"I'm quite particular about choosing rooms, and this place, both in terms of cleanliness and environment, met my expectations. The room was very spacious! It had a toilet, but the showers were communal, with separate facilities for men and women. Initially, I was a bit hesitant, but I arrived two days before the National Day holiday, so there weren't many people. When I showered, I was all alone! The hot spring water was also very comfortable, and the conditioner in the shower room was amazing – my hair felt so nourished and smooth afterwards! (See photo 8!) I wanted to ask the owner for the brand, but I forgot before leaving. The public areas of the inn were also very clean. You have to change into slippers upon entering, and you can bring your own. The owner is Chinese, so communication was very easy. In the morning, we couldn't get a taxi, and it was the owner's friend who drove us to the station. The price was cheaper than a taxi, and he patiently helped us check the nearest bus schedule to Tokyo and even found a super cheap place to store our luggage. They were truly wonderful and warm-hearted people! Although we chose a mountain view room, we didn't get to see Mount Fuji due to the weather, but soaking in the hot springs was still very comfortable! I'll definitely come back if I have the chance."

The hotel is brand new and everything you can possibly think of has been provided.
The location couldn’t be better.
- It’s across the road from Fujiyoshida Bus and Train Terminal, making transport easy from anywhere. (Note, there’s no noise from being this close to a busy bus and train station)

We stayed here before and after climbing Mount Fuji and couldn’t have asked for anything more. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful throughout our stay.
One of the best parts of this hotel is the roof terrace. It provides a private space overlooking Mount Fuji!
The hotel was extremely clean and provided lots of nice amenities.
Fujiyoshida is quieter and less touristy than neighbouring towns and has lots of nice cafe’s and local restaurants.

"A lovely ryokan located about 8 minutes drive from Kawaguchiko station. The ryokan provide shuttle bus during check in, to call upon arrival (I called via trip.com internet call) and wait at platform number 10 for pick up. They also provide free shuttle bus service to oishi park (schedule would be informed during checkingin), and free pick up from Kawaguchiko station everyday during our stay.
The staff were helpful and friendly English and mandarin speaking staff are available. The service was great, as this was my first time staying in a Japanese ryokan, so I wasn't sure if every ryokan provide the same service that there is a staff led us to our room and explained the amenities to us during checking in.
The breakfast and dinner was superb! We were so amazed by the breakfast and dinner everyday.
The room is equipped with fridge, ice water in jug, complimentary drinks and cookies, private shower, towels, hair dryer and outdoor slipper. You can wear yukata that was provided to move around the hotel.
The room window and restaurant is facing directly at lake Kawaguchiko, unfortunately it was cloudy during my stay and we couldn't catch any fujisan view.
There are indoor and outdoor onsen, with the outdoor onsen offering a Mount Fuji view. Changing room has locker but make sure u bring your room towel to the onsen. And like the other onsen in Japan, facial cleanser, hair shampoo, conditioner and body wash are available. The changing room is also equipped with facial cleanser, moisturiser, body lotion, hairdryer, and comb."

This hotel is supposed to be able to view the beautiful Mr Fuji but because it has been raining and cloudy the past few days, we were not able to see Mt Fuji from this hotel but our room faces the great ocean and that was good. "Hotel Room: Features a built-in sauna, and offers stunning views of Mount Fuji directly from the room. Fuji appears incredibly large and close to the naked eye. The room decor is very tasteful.
Hotel Location: Situated on the lower-left side of Lake Yamanakako on the map. There's a bus stop right outside (though buses are infrequent). Within a 2-minute walk, there's a delicious hamburg steak restaurant. A 7-Eleven is about 5-10 minutes away, and you can rent bicycles near the 7-Eleven (the hotel also offers bike rentals, but they are mountain bikes, not electric, costing 2000 yen per hour or 4000 yen per day). If you walk another 10-15 minutes, you can feed swans in a designated area managed by locals (a family of three needs to buy one portion of swan food for 200 yen).
Cycling: From the hotel, it takes about 30-50 minutes to cycle to Hirano no Hama (there are many great photo spots along the way, so you don't necessarily have to go all the way to Hirano no Hama, where the wind is incredibly strong). I recommend cycling clockwise on the map and then returning the same way."

JunfaI had a great stay at this hotel. The room was very clean, well-maintained, and comfortable, which made it easy to relax after a long day. One of the best things about this place is its location—it’s just a short walk from the train station, making it extremely convenient for getting around the city.
The staff were polite and helpful, and check-in was quick and smooth. Even though it’s close to the station, the room was quiet and peaceful at night. Overall, this hotel is a great choice if you’re looking for a clean, convenient, and hassle-free stay. I would definitely come back again.

