"The island's scenery was quite disappointing. There's a power plant construction site on a nearby island, and black debris floated in the sea daily. Perhaps due to understaffing, they use a mobile app for bookings and promotions, sending 20-30 annoying push notifications from 7 AM to around 11 PM every day. Yet, when I tried to book a restaurant, most time slots were unavailable. I tried to borrow a pair of slippers, but the staff on the first two days told me they didn't offer them, even though I saw other guests walking around in hotel-provided flip-flops. The same thing happened with an umbrella; I tried to borrow one from the front desk, but the receptionist said it was reserved for another guest and wouldn't give it to me. I was quite surprised. Just as we were leaving, another front desk staff member asked why I hadn't returned their power adapter, even though I had never used one, nor did I know they had such poor management of hotel items. I hope they can improve. On the plus side, it's very close to Malé Airport and accessible by speedboat, and the price is relatively cheap. For dinner, you can choose between the Thai, Middle Eastern, or Italian restaurants, and the food was delicious! The restaurant staff seemed very busy and tired but still maintained a smile."

"This hotel is very new, the family room was comfortable, and the air conditioning worked perfectly. The hot water was consistently strong and never ran out. The hotel restaurant's food was incredibly delicious. We stayed for several days and ended up having breakfast, lunch, and even dinner there every single day. The chefs put a lot of care into preparing every ingredient, making everything taste amazing. Next time, I'll definitely come back to this beautiful island. The nearby ocean is incredibly clear, and the beach has stunning white sand and cool, crystal-clear water with tons of fish swimming around. To get such high quality for such an affordable price is truly outstanding. I highly recommend this to anyone visiting the Maldives – you get incredible quality for a low price, 100 out of 100!"

"We were completely satisfied with our vacation! The hotel isn't new, but everything is in good condition. It's an excellent hotel for its price-quality ratio. It's only a 15-minute speedboat ride from Malé. We booked through Trip.com and were met individually. The best standard rooms are 175-200, facing the best beach with a house reef. More expensive room categories are in less swimmable locations. Housekeeping twice a day. The food is varied, with something new for lunch and dinner every day – fish, chicken, seafood day, lamb day. The all-inclusive cocktails are a bit watered down and the selection is limited, but you can't say anything was missing. The corals on the house reef are a bit tired, but there are many fish, small sharks, and it's beautiful overall; we swam every day and never got bored. On the opposite side from the main beach is the beautiful Bandos Rock reef – there's never anyone there, and there seemed to be more marine life. Excursions need to be booked well in advance, several days ahead – there's swimming with manta rays, sharks, fishing, and dolphins – there likely won't be spots if you try to book the day before. There's a sufficient amount of Russian-speaking staff, including many great guys from Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan."

"A. Family trip, two villas. One sunset deluxe beach pool villa, and one sunset beach pool villa. 1. The deluxe villa is very luxurious and new, with air conditioning in the bathroom, but it's far from the restaurant and relatively further from the beach compared to non-deluxe rooms. 2. The regular villa is next to the restaurant, very close to the main pool and the lobby. However, it's older than the deluxe villa and its bathroom doesn't have air conditioning. B. The hotel's location is excellent, just a 20-minute speedboat ride from Malé airport. C. We bought the full board package. The restaurant specializes in Indian cuisine, which we really enjoyed. Juices and beverages are only available at breakfast. For lunch and dinner, you can only order à la carte; soft drinks are $5, juices are $10, plus an additional 27% service charge and tax. Haha... D. The excursions are too expensive, it really hurt my wallet (see picture). It's better to book them on a local island. E. You can snorkel near the overwater bungalows and the jetty, but there aren't many marine creatures, and the water quality is just average. Overall, the hotel offers great value for money. Next time, I definitely need to visit a local island, it's so much more economical... PS. It's best to download WhatsApp in advance. Our butler didn't really use WeChat and was often unreachable..."

