Convenient and ease as already included morning tickets and night hot spring tickets and also breakfast so everything is seamless.
Room floor should be spc wooden as tiles too cold and tiles flooring looks cheap for hotel, not a personal fans for carpet floor and luckily they did not install that.
This is 3rd time staying here, good place for our son to experience lost world tambun as he loved the animals here roam freely and feeding freely.
Room has a strong smell as we guess they use strong air freshener male strong musky smell to mask the smoking smell before us. Water given to us also past expiry date đ
I saw the high rating on Trip.com and decisively chose to stay at this hotel, considering it as a potential top choice for future business trips.
**Welcome:** Communication was seamless, and the doorman quickly guided me to the parking lot.
**Parking:** There are two options: paid valet parking outside the hotel lobby, and a multi-story parking garage on floors 4-5 (free if you register at the front desk). There's a direct elevator from the parking lot to the lobby on the G floor, but it doesn't go directly to guest room floors.
**Lobby/Front Desk:** Complimentary welcome drinks were available. The front desk staff were highly efficient, completing check-in within about 5 minutes. They also clearly informed me about the complimentary supper buffet at 11 PM (porridge, red bean soup, soy milk, and some side dishes). They also accommodated my request for a late check-out.
**Guest Room:** I stayed on the 7th floor this time. There was a subtle, pleasant aroma from the lobby all the way to the room, not overpowering. The room was about 40 square meters, quite spacious, and the layout was very practical. The twin room also featured a bathtub, with warm lighting perfect for a relaxing soak. I personally prioritize good air conditioning, and it was excellent. The soundproofing of the glass was also good; occasionally, I could still hear the roar of modified cars or supercars.
**Facilities:** The infinity pool on the rooftop (R floor) offered a great view. However, I noticed the hotel doesn't seem to have a gym, though I'm not entirely sure.
**Breakfast:** The variety and selection were just average, not particularly extensive. The taste seemed to cater more to local Malaysian preferences.
**Pros:**
â Complimentary supper, a thoughtful touch, which is rare for hotels in Malaysia.
⥠Direct access between the hotel and Ipoh Parade shopping mall.
⢠Centrally located, so no worries about food and drinks.
⣠Extremely fast room service. I requested a bucket of ice, and it arrived within 7 minutes. Impressive!
⤠The complimentary mini-bar included regular coffee and tea, plus two extra beverages and two packets of peanuts/nuts.
**Areas for Improvement:**
â I noticed that during supper time, the tables already had breakfast cutlery and tissues laid out. After guests finished supper and the used cutlery was cleared, the unused cutlery remained on the table. This is a significant hygiene concern. I suggest setting up breakfast cutlery after supper service.
⥠The hairdryer should be placed in the bathroom for guests' convenience, not in the wardrobe (as the noise can disturb a companion).
⢠There was noticeable dust in the light strip recess next to the toilet in the bathroom.
⣠The Wi-Fi speed needs improvement. While not terrible, it wasn't ideal and affected work efficiency.
⤠The anti-slip properties of the floor tiles in the shower were not very good. This issue needs attention to prevent falls. Anti-slip coating could be applied, non-slip mats provided, or warning signs posted for guests.
**Summary:** As an experienced business traveler who has stayed in no less than 500 hotels worldwide, including high-end and luxury establishments, the above review is absolutely fair and reflects my personal experience. Overall, I'm quite satisfied. Considering the price and hotel category, it's worth returning to.
Had a pleasant stay at M Roof Hotel & Residence. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with modern design and good facilities. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout the stay. The location is convenient with many eateries nearby and easy parking available. The rooftop pool was a nice bonus. Breakfast could have more variety, but overall it was a good value stay and I would consider coming back again.
One suggestion for improvement would be to provide more clearly designated disabled parking spaces closer to the entrance to improve accessibility and convenience for guests with mobility needs.
The hotel's strengths are the spacious rooms and the presence of a bathtub, making for a generally comfortable stay. The cleanliness was acceptable and met basic standards, but the overall environment was quite ordinary, with nothing particularly special about it.
The only minor letdown was the service details: even though we booked a triple room, they only provided two sets of toothbrushes and bath towels. We were even charged an extra RM5 for an additional bath towel, which was a bit disappointing.
Overall, if you're looking for a short stay and prioritize space and basic comfort, this hotel is a decent option, but there's room for improvement in terms of service details.
