Very satisfied with this hotel đ! This hotel should be the best hotel in Rockford. It was transformed from a factory in 1916 in 2020. The creative design is good, and the hotel has an industrial style. The breakfast is also American, which is good. It is better than most hotels in the United States. The service is good and simple. The facilities in the room are complete. The facilities in the suite are complete, and the sofa bed is also good. There is a scenic bar on the 12th floor. Although the scenery of this small city is only a river, the light is beautiful when the sun sets. This hotel is a landmark building in this small town. The small city of 150,000 people has a small population. We had dinner on the underground floor, steak and fish fingers, which was not expensive. The tax in Illinois is only 8%, and the tip is reasonable. In short, for a place with a strong rural atmosphere, this hotel gives you a leisurely feeling. The hotel gave us six glasses of self-selected wine, which felt very good.

The location was excellent for the places and people I wanted to visit, and the nearby shopping mall was very convenient. There is a residential area around the hotel so I could walk my dog in a quieter area away from the busy streets. Doggy bags and a disposal container for the bags are located behind the building--very thoughtful of the management! A very nice stay!

The hotel offers good facilities like the pool, and the breakfast, even over a 4-day stay, remains enjoyable due to the variety in the offerings. Additionally, free parking is a nice perk.
However, I was disappointed that the safe in my room was not functioning and wasnât repaired during our 4-night stay. Another downside was the hotel's policy of not making the beds or changing towels during the first 3 nights. On a positive note, when I requested fresh towels, they provided them promptly.

It's a nice plaza with everything from restaurants and supermarkets. The whole neighborhood looks a bit classy. The gym and swimming pool are good, a good choice on the way to Milwaukee

It is very close to the airport. There is a 24-hour shuttle bus that runs every 10 minutes. It is very convenient. The room is large, comfortable and quiet. Because I leave at night until early morning, I don't pay attention to the surrounding area of ââthe hotel. In short, it is very suitable for connecting flights.

GGuest UserEnvironment: Absolutely stunning! You get direct river views! It feels very safe here, and right downstairs is the city center.
Service: The hotel doesn't provide water! The small shop downstairs sells water at a high price, so I recommend buying it from a larger store.
Hygiene: The bedding is great! Shower gel, shampoo, and conditioner are all provided, just remember to bring your own toothpaste and toothbrush!

GGuest UserHad a very great stay. Just around 3am there was a lady there said she's from New Orleans but that's besides the point. We had gotten locked out of the hotel and was trying to open the door with the key card so we could go upstairs to get to our room. I ended up calling the front desk from the phone on the outside of the hotel doors and she answered very rude and said âWhat the f do yu wantâ I immediately hung up and once she opens the door I told her I have a room here and could not get inside so there was no need to be rude and asked if she was okay. She then called the police on me and my mother and made my mother get a hotel room at another hotel. Very very unprofessional. Then her son works there and she ended up telling her son what happened and as I was leaving the hotel on the morning he came up to me and asked me what my problem was with his mother. I ignored him because I am one girl an I'm very small and he is a very husky men and like 6ft. What the heck am I gonna do if I'm 5'0 getting beat up by this man or something. I WILL NOT BE COMING BACK TO THIS HOTEL

