Woodfield House Hotel

I have just returned from this hotel after a long weekend with 5 girlfriends. We honestly had the best time here. The staff couldn’t do enough for us…we were really well looked after. The room was bright, the beds comfortable with good pillows. Tea/coffee/water was provided in the room each day. Breakfast was exceptionally good…a vast selection of choices and great quality and well presented. We loved the friendliness of the locals and the bar was warm and welcoming. We ate here one evening and again the food was fabulous. A small selection of wines but they were great quality…and have obviously been well selected. I definitely recommend a stay here and have no doubt that I will return….

My daughter Claire and her soulmate Michael got married on Saturday 21st September and we had our reception here in this absolutely amazing and beautiful hotel. I'm finding it difficult to put into words how special our day was. This was made possible by David and every single member of staff. The food was unreal. The service and kindness of the staff. The top table were treated like Royals. The whole ambience was just perfect. I want to thank each and everyone of you in this hotel for making my daughter and my new son in laws day so so special. The facilities and the breakfast were good. We especially liked the hospitality of the reception (the name of the employee is Wilson). He was always there for us to help us with or questions or requests. We have plans to visit Limerick strand hotel again.
Longcourt House Hotel
4.3/542 Reviews
The hotel is well located on the main road opposite the main bus stop. The rooms are spacious and modern without being flash. Everything works well and there's a good writing desk and light. There is a kettle and faciulities to make coffee or tea. There is an ironing board and iron. There is a safe for personal belongings. The rate includes a breakfast which is really comprehensive. Slightly unusual that juices are out to help oneself to but cereals have to be ordered from the kitchen. Wide choice of breakfasts. Soda bread can be substitutes for toast but that is not clear. Could make more items self-service and explain options. Tourists deserve to try the excellent soda bread available in Ireland. More could be done to talk up local produce too.
The Savoy Hotel

Beautiful hotel, we really enjoyed our stay. We had access to the executive lounge with our reservation , it was lovely to relax and enjoy a coffee and treats after a day out seeing the sights of the city. The breakfast was excellent and dinner in the restaurant was equally as good.
Limerick City Hotel
4/542 Reviews
I stayed here for one night while on tour of Ireland. Rooms were spotless, roomy, lovely toiletries. The view from the room of the river fabulous. Breakfast was awesome huge variety of hot and cold food. Staff very professional, accommodating, friendly and very helpful. Highly recommended. The male reception staff parked his red vehicle in bus zone out front of hotel, the tour bus unable to park bus to offload luggage and guests. The reception male staff was rude to driver and relunctant to move his car illegally parked. Eventually we moved witches hats he put around his car and bus was able to park to allow us to alight safely from the tour bus and obtain luggage to check in. Very rude and very entitled male reception staff.
The Old Quarter Townhouse
4/541 Reviews
A large group of us stayed here while attending a concert in the nearby milk market. The rooms were lovely and spacious. It worked out at about €60 per person with a really nice cooked breakfast, with 4 per room. The location was perfect but bare in mind it is over a bar so was noisy until the early hours. I would recommend to any one and would definitely recommend for a decent, cheap spot in the city. It was clean and well maintained. No parking on site but there was a multi-storey next door that was very reasonable.