Awesome hotel, felt welcoming while stepping in, smiling staff everywhere including housekeeping and restaurant server, Appreciate to Ms Jojo at the front desk who given us wonderful connecting room due to my handicap mom, Overall cleanliness is great, Thanks to the housekeeper Rahim who take care of room 515&516, My family enjoyed the stay so much especially my kid, love the pool and games room .The only downside was the pool entrance which is wet and slippery which needs more attention. One of a unforgettable hotel so far at Ipoh with beautiful scenery and people, Thanks AC Marriot, Hope to see you guys again âşď¸
We stayed at Ipoh Bali Hotel for 4 days and 3 nights for our honeymoon, and weâre truly so grateful we chose a local honeymoon instead of flying overseas. This place made our trip feel peaceful, romantic, and memorable.
From the moment we checked in, Raidah was incredibly warm, helpful, and friendly and she even checked us out at the end of our stay. Her hospitality really made us feel welcomed and taken care of throughout the trip.
All the staff we met during our stay were genuinely friendly and welcoming. Every time we walked past, we were greeted with smiles, which made the atmosphere feel so warm and comfortable.
We also had massages during our stay, and the masseuses were amazing. The service honestly felt like a 5-star experience, professional, relaxing, and exactly what we needed after the wedding.
A special mention to the breakfast team as well, especially May, who was so kind and attentive. The food was excellent. We loved it so much that we ordered the same dishes twice during our stay, the Balinese chicken porridge and the Balinese rice set (canât remember the exact name, but it was so good!).
The room itself was spacious with beautiful high ceilings, giving such a cozy Bali-inspired atmosphere. One of our favourite parts was the sound of flowing water from the balcony at night
It was incredibly calming and helped us sleep so well. The bathroom was also very spacious and came with a lovely bathtub, which made the whole honeymoon experience even more special.
Honestly, the hotel felt like a 5-star resort experience to us, so we were surprised to find out itâs officially rated 3 stars. The service, atmosphere, and overall experience exceeded our expectations.
Overall, this was the perfect honeymoon stay for us, and we will definitely come back again in the future.
The hotel's exterior is new and fresh, and the room is bright and comfortable with a modern, 'cyber' design. The toilet in the bathroom is state-of-the-art, and the in-room electronic system is very convenient to use. The lobby staff were all smiles, attentive, and friendly. The hotel is located near the city center, less than a ten-minute drive away, which is very convenient. For Ipoh, Malaysia, this hotel is definitely a five-star experience. Highly recommended!
The hotel is super convenient, with lots of great food options nearby. It's also really close to Concubine Lane, Second Concubine Lane, and Third Concubine Lane. However, the air conditioning was a bit slow and not very strong. They only provide large towels, no small ones. On the plus side, the room was very clean, and it's definitely worth staying here again.
The place is clean and well managed. Self check in Malaysia is a surprise but works well. Each co living units has a few rooms but the main common room is well equipped with living space facilities. Location is also nice since it's close to the old town and everything is within walking distance. The parking space has tight entrance but could easily be managed by a seasoned driver. Would recommend to anyone looking for a nice and cheap place to stay
I recently stayed at DoubleTree by Hilton Damai Laut Resort to celebrate a special anniversary, but unfortunately, the experience did not meet my expectations.
Upon arriving at 3:00 PM, I had to wait in a very long queue for check-in and only received my room key at approximately 3:40 PM. After entering the room, I noticed that the anniversary decorations I had requested were in place, but the cake, chocolates, and fruit platter that I had paid for were not provided. As this was intended to be a surprise for my husband, it was quite disappointing.
What was even more frustrating was that no one informed me that these items were not yet ready. I had to call and follow up myself to check on their status. The cake and other items only arrived more than an hour later, which significantly reduced the excitement and impact of the surprise.
I was also surprised to find that the minibar fridge was completely empty, with no canned drinks or refreshments available. Considering the room rate was approximately RM1,200 per night, I expected more than just complimentary bottled water.
The room was advertised as having a king-size bed, but it felt smaller than expected. In addition, the dinner buffet pricing for children was quite expensive at RM50 per child. My children are 8 and 10 years old and, like most children their age, they eat only small portions and usually only one or two dishes. The breakfast charges for children were also relatively high, making the overall dining cost difficult to justify for young children.
To make matters worse, the cashier accidentally charged my children's dinner twice. Although the duplicate charge was voided, I was informed that the refund process could take between 7 and 14 weeks. This seems like an excessively long waiting period for a billing error made by the hotel.
Overall, this stay was disappointing and frustrating. I had expected a smooth and memorable experience for such a special occasion, but several service shortcomings negatively affected our celebration. I hope the management will review these issues and make improvements to enhance the guest experience in the future.

YYauheniya SatsurađĄ Modest but Convenient Hotel Near the Beach
We stayed at this hotel in Pangkor, and overall, our experience was positive.
- đ **Location:** It's super close to the beach and the main street with cafes and shops â you really couldn't ask for a better spot.
- đ **Accommodation Style:** The hotel is made up of small bungalows, each with its own entrance. Most have a little terrace with a table. It's all very simple, but clean and pleasant.
