Rooms in Japan are generally small, but this one was clean and had everything I needed. There's no daily housekeeping; you have to put used towels and trash bins outside your door for staff to collect. They'll then hang fresh towels on your doorknob. You can pick up toothbrushes and toothpaste at the front desk. They also have a scale there for weighing luggage, and a microwave in their office if you need help heating something up. Vending machines on the 2nd and 13th floors make it convenient to grab a drink.

I had a fantastic experience here! The hotel is exceptionally clean throughout, which I truly appreciated.
My room was spacious and beautifully maintained, feeling fresh and new.
The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a perfect night's sleep.
Everything worked flawlessly, from the quiet air conditioning to the fast Wi-Fi.
Highly recommend this hotel for a comfortable and spotless stay.

The hotel is located in the business district, just a short walk from the subway station. I did my research beforehand, so I knew that check-in was upstairs. There are plenty of restaurant choices nearby, and some famous local ramen places have a much better ambiance than those in Shinsaibashi. The only drawback is that the room was a bit small, but it was clean and the soundproofing was decent.

I always stay here every time I'm on a business trip to Osaka. This time, my stay was fantastic! The room was clean and tidy, the facilities were complete and working perfectly, and the comfortable bedding helped me shake off my travel fatigue. The front desk service was warm and efficient, and the breakfast offered a rich and delicious variety. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I visit this city!

The room was nice and quite clean. If you like quiet and want to be far from the elevator, make sure to tell the front desk, and they'll arrange it for you. Then, you just need to select a few buttons at the self-service machine.
The transportation is incredibly convenient. I came here for a few day trips, and their parking is right across from the hotel. The location is excellent, with Shinsaibashi right to the right. It's a bit of a walk to Namba Station, but otherwise, everything was perfect. It was also reasonably clean.

The hotel room was quite spacious for Japanese standards, and it was a convenient walk to the subway station. The TV in the room wasn't directly facing the bed, but rather the sofa side. Overall, this hotel offers great value for money and I'd recommend it for travelers. The cleanliness was excellent, and both check-in and check-out were very smooth. They even deliver all your luggage to your room, so the service is fantastic.

We stayed for six nights. The hotel was a bit far from the train station, but it offered the best view. Overall, I would say it was wonderful: a big bed, a clean room, and nice, friendly staff.
The only thing we didn't like was that the breakfast wasn't that good. We found there was not much variety, the same food everyday (with only a few changes), a lack of staff, too many people, and food shortages everyday of our stay
Locals don’t usually come here to sleep — they come to wash, relax, and go through the full spa ritual.
There are three types of steam rooms, a circular shower, and three baths:
two hot ones at around 41°C, and one cold shock bath at around 11°C.
You dip in and instantly feel alive.
One unique feature — every hour they run a group steam ritual, like a collective massage & heat therapy session. Very Japanese, and surprisingly affordable. Definitely worth trying.
There’s also an inexpensive breakfast option, plus vending machines with food and drinks right inside — very convenient.
Overall, it’s a men-only vibe: arrive, clean up, relax, reset, and go about your day.
The capsule is just a bonus on top of the sauna experience.
They give you clothing — not a robe, but loose Japanese pants and an oversized T-shirt.
You get your own locker, bedding and clothes are changed daily, and the bathrooms have literally everything: toothbrush, toothpaste, gels, shampoo… even nail clippers. You don’t need to bring anything.
Location is fantastic — right next to Dotonbori. Step outside and you’re instantly in the heart of Osaka’s nightlife and energy.
Downsides?
A strict checkout — you must leave at 10:00 AM, and check-in starts only after 3:00 PM.
If you want to stay during that gap, it’s around 300 yen per hour, or ~900 yen for the day.
Still — great experience. I always wanted to try a real Japanese capsule stay.
Inside the capsule there’s a TV, radio, adjustable lights, and AC — though it blasts pretty strongly, so I turned it off.

This is my second time staying here. Japanese hotels generally have smaller rooms, which is understandable. This hotel is located right in Shinsaibashi, within walking distance. The room is small but charming, clean, and tidy. The only downside is the poor soundproofing; I could hear people laughing next door all night, which was a bit unsettling. Then, around 8 AM, someone suddenly came in to clean the room – I'm not sure what that was about...

