"It had been 34 years since I last stayed in Saitama Prefecture. My purpose this time was to visit Kawagoe, famous for its 'Little Edo' charm. I thoroughly enjoyed the scenery, including 'Toki no Kane' (Bell of Time), which preserves some of the Edo period townscape. Next time, I'd like to visit the Railway Museum in Omiya, so I plan to organize that trip through this site. I appreciate your help in advance!"

"I stayed at this hotel when I had an exam at a nearby venue. I forgot something I needed and consulted the hotel staff. Even though it was the middle of the night, the front desk staff member went out of his way to help me, and thanks to him, I was able to safely make it to the exam venue the next morning. I am so grateful and touched that I received such warm hospitality outside of hotel duties. The facilities are great, the breakfast is delicious, and the staff are all wonderful."

"It's almost directly connected to the station, and there's a convenience store next door. There's a large public bath. They even have late-night soba noodles.
I can see why it's so popular.
However, perhaps because it's so popular, or perhaps because there are no other hotels, there are a lot of customers. When I went to the public bath quite late at night, it was so crowded that there were no spaces available for washing. They didn't anticipate something like that, and it's probably something you've never experienced at any other hotel, so I guess the hotel didn't anticipate it either. It was a surreal situation, with everyone lined up naked in the changing room. The bathtub was big, but not that big, so it almost ended up being a family bath with strangers.
The bed springs are a bit too soft, it's starting to hurt my back."

"I booked a twin room with breakfast for two nights. The room size was decent for Saitama. The location is great, very close to JR Omiya station, making it super convenient for getting around. The top floor has a large public bath, which was perfect for relaxing after a tiring day of sightseeing. The hotel breakfast was also good, with both Japanese and Western options. The scrambled eggs were especially delicious, and there was a wide variety of dishes. Definitely recommended! The only downside is that there are too few washing machines – only three – so you pretty much have to fight for one if you want to do laundry."

"Handy and easy walkable distance from JR Omiya Station which is just 30 minute train from Tokyo central. User-friendly and hassle-free self-check-in machine at the hotel lobby only costed me 3 minutes to get the room card. Hotel interior design is cosy with good vibe. Room is decent and spotless. "I booked this hotel in order to go to My Neighbor Totoro Forest, which was unexpectedly good.
Breakfast is really worth the price. It costs more than 2,900 yen for a separate order. It is recommended that you choose the breakfast.
The breakfast place overlooks Mount Fuji. It is a Japanese-style breakfast, one serving per person. There are many types, rich in nutrients and delicious, delicious!
Also, the hotel has a public hot spring. We went there at night. There were not many people and it was very comfortable.
In short, I felt very surprised. The room was large and there was a small table for drinking tea. There was floor heating under the small table, which was very good.
The only thing that must be picky is that the decoration is a bit old, but the quilt is very clean. I don't think it will affect my praise of him.

"The hotel is a five-minute walk from Omiya Station, which is a major plus as it's very close to the subway. There are also frequent trains to the city center, and plenty of dining, entertainment, and shopping options nearby, including a beautiful large park! The service was truly outstanding. I asked the front desk for local food recommendations, and they quickly printed out a food map for me. There were quite a few tour groups staying there, but my room was spacious and comfortable, and being on a high floor offered beautiful views. If you need cleaning, you just need to let the front desk know in advance. On the downside, it's quite a distance from central Tokyo, requiring multiple transfers, so you need to pay attention to your directions. Also, there's a cemetery nearby, and you can see it from the room if you open the window. Something to consider if that bothers you."

AArum Octaviani Hadi MulyonoThe hotel is in a perfect location, not far from Kawagoe Station, Kawagoe-shi Station, or Hon-Kawagoe Station. It takes about 7–9 minutes to walk from any of these stations. The hotel is clean, well-maintained, and appears quite new.
The food is good, and what I loved most was the hot-spring bath.
During my stay, I was surprised to see a female guest brushing her teeth while in the hot-spring bath. She may have been a foreign visitor who was unfamiliar with local bathing etiquette. Regardless, this was an isolated incident and did not affect my overall experience.
I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.
P.S.: The train is seibu line departing from Hon-Kawagoe.