I was initially quite hesitant to check into this hotel after reading a number of detailed and lengthy negative reviews, especially those highlighting hidden fees and cleanliness issues. However, upon arrival with my partner, I was pleasantly surprised.
The hotel was clean and well-decorated, with a modern and cohesive style. Our check-in process was fast and efficient, and the receptionist was friendly and happy to answer all of our questionsâespecially about the fees mentioned on the hotelâs website.
One of the main issues people seem to bring up is the so-called âhiddenâ fees. In my experience, these fees are not actually hiddenâtheyâre listed on the hotelâs official website. That said, they could definitely be communicated more clearly. Itâs important to read the fine print when booking and during check-in. While the fees may not be obvious at first glance, the hotel is legally allowed to include them since they are technically disclosed.
Our room was spacious and comfortable, with enough space to hang clothes. There were multiple hangers, and the locker-style closets matched the hotelâs sporty decor. The floor and bathroom were clean overall, though I did spot a spider in the corner of the showerâbut nothing alarming.
The downstairs common area includes an open kitchen with a communal fridge and even a crockpot, which was a nice surprise. There were also several games available, like ping pong and air hockey, which makes this place family- and couple-friendly.
Guests are allowed to enjoy drinks provided in the kitchen. If youâre sensitive to noise, particularly trains, I recommend requesting a room farther down the hall on the first floor. Our room was in a quiet spotâI barely noticed the train, and when I did, it was more like soft white noise. Still, bringing earplugs might help if youâre a light sleeper.
Overall, I recommend this hotel. Itâs in a nice area, the decor is visually appealing, and the stay was enjoyable. Just be aware of a $120 refundable deposit (if no damage is done to the room) and an additional $50 guest fee. Knowing that ahead of time helps avoid surprises.
Iâm very grateful for the pleasant stay and would return again.

GGuest UserPool was saline and clean and warm enough to actually use. Breakfast was nice. Parking was $50 in the self park next door. Entrance houses 3 hotels which is confusing. Hotel had clean products and no terrible chemical or mold smells.

JJamesThis place is excellent if youâre a stressed out business traveler, looking for a good rate, and if youâre willing to manage your own transportation from the airport and back, but the amenities after a long late night arrival waking up the next day, sitting in the hot tub having a swim in the pool and a steam and a sauna along with an icy cold shower afterwards just recharges you after a long business trip, especially if you international like me I wouldnât necessarily call it family friendly, but itâs definitely good for entrepreneur business travel if you can get a good rate otherwise there are other hotels out there if you canât get a good rate. The rooms are not specifically special compared to the competition, but itâs an a quieter area and the fitness and aquatic amenities are what makes the difference for me as I have back problems and after a long international flight all I wanna do is get in the hot tub or take a steam or sauna. Iâm needing an airport shuttle. I would not recommend this hotel and if you arenât willing to risk having to pay a premium for a car service or Uber then do not book here. I wish I could stay at this hotel long enough to enjoy all of their amenities as they are really good, but as breakfast is not included, it can be a pricey for what you get when you compare it to other hotels in the area and hotels closer to the airport. Yet as long as I can get a good rate on this hotel, I will keep going back as I frequently travel international for work and just having the peace of the secluded area and the steam room and sauna make it a huge selling feature for me as they really assist my rejuvenation after a long day or more of travel. ïżŒ

GGuest UserStayed for 3 nights - checked in on a Friday afternoon and out on a Monday morning. Got the ADA room and was mostly okay with it (I never turn down a walk-in shower), but was put off by the fact that there was nowhere to hang clothing and nowhere to place toiletries in the bathroom. Luckily I didn't need to hang anything, but this would have been a problem if I'd brought dress clothes. As for where to put toiletries, I ended up placing the portable shower seat next to the sink and using that surface. Hopefully the seat had been cleaned sometime between someone having their bare butt in it and me using it as a shelf. For the life of me I can't figure out why people design hotel rooms without bothering to know if they'll actually work for staying in. I also wasn't thrilled with the âbreakfastâ on offer. Engineered âomeletâ and packaged, processed junk is NOT breakfast. There was absolutely nothing healthy on offer other than fruit - which was the stuff the grocery store didn't want. The good things about the hotel include staff truly striving to satisfy the customer, a clean room (including the carpet), a location within walking distance of many of Quincy's major attractions, and plenty of parking. But the parking lot itself badly needs repaving (it poured one afternoon and my feet and shoes were soaked because of the rivers running through the parking lot). In any event, there are some improvements that could be made, but I enjoyed my stay overall and would put the hotel on my list of places to stay should I return to the area in the future.
