Great location and great hotel. Very accessible and near to malls and attractions. The hotel has amazing restaurants from fine dining to more affordable food halls - you’ll really never go hungry! 😊And if you’re planning to watch sports games at The Stadium, the hotel has direct access to premium boxes 😊 you’re watching without really leaving the hotel. It’s really the best place to stay. Also, the tram and other public transports are just a walk away!
This is the largest hotel I've stayed at in Japan, even bigger than ones costing 1300 yen. If you're coming to Japan, you absolutely must stay at this hotel in Nagasaki. The location is excellent, right in Chinatown, and there are buses going everywhere. It's just a one-minute walk if you turn right out of the hotel.
I hadn't booked a hotel and wanted to challenge myself and test Trip.com. When I asked at the hotel, it was 330 RMB per night. I had seen it online for 180 RMB, and by the time I checked out, it was a little over 230 RMB, which is still much cheaper than booking directly. Trip.com is reliable. I've always stuck with Trip.com. Because the hotel was so good, I decided to stay an extra day in Nagasaki. On the second day, a Saturday, the price went up to 280 RMB. I'm not sure what the price would have been if I'd booked it the day before, so I can't say. Also, to get to Spectacles Bridge, you just walk right out of the hotel for about six minutes.
I had a very pleasant stay at Hotel New Nagasaki. The staff were exceptionally helpful, accommodating, and made the overall experience smooth from check-in to check-out. The location is also very convenient as it’s close to the bus stop and within easy walking distance of Nagasaki Station, which made getting around very easy.
One thing to note is that some rooms still have an older design and may not exactly match the photos shown online. While the room was still comfortable and functional, it’s something to keep in mind when booking.
Overall, a great stay for convenience and service
The room wasn't that small, and shampoo and conditioner were all provided! Toothbrushes and razors were available for pick-up at the lobby on the first floor. The location was also good because I could come right away after sightseeing around Izuhara Port, and it was close to shopping! However, the towels had a musty smell, so I felt a little uncomfortable. The bedding was clean.
The onsen is very good. The breakfasts were enjoyable and of his quality. The free noodle snacks were very thoughtful. The rooms were well appointed and clean with comfortable mattresses & pillows. Service was attentive and polite. Overall a very enjoyable stay.
I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The staff were very polite and always helpful, making the experience comfortable from check-in to check-out. The breakfast buffet was excellent, offering a rich choice of food to suit different tastes.
The location is also very convenient, with a bus stop and Family Mart just outside the hotel, which made getting around and picking up daily necessities very easy. I especially appreciated the onsen facilities, which were clean, relaxing, and a highlight of my stay.
The hotel is only a three to four minute walk from the train station, which was a lifesaver for my exhausted self. It's clean, and the brand-new facilities are a refreshing change from typical Japanese hotels. It's also great value for money and super convenient for shopping.
We are coming with family occupied two rooms. Front office staff are very nice and arrange us on the same floor. The rooms are big enough to open two large suitcases. The double bed is so huge that can sleep three people. The only complaint is the car park arrangement, this information need to post in the website for us to aware in advance as the carpark is not on the same building and there is no space to park the car for unloading the luggages. The front office staff only tell us we cannot drive through the building at that time cars cannot enter. We need to park to two designated parking areas which make us in a hurry to drive away the car.
The room facilities are brand new. Each floor has an ice maker, and a microwave is conveniently available on the ground floor. It's located near a FamilyMart and a 7-Eleven, and just a 5-minute walk from the tram station. There's even an eggplant ramen shop nearby. Overall, I was extremely satisfied with my stay here.

AAnonymous UserHotel is near to train station and bus station. About 1 hour by bus to/from Nagasaki airport, 2 hours by train to Nagasaki station. Consider far if want to go to Nagasaki downtown area. It is just beside the theme park so staying here for theme park is ideal. Hotel serves good breakfast and has in-house onsen. The staff was helpful to suggest route for me to go to airport as I need to catch an early flight. Hope to come back again to explore more area around the hotel.
GGuest UserYou can spend the entire stay without meeting any staff from check-in to check-out. It's great for a place to just sleep, as it's cheap and well-equipped. There's a shower and toilet in the room, which is convenient. There's also a washing machine and dryer. The only thing that's a bit of a hassle is that you can't exchange money and you have to remove the sheets.
__M1355235****It's located on a pretty steep hill, and there isn't much commercial activity around. You'll need to take a bus to get into the city center. There's a bus stop right outside the hotel, conveniently named after the hotel itself. Make sure you get off at that stop; getting off even one or two stops earlier will mean a steep climb.
It's not far from the summit of Mount Inasa, and there's a direct bus. If you miss the bus after enjoying the night view, a taxi back to the hotel is only about a 5-minute ride and reasonably priced.
The hotel's own free rooftop observation deck is absolutely amazing, and enjoying a drink and the night view in the lounge is also very pleasant.
There's a shuttle bus service from the hotel to Nagasaki Station.
There's also a hot spring (onsen).

AAnonymous User* Room size is a little bit small
* Breakfast food was quite delicious, but the food choices are too few
* The location is so close to the tram and bus stop, so it's really helpful when traveling alone.
* Many restaurants and there's a shopping mall too near the hotel.
* Quite close to tourist spots
NngesanStayed one night in this hotel, the interior is new and clean. The mini self service cafe at the reception is very welcoming, they even provide take away cup for guests to bring the coffee/tea to the room, I find this is a thoughtful gesture.
This hotel has good variety of amenities, the room is compact and functional, good for solo travelers. There is a microwave in the room to heat up the food, and humidifier at the common area if you ever needed one. I personally like the public bath a lot, especially the outdoor pool. The room has the body wash and shampoo, other toiletries can be self service from the reception.
Not forget about the location, just a stone throw away from 2 tram stations, basically you could travel around Nagasaki from these 2 tram stations.
One thing worth mentioning is, the bus no 5 that goes to Inasa-yama park cable care and slope care station, is just few minutes from the hotel, which is a pleasant surprise and saves me a lot of time when I was trying to find my way to the park.
Overall, I had a pleasant stay in this hotel, highly recommend it!

BBoganThis hotel boasts a wonderful location in a picturesque part of the city, right next to Glover Garden. It's the only hotel here, and it's truly magnificent. Housed in a meticulously restored historic building, it features modern amenities and offers stunning bay views. Everything you need for a comfortable stay and pleasant strolls around the area is here. The rooms are spacious with luxurious interiors and comfortable beds. Every detail has been thought of, from the coffee machine and bathrobes to all the toiletries. Getting here might be a bit of a trek, as the hotel is on a hill, about a 10-15 minute uphill walk from public transport stops. However, this is more than compensated for by its incredibly quiet location, free from bustling traffic and crowds. I'd like to give a special shout-out to one of the hotel staff, Peiyun Lin! She is an exceptional professional with excellent English (she's from Taiwan), gracious, and competent – an ideal employee. She responded instantly to our problem when we found a large cockroach in the bathroom! She arrived quickly with special products to treat the area. If only there were more employees like her! Thank you!
GGuest UserThe hotel is clean, checked on was fast. Room was spacious and has many USB ports for charging Ur handphone all round the room so no need for adapter.
Parking was limited but there are public parking near the hotel and a family mart opposite the hotel with a 5 mins walk.
Breakfast is good but limited course.
Overall stay was good n happy.