GGuest User4 Senior backpackers in Japan ”stumbled” onto this gem of a Japanese inn next to the Arakawa River. Less than 10 minute walk from the Kami-Nagatoro station and 10 minute walk to Nagatoro Station. We chose location due to proximity to river and start of river boat downstream river ride-sites. We were pleasantly surprised by the hospitality shown throughout our two-day stay. We were late in coming out of the mountains of Gunma prefecture (2 hour plus train ride away) and called the inn to notify and were subsequently told that this was no problem for check-in and supper. Fortunately we made up time lost and got to the inn earlier that expected and enjoyed the serene tree-lined river and men's and women's communal furo (shower/bath also in rooms) with outdoor views before dining. Then...we were overwhelmed by the quality and quantity of the dinner! A real treat to get a 7+ course Japanese meal featuring the specialty vegetables and protein of the region! Upon departure we chose to walk with packs back to Kami-Nagatoro Station, along the river, but the proprietor had the Inn van ready and waiting to take us to the train station. The included breakfast's were also multi-course Japanese style, with regional specialties.
Granted, the hotel is somewhat time-worn, probably seeing its zenith in the 80's and 90's but all the facilities were cleaning, usable and safe. All staff went made a great effort to ensure that we were enjoying the locale and the Inn. This location, in our opinion is much more serene and ”touristy” than the main area surrounding Nagatoro station but is only 10 minutes walking from that action. If opportunity arises, we will return. The Saitama Museum of Natural is just across the street but this large and modern facility was not open on our late arrival and on Monday. We left on Tuesday morning, but wanted to visit this place also.

The capsule itself was spacious enough to change clothes comfortably, though you couldn't stand up. It even had a TV. The free snacks were varied and you could read manga, which was a nice touch. There were always staff present, and the female-only area required a key card for entry, making it feel very safe. I'll definitely use this place again.

GGuest UserOur stay at Hotel Green Core was absolutely exceptional from start to finish! If you are traveling with a family, I cannot recommend this hotel enough.
Here is why we loved it so much:
- Incredibly Kid-Friendly: Traveling with young kids (a 7-year-old and a 3-year-old) can be challenging, but this hotel made everything so smooth and relaxing for us. The atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and they really understand how to accommodate families.
-Spotlessly Clean: Cleanliness is always my top priority, and this place exceeded all expectations. The rooms and common areas were perfectly maintained and immaculate, which gave me such peace of mind.
-Flawless Experience: Literally everything was good. The service, the comfort, the attention to detail—it was all just perfect and well thought out.
We had a wonderful time here and it made our trip so much easier and more enjoyable. A true 10/10 experience, we will definitely be back!

從酒店到秩父鐵道秩父站或者西武秩父站都有一小時一班的送迎bus
房間為桔梗，很寬敞
非常可惜的是，露天澡堂不是温泉水，只有大澡堂是用的温泉水
晚餐感覺有些無趣，埼玉縣不臨海，所以海鮮不太好吃，甚至還有魔芋刺身在充數，也許可以在肉類上加強!!
我很喜歡聊天，但在這裏沒有很體會到工作人員的服務，總感覺對別的旅客比對我更加熱情。比如對某兩位客人就幫他們提着包介紹到房間….希望是我的錯覺。
武蔵國の埼玉で1日を過ごしました!
秩父に來て温泉を楽しみたくて、ホテル美やまに宿泊しました。
泊まったお部屋は「桔梗」というお部屋で、とても広々としていました。
ただ、少し殘念だったのは、露天風呂が温泉ではなく普通のお湯だったことです。温泉水を使っているのは大浴場だけでした。
タ食は少し物足りない感じがしました。埼玉県は海なし県だからか、海鮮の味はイマイチでしたし、こんにやくの刺身が出てきてちょっと量稼ぎっばい印象も……。その分、肉料理をもっと充実させてほしいなと思いました!スタッフさんのサ一ビスについてですが、普段私はおしやベりが好きなのに、ここではあまり交流を感じられなかったのが少し殘念でした。また、他のお客さんヘの対応の方が丁寧に見えたのも気になりました。例えば、あるお二人の宿泊客には荷物を持って部屋まで案內していたようで……。きっと気のせいだと信じたいです!

The room size is much larger than that of the hotel in the city center. It is very clean. Although the room does not have a bathroom, it is not a problem at all. The bathhouse environment is also very good. You can also take a comfortable bath. As you can see in the picture, I will definitely stay here again next time I go to Tokyo.
