I had a pleasant stay here. Staff is friendly and helpful, spacious & clean room. The only thing is, breakfast spread might need to upgrade as it is too limited foor available. No pastries like croissant, baguette bread. Spread only consist limited main course, egg station. Hope i could get more varieties on my 3rd visit if any.
My second time staying at this hotel, the first time was on official work, and this time for holiday. The staff are friendly and helpful, especially Annie at the Front Office. The room was nice and clean, had a bath tub and sufficient plug points. The hotel also serves supper beside breakfast, no other hotels serve supper before, except for events, so it's a big plus, and the food is delicious, especially their signature nasi lemak, the best I had in a hotel. And the hotel also link to the shopping mall, Ipoh Parade. So I think this hotel have a complete package.
This was my first time staying in a hotel like this, and it was a really novel experience. This particular place absolutely blew me away; the value for money is incredible. It was a fantastic stay!
The only downside was that my car, parked in a spot right outside the hotel, actually got a parking ticket. I couldn't believe it!
Travelodge Ipoh is a hotel with an excellent location. It is situated in the city center and is also very close to the old town. The room is quite spacious and clean. In line with environmental sustainability efforts, most hotels no longer provide bottled water in the rooms. However, there are water dispensers near the elevators where guests can refill their own water. It’s a good reminder to bring a reusable water bottle when traveling.
Room age and looks old especially the flooring SPC wood layer already peeled out and loose after we accidentally kicked on it near balcony, but is broken easily due to rain water seepage in from balcony and luckily our feet didn't get hurts after accidentally kick on it, also in detachable condition so really deteriorating . Took RM100 deposit upon check in and we worried they will blame this on us but luckily they didn't say anything.
I hope the management will at least change the flooring, as it can pose dangerous risk and don't let bad things happen over only regret over it.
Breakfast is included, under age 5 is free.
Nice new hotel in ipoh.
Service was awesome. Staff listened to our feedback .
We had some issues but it was quickly rectified.
Definitely will come back
We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights.
The room furniture is slightly old but still ok to stay.
The staff are friendly & helpful.
The location is great, surrounded by mall & eatery. There is a market behind the hotel. Walkable to Taiping Lake.
Hotel very near to sightseeing places.
Newly renovated room on 8 floor. Very decent room and breakfast for the pricing. Parking outside the hotel . Good location near to airport and petrol station.
Hotel is under renovation but still is decent enough. 41 RM for breakfast for 1 pax seem cheaper than booking online which is for 2 pax and higher price.
It was an okay experience staying here. Easy and quick check-in. Basement car park is available at RM2/day with multiple entry. Validate your TnG card at the counter during check-in. Also, you need to pay for tourism tax RM3/night/room. Cleanliness could be improved especially the toilet.
Cons
No bed side plugs
Old and small TV
Water leaks when using the bidet (we booked two rooms only one room got this problem, we stayed at the 11th floor)
Pros
Wifi and aircond worked very well
Iron and ironing board
Hotel was great, good breakfast spread, walking distance to the mall n the night market. Short distance to airport.
Next to a few good massage spots and also a few convenient stores!
Very Good

NnrdynaaaaaWe had a lovely stay at DoubleTree by Hilton Damai Laut 🤍
The resort is peaceful and surrounded by nature perfect for a short family getaway to unwind from city life. The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable, and waking up to the greenery and sea view was truly refreshing.
What we enjoyed most was how kid-friendly the resort is. The kids had so much fun with the pools and outdoor spaces, and we could actually relax knowing they were happy and occupied. Breakfast was good with a decent variety, and the staff were consistently warm, polite, and helpful throughout our stay.
Overall, it was a relaxing and enjoyable experience for both adults and kids. A great choice for families looking for a calm beach resort vibe. We’ll definitely consider coming back
CCS10It’s pretty good overall! If you’re planning to do some business in Menglembu, I’d definitely recommend staying here. It’s super close to Ipoh township, which is great. Plus, it’s pretty secure because we have to check IDs for everyone who stays, so it’s hard for anyone to just waltz in and out.
GGuest UserReally pleased with the deluxe king room. It's quite spacious and offers great value for money. Its location near the city center is also a big plus.
GGuest UserWhat’s good:
📍 Convenient location — easy to get around Ipoh, Grab is readily available
🧹 Clean room — hotel isn’t new, but cleanliness is acceptable.. Don't expect too much.
🧾 Smooth check-in — front desk was efficient, no unnecessary delays
💰 Good value — fair quality for what you pay
What to manage expectations on:
⚠️ Interior is a bit dated, don’t expect a modern or boutique vibe
⚠️ Facilities are basic — this is not a resort-style hotel
⚠️ Sound insulation is average; light sleepers should take note, can hear the bike downstair even T 6 Floor
Recommended for:
Short stays or business trips
Food-hunting trips in Ipoh
Travelers who prioritize cleanliness, location, and price
Not ideal for:
Staycations or romantic getaways
Guests looking for Instagram-worthy interiors
Those expecting premium hotel amenities
⭐ Final Take
Hotel Regal Vista Ipoh is a “safe choice” hotel.
You won’t be wowed, but you also won’t regret booking it — as long as your expectations are realistic.
My booking come with Breakfast.. again don't expect too much
GGuest UserM roof hotel is spacious and clean. We absolutely love the bathroom set up and area and the bed was comfortable and cosy. Air conditioning was good and cooling. We had enjoyable stay. Parking was full due to Public Holidays and dinner event so had to park further away.
GGuest UserTitle: The Ultimate Fun Villa! Non-Stop Entertainment! ★★★★★
Our stay at this Pool Villa was an absolute blast—it was fantastic from start to finish and completely exceeded our expectations! They have 5 rooms and 7 double beds, pretty spacious for up to 14 people.
Top-Notch Entertainment Facilities - A Total Surprise!
This place is more than just a private pool; it's a full-blown private entertainment hub! What our group of friends loved most:
· Private Karaoke System: The KTV setup was awesome with a massive, up-to-date song library. We found all the latest hits, classics, and Cantonese songs
· Retro Arcade Games & Pool Table: The arcade cabinet had so many classic games for a serious nostalgia trip. After that, switching to a competitive game of pool kept the energy high. These facilities really made our trip unforgettable.
Thoughtful Touches That Made All the Difference
Beyond the fun, it was the thoughtful details that truly impressed us:
· Water Dispenser in the Kitchen: Incredibly convenient! No need to boil water or buy loads of bottles. Having instant hot and cold water on tap was a game-changer.
· Luxurious Bathtub & Bath Salt: The biggest sweet touch was the owner providing bath salt for us! After a full day of activities, sinking into a fragrant, hot bath was the perfect way to unwind and felt like pure luxury. This small gift added such a personal, caring touch.
Verdict: We Will 100% Be Back!
This villa perfectly combines a luxurious private space, premium entertainment, and heartfelt service. From swimming to singing, gaming to soaking, everything was seamless—we never had to think about what to do next.
I will HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place to all my friends. Whether it's for a big group hangout, a family gathering, or a special celebration, this is the perfect choice. Thank you to the owner for creating such a wonderful space for making memories.