Great
MMeitounaohahahahaThis is one of the few hotels in Japan with a 12 PM checkout, which is great. There's a Christmas tree downstairs that adds a lovely atmosphere. We went to the theme park on our second day, and this hotel is the closest one to it – the entrance is right downstairs! Food options are also very convenient. I highly recommend the fried beef cutlet, it was absolutely delicious! Our clothes got soaked on the Jurassic ride, which was totally unexpected, but thankfully we could just pop back to the hotel to change. You just need to get a stamp from the staff at the entrance to re-enter the park. I hope to bring my kids here next time and will definitely stay here again!
DDingmaomisThe room design was modern and minimalist, making excellent use of the space, and it was spotless. My only minor complaint was that the air conditioning unit was a bit noisy, which unfortunately led to a restless first night. I particularly enjoyed the outdoor lounge on the ground floor. The Western-style set breakfast was also quite delicious. Overall, I was very satisfied with this hotel.

Amazing
MMengmengmamaChoosing InterContinental Osaka was hands down the smartest decision I made!
The location is absolutely phenomenal! A shopper's paradise! Major malls and flagship stores are right downstairs, making it incredibly convenient to get all your favorite items in one go!
The rooms are incredibly spacious! In Japan, where space is a premium, the InterContinental's rooms feel like a true luxury. We booked a king room and even added an extra bed, and it still didn't feel cramped at all! The bathroom was also large and bright, and being able to lie down and gaze at Osaka's vibrant cityscape made it absolutely worth it!
The service was exceptionally thoughtful! From check-in to check-out, every single staff member was polite, attentive, and incredibly detail-oriented. The front desk, housekeeping, concierge... even the parking and luggage storage services were absolutely faultless!
When checking out, they even proactively offered to weigh my luggage. The most delightful surprise was when a staff member wished me ”Gong Xi Fa Cai” in Chinese – it felt so incredibly welcoming!
It truly proved to be a brilliant choice to stay at InterContinental Osaka! Next time I'm in Osaka, I'm definitely booking this place again!
Mabilis mag-assist at very approachable.Perfect ang hotel na ito for families, couples, or even solo travelers. Babalik kami ulit for sure!
GGuest UserThis hotel is a great choice for short stays, especially if you’re looking for convenience and privacy. The location is excellent—just under a 5-minute walk from Tengachaya Station, making it easy to access public transportation. There is also direct train from Kansai Airport to Tengachaya station, without transfer - bonus point if you arrived from KIX. There’s also a 7-Eleven nearby that offers Yamato luggage delivery service, which is very handy if you're traveling with heavy bags.
The hotel operates as a fully self-service property, with no staff at the front desk. Check-in is straightforward—they’ll email you a passcode to access your mailbox, where you’ll find your room key.
Rooms are compact, as is typical in Osaka, but very clean and feel quite new. The bed has storage space underneath, which is perfect for stowing large suitcases. Amenities are basic (toothbrush, comb, shaver), and you can pick them up at the front desk area, which also has a microwave available if you want to heat up food.
One thing to note: there’s no coin laundry on-site, so if you’re staying for an extended period, plan accordingly. The room brochure mentions a luggage delivery service, but I didn’t receive a reply when I tried to contact them using provided number.
Overall, it’s a solid option for short stays—comfortable, private, and very conveniently located near transit and services.

GGuest UserI booked this hotel quite last minute before my trip, and I was pleasantly surprised by how great it was. After reading some reviews, I opted for a twin room for more space, and even though it's near a main road, it was very quiet at night. The room was clean and tidy, and housekeeping came daily. The hotel offers a variety of self-service toiletries you can pick up, and a special touch I appreciated was the complimentary overnight face masks. Downstairs, there's a large AEON food supermarket, and the Shiyobashi Subway Station Exit 2 is just a short walk away. Getting to Shinsaibashi only takes a few minutes. It's incredibly convenient for getting anywhere – truly a hotel that has it all!

MM49235****The hotel shares facilities with Spa World. When I visited, it was decorated for Christmas. The room itself was decent, but they don't provide slippers, which was a bit inconvenient. For dining, you can eat at the large cafeteria on the third floor of Spa World or at one of their other restaurants. There's a good variety of choices, and the prices are reasonable.
GGuest UserStaying at this hotel because of my 9 AM flight the next day was a brilliant decision! There's a free shuttle bus to the airport, and check-in was super convenient – just make an appointment. The views outside are stunning, and you can even go shopping at the outlet mall. I even caught a beautiful sunset there!
GGuest UserWe had a really enjoyable 4-night stay at Mercure Tokyu Stay Osaka Namba. The room was clean, modern, and comfortable, and the housekeeping team kept everything spotless throughout our stay. The location was excellent — just a few minutes’ walk to shopping and plenty of shops and eateries nearby, which made exploring Osaka very convenient.
Service staff were all very friendly and efficient, and they were always ready to help with directions or recommendations.
Overall, a pleasant and comfortable stay. We would happily return the next time we visit Osaka.
