I recently had a wonderful time at Tasman Resort Park and it was truly the perfect place to relax and unwind.
The resort park is located in a beautiful natural environment, making people feel close to nature. There are various accommodation options. I stayed in a spacious wooden house with a warm and comfortable interior design and complete equipment, which made me feel like home.
The facilities in the park are also very good, the swimming pool is very clean, and there are various outdoor activities to participate in. The most impressive thing is the enthusiasm and friendliness of the service staff. Whether it is the reception at check-in or the service in the restaurant, I feel it. Feel at home. The food in the restaurant is fresh and delicious, especially the local seafood dishes, which convinced me to try it and become a patron.
Overall, Tasman Resort Park is a highly recommended holiday destination, perfect for families and friends to come together to enjoy nature and relax. If I have the chance to come back, I will definitely stay again!
This is the accommodation that I’ll recommend to those who are looking for a nice place to stay when visiting Rotorua. The kitchen is well-equipped & spacious. The rooms are clean & flawless.
This is a great stay in a perfect location with great views and beaches and walks nearby. Highly recommend this. A very comfy place where they make you feel some where special. Restaurants nearby, the handbook of the hotel is also wonderful. Absolutely loved and would definitely come back. Thanks so much.
We had a generally pleasant experience in Rydges Rotorua. though there were a few drawbacks. The hotel rooms are showing signs of age, and overall cleanliness in our bedroom was just average. A particular letdown was the rusty kettle provided in the room. On the positive side, the hotel offers a good range of amenities, including a heated swimming pool, spa and a children's playroom which are great for families. The buffet breakfast had a good variety of options and was a nice way to start the day. While it's not perfect, this hotel is a fair choice for families looking for a comfortable stay with decent facilities.
Interesting 3 bedroom apartment, building is made of central hexagon shape with the sunken living room in the middle. Only problem is the 7th person has to sleep in a portable collapsable spring bed so not comfortable. Overall we enjoyed our stay and host promptly came to our rescue when we couldn't figure out how to power on the heater.
I had a wonderful stay at AWA Hotel in Rotorua. The staff were incredibly warm, welcoming, and accommodating, making me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. The atmosphere was comfortable and inviting, and I truly enjoyed my time there. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Rotorua!
We were happily surprised with the location, the staff were very professional, helpful and polite. The amenities above our expectations. Our room spacious and the other room we visited showed ours not a one off.
Highly recommend and definitely would stay again.
Many many thanks.
The room is spacious and comfortable, and the parking is very convenient to park directly in front of your bedroom. The service is very good, my mobile phone has fallen to the restaurant and I have not found it. The waiter at the hotel rushed to the ship we were about to leave and returned the phone to me.
I am very satisfied with the hotel's service and rooms, especially the bar where the bartender named Cole is very professional and the service attitude is very good. We went there for two consecutive nights and had a happy conversation. I hope to give this message back to the manager
We enjoyed the stay in Armitage. Many restaurants nearby. The room is clean. And the staff is helpful when the air conditioning is not working in our room.

GGuest UserI had a wonderful stay at AWA Hotel in Rotorua. The staff were incredibly warm, welcoming, and accommodating, making me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. The atmosphere was comfortable and inviting, and I truly enjoyed my time there. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Rotorua!
Llindy namThe room was okay but there was no pool due to maintenance. Also, no common area even for microwave (on the website, there is photo for shared kitchen that’s why we chose here since we have kids so at least we could have easy breakfast) that was shame. Anyway, not too bad for just staying and sleeping for a night though.
GGuest UserThe TV didn't work and the tub could've been cleaner. Also the carpeting needed replacing. There were many stains and maybe a burn mark. Kind of strange. The staff were very nice though.

AAnnM.I recently stayed at Arawa Park Hotel and had a pleasant experience overall. The location is excellent—close to Rotorua’s main attractions and surrounded by beautiful scenery.
The room was spacious, clean, and featured large, comfortable beds. Considering the affordable price, it’s excellent value for money and ideal for anyone looking for a comfortable, budget-friendly stay.
The staff were attentive and friendly, even offering to heat up meals for guests—a thoughtful touch that added convenience. I also appreciated their focus on security, as they took note of my car’s plate number during check-in.
I noticed that the hotel has washing machines and laundry facilities, which could be very useful for longer stays. While I didn’t ask if these are free for guests to use, it’s great to see such amenities available. Clearer information about their usage would be helpful.
One downside was the lack of adaptors in the room, which made charging devices a little inconvenient. Adding adaptors or universal outlets would greatly improve the overall experience for guests.
Overall, Arawa Park Hotel is an excellent choice for a comfortable and affordable stay in Rotorua. With minor tweaks like providing adaptors and clearer communication about amenities, it could be even better.
GGuest UserClean and nice deco room, lovely water view, spacious bathroom, however, the facilities such as gym and cleanliness in public areas can be improved. As to location, if you drive, that’s no a problem at all, would love to recommend this resort.
CCielo AzulThe room is large and the facilities are quite complete
The gym facilities are average
The parking lot has narrow corridors, which is not convenient for large vehicles
The hotel is in a good location near Jinjijin supermarket and restaurant

AAround&AboutWe stayed 3 nights in a private room at Rock Solid. The first room we got assigned was just below the lounge area and given the walls are so thin it really seemed like a group of people was in our room. The manager was very nice and moved us into a different room- walls still thin but at least in a different location vs the first room. The common areas are big and clean + you get 50% discount on the climbing wall gym which we used!
MMandyAccommodation is clean and comfy. Room was slightly on the smaller side, but it was comfortable. We were 2 hours earlier, couldn’t get an early check in. Had to go around the town to waste some time till check in time. My children enjoyed the pool & the hot tub at moonlight, which was a bonus. Breakfast was alright, nothing fancy. Overall stay was good.