Truly enjoyed staying in Toki, everything from check in to check out was ideal. Very welcoming people, provided us with everything we needed - all explanations, etc. As a compliment we had a tasty Fuji cake and some sweets, also full minibar is provided! - Water, soda, beer, tea, coffee (beans and drip). House was well equipped, fresh and comfortable. If you need an iron you can ask for it. We enjoyed breakfasts at our rooftop terrace, with beautiful Fuji view . Very cool bathtub with special system and also Fuji view! Very sad to leave and hope to come back!

brayden_foongIt was definitely an enjoyable and worthy experience of traditional ryokan with tatami and futon with the best view of Mt. Fuji from the room window! The hotel itself overlooks parts of Mt. Fuji with Lake Kawaguchiko, and we even added on dinner and breakfast during the stay! They are simply one of the best meals during the trips in Tokyo! The onsen is another bonus to enjoy while seeing the view of Mt Fuji, even though it is public hot spring which might be a culture shock. Definitely worth to try it out again to enjoy the traditional Japan vibes around Lake Kawaguchiko.

2. You get a full view of Mount Fuji right from the balcony window.
3. The staff were super friendly, and they even had Chinese-speaking staff members.
4. The hot springs on the fifth floor have both indoor and outdoor options. You can enjoy the views of Mount Fuji while you soak.
5. Both breakfast and dinner provided by the hotel were surprisingly delicious, and there was a good variety too.
6. They offer a shuttle service to and from Kawaguchiko Station. Just make sure to look for the shuttle with three hotel names printed on it. You'll need to remember the hotel's English name to identify it correctly, otherwise, you might end up waiting a long time at the station.
I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit Mount Fuji!

I booked this hotel because the promotion made it seem luxurious, but the surroundings feel odd, almost like all the trees have been removed by purpose, littered with dry leaves and fallen branches. It feels dirty and poorly cared for. I was expecting a neatly landscaped area with grass and trees, but instead, the outside feels like a barren, lifeless space.
That said, the inside of the room looks very good. The accommodation consists of two separate large caravan‑style rooms. They are not very spacious, but they are sufficient for a family of four. One of the rooms has slightly less living space because it includes a larger bathroom, with a full‑size bathtub. This is something you rarely find in Tokyo, where most bathtubs are quite small, so this was a pleasant surprise. Unfortunately, we struggled with the bathtub controls as it was written in Japanese, we couldn't use it after all. Also, the heating system are all labeled in Japanese, and there were no clear instructions in English. As a result, we didn’t figure out how to use the heating until the second night. We stayed for two nights in total.
There is an outdoor spa area, which is interesting and enjoyable. We used it and found it quite good, although it is small. It works best for two people, three is a tight squeeze, and four would be uncomfortable. The sauna is decent and operates daily.
Breakfast is served at set times rather than as a buffet, likely because the hotel only has 14 rooms. Guests must choose a time slot, such as 7:00, 7:30, 8:00, 8:30. We chose 8:30.
Breakfast is a set menu rather than self‑service. Each morning includes a starter, a main dish, and some small item to finish, well enough for us. The first day was Japanese‑style, with a rice‑based dish. The second day was Western‑style, with a sandwich as the main course and fried eggs with pork belly. The food tasted good, but we would have appreciated more water. We did not ask for refills, as staff left the area after serving.
Finding the hotel is a bit difficult. The entrance sign is blocked by a car park sign, making it very easy to miss. You need to drive very slowly, or you will pass it without realising it. We spent several minutes searching before realising this was the place. Be prepared to see a car park with two signs, where one directly blocks the hotel’s entrance sign.

The staff at Fuji Premium Resort went above and beyond to help us when we had some difficulties.
When we went it was snowing hard and had been involved in a minor car accident. The staff kept registration open late, got us food at no extra charge from the gift shop because the dining area was closed, and arranged transportation for us to get back to our car the next day because it was not able to get up the hill in the icy conditions and no other cost.
The rooms were nice and comfortable and the buffet breakfast in the morning was delicious.
Would absolutely stay with them again.

If you're traveling as a large family, it's recommended to inquire about room availability with the hotel, as each floor has different room types. If you're a family of more than 4 and book the same room type, you might end up on different floors. We were a group of 7 and booked two deluxe rooms, but we were on different floors, probably because each floor

Lih ShinI had a wonderful stay at Hotel Mount Fuji. The highlight was definitely the view from my room's balcony, where I could see both Mt. Fuji and Lake Yamanakako. Waking up to such a beautiful scenery was unforgettable.

Breakfast offered a great variety of choices, and the floor-to-ceiling windows in the dining area provided a stunning view of Mt. Fuji while enjoying the meal.
The hotel is located on top of a hill, so getting there by public transportation can be a little challenging. As a solo traveler without a car, I really appreciated the complimentary shuttle service, which picked me up from the 7-Eleven at the bottom of the hill.
