Facilities: Pretty good. You can pick up cosmetic samples at the front desk yourself.
Hygiene: You leave your trash outside your door, and only towels are changed daily.
Environment: Quiet with no noise, and there's a convenience store right next door.
Service: Chinese-speaking staff are available, so communication is seamless.
I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff were warm, attentive, and always ready to help, creating a welcoming atmosphere from the moment I arrived. My room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with all the essentials provided. The facilities were impressive, especially the dining area and overall cleanliness throughout the property. Location was convenient, making it easy to explore nearby attractions and access transportation. Breakfast offered a good variety and everything tasted fresh. Overall, the hotel delivered great value for money, and I truly enjoyed my time here. I would happily return and highly recommend it to others.
This hotel is about a 10-15 minute walk from JR Sendai Station, or just one subway stop away. The front desk staff were incredibly welcoming, and communication in English was seamless. You need your key card to operate the elevator, which adds an extra layer of security. The room was surprisingly spacious for a business hotel, with new furnishings and a large bathroom. It even had a bay window, a small sofa, and a desk – truly a pleasant surprise! The bed was also very comfortable.
On the ground floor, you can pick up various amenities, including DHC cleansing oil and skincare products, and even bath salts and mouthwash.
There's a convenience store and McDonald's right outside the hotel, making dining very convenient. Many bus routes stop right outside, and there's also a highway bus terminal nearby, which makes getting to other places very easy.
I would definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Sendai.
I have comfy stay of 2 nights with Sotetsu Fresta Inn Sendai~ the location is very nice, walking for 1 minute you can reach Sendai Asaichi 仙台朝市, where they said it was the Sendai’s people kitchen. I have tried snacks like koroke (Saito Croquettes 齋藤惣菜店「ころっけや」 this is so good), beside the koreke shops there’s an uncle selling zunda mochi (edamame), and there’s a onigiri shop selling cheap and tasty onigiri just downstairs of the hotel. Very convenient to get to sendai station and there are a lot of combini/ restaurant/shopping places around. Room is clean and they provided laundry service too (but their dryer doesn’t seem working efficiently, I dried 6kg clothes for twice but still didn’t dry), yes they provided toiletries (including face mask and yuzu bath salt!), also there’s a free locker storage in lobby so you can storage you luggages and started to explore the beauty of sendai.
This hotel is a 10-minute walk from Sendai Station, with four or five convenience stores nearby. It's also very close to the Sendai Morning Market, and there's a free observation deck on the 30th floor of the building next door. Right outside the hotel, you'll find a wide variety of restaurants, including ramen shops, Chinese restaurants, and Japanese diners.
The lobby has a style reminiscent of the early 20th century, and the rooms are very well-maintained and feel new. The bathtub is large, and a particularly great feature is how fresh the air in the room feels; you won't feel stuffy even after spending a long time there. The windows on the 8th floor can also be opened. The only minor drawback is that the room lighting is a bit too bright and not very soft. Both the mattress and pillows are very comfortable, and the front desk staff are highly professional. The beverage vending machine prices are also cheaper than what you'd typically find at other hotels.
Very nice and clean. The public bath is a plus for travellers who wish to have one in an urban area. The cost per room per night is also very attractive!!!
This hotel is considered a premium property within the Dommy Inn group. You take off your shoes upon entering, and the room is quite spacious, comfortable, and cozy, with a separate wet and dry area in the bathroom. You can change into the room's yukata for dinner or to use the hot springs. They offer late-night ramen and complimentary cold drinks, including Yakult, after your bath. I stayed for three nights, and coming back from the cold outdoors truly felt like returning home – comfortable and relaxing.

The location is great, right in a shopping street, about a 15-minute walk from the station. There are plenty of shops nearby, making it very convenient for dining and other needs. The hotel uses a self-service check-in and check-out system at the front desk, and the overall experience was excellent. The room I booked this time was over 30 square meters, which is quite spacious for a Japanese hotel and offers great value for money. The facilities are also relatively new. I'm very satisfied with my stay.
We were to people during 3 nights.
The pictures are from after our stay, that’s why it’s a bit messy. It was very tidy and nice before we moved in for our stay.
It was quite close to the station and a lot of restaurants close by, and extremely close to the morning market as well, which was nice.
The room was very nice and clean. A little bit spacious as well. If you have a suitcase I think you maybe manage to open it somehow. We didn’t use any cleaning service. They also had a sign you could use if you didn’t want new towels (which I thought was good from the environmental perspective).
The people were nice and polite. The amenity was good as well. They had de basic stuff, which was good.
Overall we think we had a very nice stay at this hotel.

Amazing
WWangjingsanshaoGreat location, just a five-minute walk to Sendai Station. It's like an upgraded version of a Richmond Hotel, with newer facilities than the usual ones. They offer complimentary tea, coffee, drinks, and ice cream all day, plus noodles in the evening and free welcome drinks. There are also many gyutan (beef tongue) restaurants nearby.
GGuest UserExcellent! The hot springs were very comfortable. It's right next to Sapporo and the morning market station, with plenty of shops around. There are also many convenience stores nearby, and the hygiene was good.
XXilijiejieThis was my second stay here, and I honestly think their mattresses are the most comfortable I've ever slept on, even compared to luxury hotels. They offer the perfect balance of firmness and support for my back, making them incredibly cozy. That's actually why I decided to book here again. On another note, the breakfast was excellent! They had a great selection of fermented foods and plenty of plant-based options. The ox tongue curry soup with rice was absolutely amazing, and the crisp and tender kimchi was a pleasant surprise. I even had two bowls of miso soup!

GGuest UserJust a 5-minute walk from the JR station. The front desk staff were really enthusiastic and even upgraded our room! It came with a massage chair, which was super comfortable. The room itself was quite spacious, and the hotel facilities were new and very clean. The only downside was the lack of a hot spring, which was a bit of a miss.

GGuest UserThe hotel staff were incredibly helpful, and even the cleaning team offered warm greetings, creating a very pleasant atmosphere throughout. The amenities were plentiful, and above all, the room was spotlessly clean. What truly impressed me was that the room came fully equipped with ReFa brand essentials: a straightener, curling iron, hairdryer, and even a ReFa shower head – it was absolutely fantastic! The excellent location was another huge plus, with plenty of shops and restaurants nearby, which was incredibly convenient.
GGuest UserLocation a little away from the centre, no that easy to get to but in a quiet residential area. Very friendly staff with good service. Also allowed to leave baggage after check in. The lady who helped with that also had perfect English. Unfortunately I ended up at a time where the prices were extortionate due to some event happening but this was the most affordably priced option without sacrificing too much, also one of the very few with rooms available at that time too. Happy with this and would recommend if you don't mind a bit of distance to the centre.
