Great room very clean checked in very efficiently as well the staff were very helpful the only thing is that it is a little bit of a walk from the train stations so if you have big luggage just keep that in your mind but would for sure come again!

The location of the hotel is excellent,just a short walk from Kyoto Station, which made getting around the city incredibly convenient. Whether heading out for sightseeing or returning after a long day, transportation was always easy and accessible. The check-in and check-out processes were smooth and hassle-free, with clear instructions and efficient service. Overall, it was a very comfortable and convenient stay, especially for travelers who value accessibility and ease.

Location not the best and can find nearer to Kyoto station with same price. The location only good to go Nijojo castle, Toji Temple & Ginkako temple. Nothing much nearby, no night bars only a restaurant opposite it. The worst was no lift, for a female with 20 kg luggage, I have to carry it for 4 levels up and down all by myself. It’s understandable no space to install lift, but pls consider to install a luggage travel lift. Layout of the room is very good especially bath and toilet inside the room. Some may not like it cause ppl may back late night to bath and make noises. But I do like the single room layout with small dress up table before the capsule bed.

The location is super convenient. From JR Kyoto Station, take bus number 9 and get off at Shijo Horikawa. The bus stop is right in front of the hotel. There's also a 7-Eleven next door. The room isn't huge, but it's clean and tidy, and the front desk staff were very warm and attentive.

Very good experience (tourism trip). The location is quite good, close to the metro line, a lot of bus lines near, and a lot of attractions that can be reached by walk. Good breakfast buffet (with menu different every day of the week), friendly staff.

Fantastic room. The environment was very clean. The front desk provided small travel guide magazines, toothbrushes, and combs, and there were lockers available for temporary luggage storage. The communal washing machines were also very clean, though they could get a bit busy sometimes. The other guests were very friendly too. The Japanese staff member at the front desk was an absolute angel; when my suitcase broke as I was checking out, she found tape to help me secure it. The view from the window was lovely, and the area nearby was very quiet. In the mornings and evenings, residents walk their dogs around, and I even saw some super cute Shiba Inus.

The hotel boasts a fantastic location, making it easy to get anywhere. There's a bus stop right outside, and the subway is also very convenient. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Our room was very clean, though the lighting was a little dim. The small eatery directly across the street served delicious food and offered amazing value. Even though the menu wasn't extensive, we ended up going there twice!

I traveled with my daughter and chose a hotel not far from Kyoto Station, about 500-600 meters away. Right across from the hotel is Aeon, which made shopping for food and other necessities very convenient. There are also several bus stops around the hotel, making it easy to get anywhere. The entrance uses a passcode, and there's a washer-dryer on the first floor, though it's a bit pricey. There's also a water dispenser for drinking water. The room size is quite large for Japan and includes a refrigerator (for refrigeration only). With a table and chairs in the room, we could comfortably enjoy meals from the Aeon supermarket we bought back. Housekeeping is done every 3 days, and clean towels and toiletries can be picked up on the first floor. We stayed for 5 days and were very satisfied! I'd definitely choose this place again next time!

I had a great stay at Agora Kyoto Karasuma. The hotel has a calm, elegant atmosphere, and the rooms are thoughtfully designed with a minimalist Japanese style that feels both modern and cozy. The location is perfect, close to transportation, shops, and great local restaurants, which made getting around Kyoto very convenient. The staff were kind, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything I needed. Their hospitality made the experience even better. Overall, it was a wonderful stay, and I would definitely choose Agora Kyoto Karasuma again on my next visit to Kyoto.

Facilities: Well-equipped, spacious room with a cozy wooden design. Hygiene: Very clean, and the bathroom is large. Environment: Very close to the subway station, and the surrounding area is quiet. Service: Very welcoming, and they even gave us a small gift.