- đď¸ **Amenities:** The bedding was clean, there was always hot water, and the air conditioners were powerful. The towels, however, are quite worn out and could use replacing.
- đ **Pool:** There is a pool, but it looked a bit gloomy, so we didn't use it.
- đĽ **Staff:** The owners are polite and friendly. No deposit is required. There's a front desk, but it's not open 24/7, which is something to keep in mind if you're checking in late.
đ **Bottom Line:** A simple yet tidy hotel with an excellent location. It's suitable for those looking for affordable accommodation by the sea without extravagant expectations. We were happy with our stay.

JJenniellStayed one night at Travelodge Ipoh and honestly itâs one of my favourite hotels whenever I have work in Ipoh đ¤ The room feels much more spacious compared to many other hotels in the same range, super comfortable after a long day.
Also, can we talk about the shower gel? đ The lemongrass scent is sooo refreshing and relaxing â small detail but it really made the stay feel extra nice.
Clean room, comfy stay, good experience overall. Will definitely come again!

IilkashongThe location very good. You can walk to many famous restaurants in Ipoh old town. All not more than ten minute, very convenient.
House is very big and bed is comfortable. But the smell from the sewer is very strong and extremely unpleasant. It helped when you close the toiletâs door.
Not much soundproof, you can hear other guests walking and chatting at the corridor. It can be quite noisy in the morning and night when people passing by.
The design of the car park is a nightmare. Itâs octagon shaped - really challenging when you drive the car up to level 7 in one go.
The management team quite approachable. They will collect RM300 for damage deposit through credit card. And will return in 1-2 days after your check out. ( I havenât checked if I received the return).
YYoung KerThe hotel offers simple and clean accommodations, and although it is an older establishment, it is well-maintained. A cash deposit of RM50 is required, which may be inconvenient for guests who do not typically carry much cash. The presence of numerous dogs along the pavement outside can be intimidating. My room faced the road, resulting in some traffic noise. Aeon is conveniently located across the road, accessible by car, and several restaurants are situated on the same row as the hotel.
TTravel LostIâm from Ipoh and brought my Friends here for a short gateway . What a wonderful hotel to stay . Walking distance to famous restaurants and attractions. Easy to grab . Beside a restaurant got a nice restaurant to dine in especially the tou fu fa !!! Much nicer than the famous one . Another Japanese restaurant just beside the hotel . I will definitely recommended for all .
GGuest UserFor the price, I think it is a reasonable option. Â However objectively:
1. The air-cons don't work well - one of them was leaking. Â The staff was helpful in sending contractor to fix while we were out but due to miscommunication (because we have connecting rooms) the âfixâ was made to the air-con that wasn't leaking as badly as the one we complained about. Â To be fair they offered to swap rooms but we are a family of 5 and it was a hassle to repack and move so we declined.Â
2. The hot water was very good despite some reviews. Â However the shower head in one of the rooms were such that they don't stay put so occasional splashes happened.Â
3. One of the rooms wasn't cleaned (we have connecting room) - the âmake my roomâ card wasn't available in one of the room so we hung on just 1 of the room and left the connecting door open, thinking that the cleaners would clean both. Â They only cleaned 1. Â I guess we could have outright told reception instead of assuming that the cleaners will clean both rooms since we left the connecting door open.Â
4. I paid for extra bed - but the bedsheet was dusty - they changed it (or at least vacuumed it) after the first night.Â
5. The beds were quite comfortable, they offered free bottled water and coffee sachets, tv worked, fridges worked, rooms were decent sized, wifi was ok - ample street parking, the lights were ok but one of the rooms had stark white lights instead of the warmer ones. Location was good, just off the highway and across the eateries in Bercham.Â
6. The staff were helpful and friendly. Â Despite the complaints they texted me and constantly called to check if we needed towels (because one of the room weren't cleaned) and they asked twice if we wanted to change rooms (we didn't because of reason stated above).Â
7. Suggestion - build a small ramp to go up to the hotel from the road if possible. Â It will be helpful for luggage and older folks / wheelchairs etc.Â
All in all, it was a decent stay. Â Price was competitive but cleanliness could be better - and air-con/shower heads can be better maintained.Â
NNzet1996Got a short trip to Ipoh and choose Zone Hotel Ipoh. The location is nice where it is just 15 mins from Ipoh city central and nearby to plaza tol. It feels comfortable to stay with clean room and quiet environment.
MMarcus TeohVery strategic location but seems cleanliness big issue as toilet basin leaking and when we check in has some left over rubbish in the room and the pillow case seems long time didn't change. In terms of location it's very strategic travel within Ipoh town area. Do take note when exit lift area there a slight slope which me and my wife almost fell down. Think hotel must put a various sign on this too especially for elderly not aware such risk