"My wife and I were extremely satisfied with our stay at Hard Rock Hotel Maldives. The experience started smoothly even before check-in. We had arrived in Malé late the night before, and the Hard Rock team contacted and coordinated directly with the hotel we were staying at, making our transfer to the resort very easy and stress-free. All of the staff we met were friendly, polite, and welcoming. As an Accor Diamond member, I had originally considered staying at the Pullman or Sofitel, but after researching the different resorts, we felt that Hard Rock offered the experience that suited us best—and we were very happy with that decision. One of the biggest surprises was just how much there was to do. The resort offered many complimentary activities, entertainment, and shows. We first met one of the instructors, Pensi, during another dinner/show, and because she was so friendly and enthusiastic, we decided to join her hammock/silks class. It ended up being a lot of fun. She also performed in her own show the following day, which was amazing and became one of the highlights of our stay. My wife and I are not really into water sports, but we decided to try kayaking and were very glad we did. It gave us some beautiful views of the resort and surrounding water, as well as some great photos. Cycling between the connected islands was another simple activity that turned out to be surprisingly memorable and gave us some amazing photo opportunities along the way. Breakfast had a huge selection and everything we tried tasted great. We also ordered in-room dining, which was very easy through the resort's dedicated app. Getting around was simple as well. We could book a buggy through the app or use the bicycles that were available around the island. We stayed in a Platinum Overwater Pool Villa, and the room was clean, modern, spacious, and very comfortable. We could watch the sunrise from our private pool and also step directly from the villa into the ocean below. It was exactly the kind of Maldives experience we had imagined. We came expecting beautiful scenery, clear water, and amazing photos and videos, and Hard Rock certainly delivered all of that. What we did not expect was how much the activities, recreation, entertainment, and shows would add to the experience. They made the stay much more enjoyable and memorable than simply staying at a beautiful resort. We also appreciated seeing the resort manager attend Pensi's show and personally speak with guests. It gave us the impression that the management team genuinely makes an effort to engage with guests, listen to feedback, and make everyone’s stay as comfortable as possible. Overall, Hard Rock Hotel Maldives gave us everything we had hoped for from our Maldives trip, plus much more than we expected. We would be very happy to stay again."

"The biggest drawback of this hotel was the constant buzzing of the air conditioning, which gave me a headache. The room itself was decent, with a balcony where clothes dried overnight. We booked an island hopping tour with Kani and had a great time, although we happened to be on a very crowded trip with about 20 people, completely filling the boat. The nurse shark experience was done one family at a time, and then the drone footage was taken one person at a time. The downside of so many people was how time-consuming it was. The night fishing was pretty good, with about ten people, and quite fun. Afterwards, we had fried rice and one fish per person at the hotel's ground floor restaurant. Don't have high expectations for food in the Maldives; it's definitely not as tasty as in China, but it's not bad and fills you up."

"During the Spring Festival, the price of sacks increased so much that I chose Kaji Island after searching for a long time. The island is small and focuses on spa and health care. It is suitable for people who like quiet and leisurely. If you eat well, you can feel that the chef is attentive. The location of the water house No. 322 is great. There are fish swimming under your feet. You can see corals and trenches ten meters out from the water. At low tide, the water is very shallow and suitable for novice snorkelers (please be sure to wear a life jacket). Generally speaking, the service is still somewhat different from 6🌟 Island, but the price/performance ratio is good. Recommended~"

"The hotel is a bit old, but it's well-maintained. The staff are very friendly and proactively greet guests. However, the guy who checked us out was a bit aloof and didn't smile at all. What's truly commendable is that after we left the hotel by speedboat, we realized we had left an item behind. The staff immediately turned around and went back to the hotel to retrieve it for us. Their professionalism and dedication really deserve praise."

"Of course, we loved everything, how could we not? Everything was beautiful, well-maintained, and delicious! The ocean was splendid! Since my main interest was the sea and its inhabitants, my review will focus more on that. The coral reef directly around the island isn't the most spectacular. However, there's an interesting spot, marked as number 37 on the map. There, a large coral formation attracts a multitude of fish. We even saw sharks and various rays there. An added bonus is that twice a day, they offer a free boat trip to a different coral reef, where there are more fish and more interesting corals. We even saw a sea turtle once. These trips aren't long, lasting about 1-1.5 hours. You can go every day, twice a day, just make sure to sign up in advance on the app. The food is incredibly abundant, with various types of meat and fish. There's also a selection of moldy cheeses. Every evening features a themed dinner, ranging from Mexican to Pan-Asian cuisine. We stayed in an Ocean Villa, and ideally, we should have dined at the nearest restaurant. However, it was undergoing major construction and was completely demolished, so we had to go to the main restaurant. It's convenient that free buggies circulate around the island. You can call reception from your room, and they'll pick you up and take you wherever you need to go. It's best to swim on the east side of the island, as the sea there is calm. The west side always had waves. Also, it's better to avoid swimming at the very northern and southern tips of the island, as the currents are strong there. In the rooms, personally, I missed disposable hygiene kits and slippers. But perhaps, this doesn't quite fit with their concept of ”preserving nature from plastic.” Even the water bottles they provide are reusable glass ones. During strong winds, the overwater villa can shake, and drafts can whistle through all the windows. To some, this might seem scary, making it feel like the villa will be swept into the sea. However, no villas have ever been lost to the wind. You just need to be prepared for it. We never got bored on the island. During the day, we snorkeled, and in the evenings, there were different entertainment options every day. The app has a daily schedule, and we experienced live music nights, karaoke, and evening discos. Besides that, there's also a game room with billiards. It's convenient that you don't need to carry money to pay for drinks at the bar; everything is charged to your room number, and you settle the bill upon check-out. I also want to mention that there are two Russian girls working at the reception, and we always turned to them with any questions. There were many Russian guests; from our observations, about 50% were Russian and 50% were from other nationalities. Of course, I recommend this hotel to everyone who, like us, is visiting the Maldives for the first time. I found everything I needed on this island."
