Everyone is nice. But staff needs to know more about the area and places that we asked they have no clue.
Linens and towels needs to be replaced when the color is almost brown instead of white. Its a very old hotel We had to call to replaced our pillows because its smells like old sweat. We were so excited that its beach front not until they told us the water is not recommended for swimming. We had to go to another island and pay. We were disappointed with that.Breakfast buffet is good.

The main thing is that it's very close to the airport, which is convenient. The price isn't too expensive either; I booked it for my staff. I think the hotel is quite good, and I'll book it again next time I have the chance to visit.

The hotel is rather old and not that well maintained, the ceiling of the common area leaks due to no good roof, looks like the upper story was never completed. Wi-fi does not work in the room or on the second floor you have to sit in the hotel lobby. Hotel is generally clean, but under bed, and corners of common areas are covered in dust.
Generally its ok for a few nights at a good price, but hotel is deteriorating rapidly due to lack of maintenance.

the dinner buffet with discounted rate for hotel guest was a thumbs and the food too was superb. With the shops outside the hotel from convenient stores, entertainment bars, massage parlors were all walking distance. i had a peaceful and well rested night. So overall I had a great stay

The hotel lobby is beautifully decorated, but the rooms are a bit simple in design, though very spacious. It seems to be a popular place. The mattress was a bit soft for my liking, but sleeping on a bath towel made it just right. Breakfast offered a good variety.

The hotel is generally clean. Front desk is exceptional at greeting guests and guiding them with their respective bookings. Loved the proximity of the hotel from places like Ayala Malls Abreeza and SM Lanang. Hopefully, I get the change to stay here again when I visit Davao.

It was a great stay.Location is perfect for travellers who has an earlier flight.it is 5minutes away from the hotel. sorroundings are clean .you can find restaurants nearby.There is laundry store too.accessable if you want to go to the city center there are taxi and jeepneys outside .

From the moment we arrived at Dusit Thani Residence Davao, we felt welcomed and well-taken care of. The lobby, though modest in size, exuded a calm charm and the check-in process was smooth. We were greeted warmly by staff who treated us with genuine hospitality — their attentiveness set the tone for our entire stay. Many previous guests also praised the staff’s politeness and readiness to help.  We stayed in a studio apartment, and it was nothing short of comfortable. The room came with a kitchenette, a coffee/tea maker, minibar, and free WiFi — extremely convenient whether you’re staying briefly or planning a longer stay.  The modern fittings and thoughtful layout made it easy to relax or be productive: there was enough space to move around, and everything was clean and well-kept. Cleanliness, indeed, stood out during our stay — a point frequently echoed by other guests.  One of the highlights was the leisure amenities. We took full advantage of the outdoor swimming pool — a serene little oasis perfect for a morning dip or evening unwind. The fitness centre, spa, and wellness offerings added to the sense of pampering. For those traveling with kids or family, there’s even a kids’ pool and a family-friendly vibe.  Breakfast and dining at the hotel also deserve special mention. The buffet breakfast was generous and satisfying — a great way to start a busy day in Davao. For lunch or dinner, the on-site restaurant served a mix of Thai, Asian, international, and European dishes, giving a variety that could cater to different tastes and dietary preferences.  The presence of a café and even a pastry/deli option made it easy to grab a light meal or snack without leaving the property.  Location is another strong suit for Dusit Thani Residence. I booked two rooms at Apo View Hotel for my family’s Davao City day trip. A deluxe room for my parents and a superior room for my siblings, as no family rooms were available. Wasn’t able to use the other hotel amenities since the Davao City stay was short. Despite a stressful flight rescheduling (with Cebu Pacific), the hotel was a highlight! The rooms were comfortable and well-appointed, with my parents loving the deluxe’s cozy vibe and my siblings enjoying the superior’s modern touches. On the booking i requested rooms around lower floors, unfortunately they refused and handed fourth floor rooms. The breakfast buffet, which I added on, was a hit with fresh fruits, adobo, and pandesal that brought the family together the morning after. Apo View hotel’s prime downtown location made exploring spots like People’s Park a breeze. I stayed here years ago and was thrilled it lived up to my memories. Will definitely book again for our next Davao adventure

SMX Lanang is just a walking distance here like 5-7minutes. If you want to buy things, a lot of stores are available outside, it's very convenient. It was a nice stay coz were very close to SMX where our event is, we won't think about traffic anymore coz it's a walking distance.

The hotel has a great location, if you are just catching a flight. The terminal is at a walking distance. Room is spacious and comfortable, i only felt certain areas could have been a bit cleaner, as there were food crumbles scattered around desk. Maybe it was cleaned in a rush, as they forgot to even put the towel in, but i got it after a request. In the bathroom, there is hot water, but only hard soap and shampoo available, no body shower gel. Prepare to have 500 pesos for the key deposit. But also, they were flexible when i said i am leaving the country, and would prefer not to have a cash leftover (dont do my mistake, you still need to pay the airport terminal fee in cash - 784 pesos!). I decided to spend my last banknotes on food. Frankly, the shop in the hotel building is so overpriced, that I rather walked 5 minutes back toward town, and bought some snacks at 7/11, much more affordable. You can buy instant noodles and make them with the hot water from the hotel corridor. There's a water heater in the room also (for instant coffee), but you would have to bring drinkable water. Well, there were even instant noodles offered in the room, but i didnt see utensils available (spoon, or fork, or anything of such).
