Matar Residence Hotel

Upon check-in, I was greeted by the warm and attentive staff who ensured a seamless process. As I entered my suite, I was immediately struck by the sheer elegance and sophistication of the space. The suite was impeccably designed with plush furnishings, rich fabrics, and tasteful artwork adorning the walls. The living area was spacious and thoughtfully laid out, perfect for relaxing or entertaining guests. The bedroom exuded comfort and tranquility, with a sumptuous king-sized bed draped in the finest linens, ensuring a restful night's sleep. The marble-clad bathroom was a sanctuary in itself, featuring a deep soaking tub, a rainfall shower, and luxurious amenities that added to the overall indulgence.

Before booking we have checked online for the price for two nights for 90,721 LBP but actual price for two nights for 120,000. We went to check the hotel and room before booking and agreed on a specific room, and the manager jean told us that there is a restaurant there that plays music, but apparently it was a night club. Once we arrived, we got the room card and a paper for the internet. the internet didnt work for the whole weekend though we asked for another pin, we asked for one bed, we got one bed with two uncomfortable mattresses that we couldnt sleep till next day, and so does the pillows very sharp like stones-alike, We ordered several times for slippers from the room service, the reception(from 3 staff actually), the IT.. And we didnt receive any, We asked from the room service to open a bottle of wine, and he was trying to open it on the floor in front of our door, And the most outrageous situation is that at 1 am in the morning there was a loud and awful type of music that stayed till 5h30 in the morning and we knew this info when i called the receptionat 2 am and informed him about my complaint plus the mattress and pillow and he said quoting:” i am sorry we are fully booked, this is a night club that stays till 5h30 or 6h00 in the morning and every day and if i have any checkout rooms tomorrow i might change your room”, Not to mention the loud sound of the ac and the mini bar. Guys, we didnt sleep all night The next day, i have informed the reception about my complaint, she was a kind women, and agreed to change my room, this was about time of 10h30 in the morning, and didnt received the next room until 6pm, we had to wait a lot of time for the check in, When we received the other room, the mattress was king sized but covered with a noisy sheet because the mattress was not clean( we have checked it), also we asked for slippers and did not receive Also the view from this room was a landfill, so imagine But the noisy night club vanished in this room except for the noisy rooms next to us were talking and laughing out loud while their rooms were open and chairs in the hallways, we called reception and said they will handle it but they didnt, so at 5h00 in the morning we went out of the room and asked the guests in house politely to the keep it quite, they were bothered from this complain and shut the door, but still they were loud, And since we have checked in late like 10h30pm, we agreed with the manager Jean for a late checkout but he didnt inform anyone though he was still in the hotel that concludes our weekend with less than 48 hours as known worldwide While leaving, reception or even manager didnt apology for all our complaints and we paid mini bar and left Worst experience ever, i dont recommand anyone to live this experience and lets make it clear that this is not a 4 stars hotel not even close, 1 stars max

Hotel is small, rooms are small. It's more like a business suitable hotel. Staff are friendly (most of them). Pool is medium size, no kids area of kids pool. Hotel is close to the mall and a variety of restaurants and coffeeshops. No view from our room, not sure about other rooms though.

Bossa Nova Beirut Hotel

We had an event with 90 attendees, 50 of them with hotel accommodation, and it was one of the best experiences in terms of service and staff support. Starting with the conference rooms, we had the room on the 8th floor for the conference. The room was very clean and organized. The view was incredible and the atmosphere was in general very motivating. The IT staff were very supportive and helpful. They supported in setting up all what we needed for live-streaming online and were very responsive to all our requests. For the meals, we had breakfast, lunch, dinner, and 2 coffee breaks. At all time, the food was delicious and everyone enjoyed it. There was good variety of food and the quantities were sufficient for all. For the accommodation rooms, the room were very clean. The bed was very comfortable and the view from the panoramic rooms was amazing. What made the experience this much lovely and amazing is how friendly the staff were. Rima, Farid, Jihane, Hussein, and the IT staff were super responsive and lovely. Their support and kindness made the experience excellent. Looking forward to having more events hosted at Bossa Nova in the future!

It has been more than a year now that I am a regular weekly guest at Hayali and it has no doubt become my home way from home. Safe, clean, well-equipped and comfortable room, with a very friendly reception staff as the cherry on the top (in particular Bilal), this hotel is highly recommended if you are looking for a hassle-free accommodation.
Padova Hotel

My daughter and I spent two weeks here and we were very happy we chose this hotel. The one thing that really sets this hotel apart from others we’ve stayed at in Lebanon is the excellent hospitality we were shown by the entire staff, especially Samir and Nayiri at the front desk and Sultan at the restaurant. We enjoyed a lovey breakfast each day and some of the best coffee around! The location of the hotel is excellent, and it’s located in a quiet neighborhood. There is ample parking on the street and the hotel also has taxi (special thanks to Hussein and Elie!) We felt very safe at all hours here. Our room had a beautiful view and very ample storage! We appreciated the huge closets and shelving, we were able to stay organized with all the space. The bed was very comfortable and our room was nice and quiet even though we were close to the elevator. Be aware that this hotel is older and although it could use some updating (hairdryer, older outlets, a bit of wear and tear) it was extremely clean and functional. Housekeeping did an excellent job daily. We also had valuables (passports, iPads, Apple Watches, jewelry etc,) in our room and even cash and nothing was ever disturbed. We didn’t even use our room safe. We are so happy we found the Padova Hotel and we will continue to stay here with each visit, as well as recommend it to friends and family.
