed here even in the hard times of Covid when they created a safe shelter for all the people who still had to travel to work. Even in those hard times they maintained the level at the highest level. I have stayed in this hotel more than 40 times. Quality remains the same , service the same , breakfast still working fine for me ( they could offer a free fresh orange juice though would be highly appreciated during breakfast) . In general terms a very safe choice for ioannina just a few minutes from the city centre and in an excellent location for visiting around.

Εξαιρετική επιλογή για διαμονή στο κέντρο των Ιωαννίνων από το οποίο μπορείς να περιηγηθείς σε πολλά σημεία ενδιαφέροντος της πόλης με τα πόδια. Luxury αλλά και ζεστό και προσιτό ταυτόχρονα. Υποδειγματική καθαριότητα τόσο στο δωμάτιο όσο και λοιπούς χώρους του ξενοδοχείου. Υπέροχο πρωινό που ανανεώνεται συνεχώς σε πολύ όμορφο χώρο. Μεγάλα κρεβάτια με καταπληκτικό στρώμα και μαξιλάρια και πολυ καλή ηχομόνωση. Στον τελευταίο όροφο λειτουργεί roof bar restaurant με υπέροχη θέα που, όμως, είναι λίγο πιο κάτω απο τις προσδοκίες που γεννά το επίπεδο της ποιότητας όλων των άλλων χώρων του ξενοδοχείου. Let's start from the basics. What you see in the photos do not represent reality. Well done to the photographer who managed to hide how dilapidated the accommodation is. Specifically: The rooms too small, one on top of the other. The rooms are filthy, dust everywhere. The glass in the bathroom door has probably never been cleaned (see attached photo). Closets, dirty. Basin; Her bottom had changed color, bleach is never used, not a single day did we smell anything in bleach or anything at all that reminded us of cleanliness. The building is in a bad condition externally (damaged - paintwork) but also internally as the furniture was battered and had lost its color as well as the walls have been painted in the corridors. The aesthetics of the hotel are also miserable, curtains everywhere for no reason with strange lights that you don't see in the corridors at night. The room has too many lights, which do not turn off individually, they have a central switch. So either you will be squinted by the light or you won't be able to see in front of you. In the shower we found half-finished shampoos from the previous ones that the cleaners had not collected. 3 days in a row, they didn't put me a panosedon and I had to call them at 12 at night to bring it to me. The cleaners don't use a vacuum cleaner. Broom and farasi and holy God. On the last day I went back up to the room after breakfast and was sweating, we had to leave it wide open for 10 minutes to let it dry out in the cold. Ok I get that people sweat when they clean and do chores but not like this guys, we couldn't stop. Balcony; Ok, chairs on the balcony? ok Small table? Never, so you can't sit on a balcony if you want (if you want to sit on a balcony in the stink, cobwebs and dust that has literally never been cleaned). Let's go to breakfast: Breakfast in the basement ( -1 ) at tables for 8 people which were full of crumbs and you will necessarily have to eat breakfast with other strangers at the same table. The food stale and plastic, the only nice thing was the water. Napkins missing, only if you asked. On Monday, we went down half an hour after breakfast had ended because no one had informed us that on weekdays it ends earlier. So we left hungry. Kudos to the photographer as he has amazingly managed to camouflage this shack you call a 4 star hotel. And if they paid us, we wouldn't go again. 200 euros a night for a family of 3, I'd rather burn it than give it to them. It is worth noting that the most important problem of all of these is cleanliness. It is not clean, the cleaners do not clean, they enter your room for 5 minutes, throw 2 sheets and leave. I suggest the management to review the staff they have chosen for the cleanliness of the accommodation. 1 star because I can't put 0. Far from specific

We had an amazing time when we visited Melydron during July 2020. The hotel was very clean, quiet with a majectic view from the room an pool. We really enjoyed relaxing next to the pool or outside our balcony especially during sunset. The employees were very friendly and polite all the times! Definitely a place to revisit!

Very nice hotel - a palace compared to the place where I stayed in parga. Nice breakfast, comfy bed and bathroom, very spacious room. I was disappointed that my bathtub didn’t have a plug so I could only have a shower. Location is great -15 min walk to beach, 5 min to the old city centre. The only thing that wasn’t great was that 1 reception team member spoke very little English and this made Comms quite tricky at critical times. That said everyone else was fluent. Will stay again!

Lovely small hotel in pleasant harbour town close to beaches. Staff really great, English spoken and so helpful in everyway. Nice welcome especially as we were too early for check in. Lobby area comfortable. We had a suite, big room, comfortable bed, good Aircon, sitting area, fridge, coffee machine ,TV ,water. Big bathroom separate shower and bath. Balcony overlooking pool, hotel provided chairs on request. Good buffer breakfast for Greece, coffee from machine on roof top. Short walk into town.

Well, perhaps I'm not fair using the word ”they” in the title, since every single member of the hotel stuff, have been extremely polite. The girls in the spa, the technician, the receptionists, everybody: They have been amazing. So, the destruction, was one man's work only: the hotel owner's, himself. And of course, his guidelines-directions, that the hotel is following, should be held responsible also. I will try to be comprehensive, because if I right in detail everything that happened, I will not be over writing until...tomorrow. I had booked an executive suite for me and my wife for our wedding anniversary (3 nights). The room, costing itself 200€ per night, had a problem with heating: no matter what we tried, the temperature would not rise above 21 degress celsius during our first night (anniversary night). Hotel stuff was informed. Wasn't able to fix this also. When we woke up the next morning, and the heating was operating the whole night, the problem remained. I asked if we could switch to another room with no heating problem. Two different hotel employees, had confirmed already that there was a problem with the heating of my initial room. The receptionist agreed to meet my demand and offered us the chance to switch to the junior suite. But, when I asked how much should I pay, she said that we would have to pay THE SAME price, just like if I was staying in the executive suite , for 3 nights. I responded that this is non-sense, and she replied that she notifies us about the decision the hotel owner himself had made. I requested to see him. And request was granted. Comprehensively: I said that 1) It is non-sense to ask us to pay for the junior suite the same price to the executive suite, which is, among others, 22 square metres larger as a room, especially since the problem was at THEIR end. We already have suffered enough with all this of course, and he should consider this also and leave us transfer to junior suite in peace, for God's shake. He replied in an amazingly rude, hostile and careless manner that :there was no problem with my initial room. The heating system is controlled centrally by the hotel. So I can't modify the temperature myself, because, what if I wanted to reach 30 degrees celsius in my room? So the problem is mine and it is my choice to change room. So I have to pay the whole initial booking, which concerns 3 nights in an executive suite. After alI, I chose their hotel to come, the didn't force me to. I COULD NOT BELIEVE MY EARS. And I wouldn't believe that this could happen in a 5 star hotel in my country. I said that, if so, then 1) Why this is not refered in your website? That we have to stay ”cool” in a winter destination like Zagorohoria and the heating is modified centrally depending on the preferences of the person in the reception? 2) Why then, two different employees of yours confirmed that there is a problem with the room? And why your employees didn't tell me that the heating is controlled
